I’ve made my own brown sugar milk boba tea before and it’s so easy and cost efficient. I got a huge bag of the milk tea powder and uncooked boba pearls at my local Asian market.

Such a fun video! When you buy boba at a store, how do you use your glass straws to poke through the film on the cups? Do you have to use something else to cut an opening?
Is the milk tea powder sweetened, or is the only sweetness the brown sugar? To me a valuable aspect of making boba at home is controlling the sweetness level.
