I think i will have tried some. (edit after I watched some of the video- I have tried the dunkin drinks with the boba, and i honestly hated it with the boba. Your description was spot on. But yes I really didn’t like it. It was super sweet!)
okay here's the ACTUAL best milk tea Starbucks drink, ask for a grande iced black tea, substitute water for oat milk, add 2 pumps brown sugar and 2 pumps vanilla, it's amazing
As an ex starbucks employee, the brown sugar syrup’s pump is half the size of a regular pump so 4 pumps of brown sugar is really 2 regular pumps of syrup. That’s why if you ever get the brown sugar oat milk shaken espresso, it’s not really sweet
Lol literally every time she was like they must have made it wrong i was like noooo ur venti drink actually just has the equivalent of 3 pumps which is def not gonna be sweet
Sis, I work at Starbucks. Get the black tea (whatever size), no water, add soy, with the brown sugar syrup! Let me know if you try it out! I also have a really complicated way of making a milk tea since we didn’t get the brown sugar syrup until recently. Lemme know if you want that recipe lol or come to Vegas and I’ll make it for you!
You have to try this! Everyone should tbh. This taste really like the jasmine milk tea with milk cap. And it’s really cheap, it’s $3.95 for grande in a venti cup I believe. Grande in a venti cup will leave much more rooms for the salted cream foam so u get more. Grande Iced Green tea - in a venti cup - no ice (or light ice) - substitute water to whole milk ( or 2%) - no liquid cane sugar - substitute to 6 pumps of sugar free vanilla syrup - add salted cream foam on top I can’t say it tastes exact same with the jasmine milk tea, but the green tea in Starbucks has a taste that’s special and I love it so much!
My fav Starbucks milk tea hack: Royal English Tea Latte + light water + Breve (Half & Half) + No cane sugar + 2 pumps of caramel, extra hot in a Grande cup You have to try it!!!
When you were trying the starbucks "boba" "milk tea" hacks i could not stop laughing because i work at starbucks and completely understand what you're talking about! ~the problem i s our black tea which isn't really that good AT ALL because we cut the tea with water (tea bag + hot water) let it sit for 5 mins then add ice to the top to fill the pitcher so our tea is very water-y..... and on top of that if you ask for the tea WITHOUT saying no water YOU GET MORE WATER AND ICE! which is more water-y AHHHAH ~ but I do agree on the matcha ITS SO GOOD! i personally drink mine with oatmilk, 7 pumps of white mocha, and light ice
i work at dunkin and i really strongly dont recommend the coconut milk refreshers bc it is pretty gross and mediciney like how she described! But i really do like the lemonade and green tea refreshers! Some people like to dilute the sweetness with some water and less of refresher concentrate! :)
I thought it was pretty good! Gonna be my go to fast boba fix in a pinch. You should try adding brown sugar and sweet foam to the London fog latte if you revisit this series!
Why did that sound gross before I processed it I was like ewww sweet tea with cream? It sounded like coke and cream idk why lol then I realized that is literally how you make tea 😂😂😭😭
McD's worker here! You can actually order for the cafe to put the ice-cream into your latte! You just need to walk in. There was a regular at my store (Australia) who ordered this. They were charged the same as the latte + cone, but it can be a little confusing, so try to order this when they aren't in a rush hour!
Every single time I've tried a tiktok starbucks "hack" it was nasty.😂 I'm staring to think the baristas just screw them up on purpose so we don't come back asking for more.
The mcdonald’s creamer tea hack tastes way better with the unsweetened tea ☺️ Also, for the starbucks brown sugar black tea hack, it tastes more like milk tea if you add milk or cream and not just the vanilla cold foam although I too am confused why you can’t taste the brown sugar 😂 They might have forgotten to do the full 6 pumps :/
I always go to Starbucks and order a Trenta iced black tea light water light ice 6 pumps of brown sugar syrup and extra splash of 2% milk. I literally only pay 3.75 for this!!! And it tastes fire!
Just wondering if the Starbucks drinks would have tasted differently had you stirred them? I've noticed on several occasions (especially with non-dairy milk) that all the syrup ends up at the bottom of the cup, so your last sip is just sugar overload. Would definitely be interested in trying the matcha one though!
I’m not a fan of the coconut milk refreshers or regular refreshers from dunkin’ but I really like the lemonade refreshers with the boba. I usually get a peach lemonade and then the sourness kinda balances out the sweetness. It kinda depends on how they make it cause it’s different each time (ugh) but it usually works out:)
Can’t wait to watch! I do remember last year when dunkin said they were releasing popping boba, I never got to try it then though. The dunkin refreshers normally start out super sweet and towards the end it gets less sweet. Not so sure if I want to try the dunkin one this time 🤔
This is my first time seeing your channel and omg you live in my city! It's so cool to see that cool people live in my city 😂. Love the video, i'm actually curious to try them out myself just for fun but I don't think i'd be able to stop going to my fav boba shops. nothing beats authenticity
I’ve tried the dunkin boba, but I got a strawberry lemonade with strawberry boba, and it’s way better tasting in my opinion, but thanks for letting me know to not get the other flavors, I’m getting actual boba from BOBA WORKS and I’m getting the brown sugar milk tea with boba. My cousin recommended it to me, so wish me luck!
I 100 agree with you in the DD sweetness my mom brought some home the strawberry one for me and it was soooo sweet she even watered it down and it was still really sweet
Hey girl, The sonic blue burst is blue raspberry and the Boba is green apple like she said in the video. The ocean water is blue coconut and sprite which in my opinion is gross but it’s actually a very popular drink just saying because I’m a sonic worker.
@@kaseyleeann5682 Thanks for the info- I haven't been to a Sonic in years and years, but as a kid I used to get so excited about getting an Ocean Water slush now and then. Brought back some funny memories.
i work at starbucks! our baristas get the black iced tea with no water, substitute oat milk, brown sugar syrup + like 1-2 pumps of white mocha. the brown sugar syrup pump is half of a regular pump so if u want a stronger taste, i would go for 2 extra pumps of brown sugar.
I love Matcha, and I don't know if you like mint, though the iced green tea latte with two pumps of peppermint and two pumps of vanilla taste lowkey like a mactha mint ice cream. I definitely recommend you try it. 🥰
I work at Dunkin and we mix random stuff together all the time😂 one of my coworkers made a large sweet tea with 16 milk and 4 caramel it’s really good but super sweet
You should try the chai latte at Starbucks venti with two pumps vanilla syrup, four pumps brown sugar syrup, oatmilk, and light ice. It’s my favorite 😍
Am I the only one here who figured out why the drinks weren’t sweet: they were sweet but where she just had a very sugary one as in the first one she couldn’t taste the sweetness like when you drink something sweet it starts to lose sweetness as you drink it then when you stop for a few minutes and taste it it goes back to the original sweetness
From someone who works at dunkin the refreshers are just unsweetened silk coconut milk and a juice concentrate the original refreshers taste a tiny bit better bcuz it’s made with green tea instead of a “milk”
Dang I've wanted to try the McDonalds boba hack for the longest time but never got around to it -- I'll have to add these other ones to the list too! Disappointing to hear that such an *established coffee company* couldn't get those drinks right but I guess you win some and you lose some 😅😅 next up we're going to see Taco Bell make boba with their baja blast lol
LOL, that McDonald's Sweet Tea with creamer hack back in high school.. those were the days. It was great for a budget-friendly milk tea back in the day. Would I do it again? Not particularly, but I would do it for the nostalgia. The soft serve addition is news to me. The coffee with soft-serve just sounds more like an affogato but with extra cream from the coffee. LOL
I used to work at starbucks and i loved to get peach green tea with water base no lemonade, no sugar cane and 3-4 pumps of brown sugar depending on the size
As a starbucks barista, I can tell you if you order a black tea sub water for vanilla sweet cream and brown sugar syrup, it tastes just like milk tea, you have to try it!
For Starbucks I would recommend stirring, I have noticed when you add syrups to a drink that doesn't already have it in there they tend to just put it all at the bottom of the cup and pour everything over it without stirring.
best hack is go to starbucks ask for a grande earl grey with half the water and ask for a venti cup filled half way with ice, whole milk, and 4 pumps of classic (or whatever syrup you want to try). once the tea is done brewing, pour it into the cup and tada. an earl grey milk tea
I’m a Starbucks barista, I recommend getting a grande iced black tea with no water, add half and half, 3 FULL pumps of brown sugar, 2 pumps of vanilla, and cinnamon powder shaken
So I worked at Starbucks in Canada and I feel like something must have been up with the tea (maybe they brewed it too strong so it went bitter and the sweetness was kind of neutralized?) because and iced black tea with milk instead of water and brown sugar syrup (4 pumps is standard in a Grande, hence why the first drink didn't say 4 pumps!) tastes almost identical to all classic milk tea I've had, just a bit more watery!
Just a tip!!! Sometimes when you drink sweet things and then drink another sweet thing after the second one you taste won’t be as good as it was supposed to be!!!
For the boba drink at Starbucks, Ive gotten a grande iced tea with 1 pump vanilla, 1 pump brown sugar, no water, and a splash of cream!! Its not too sweet but it definitely tasted like milk tea to me!
the funniest part of this video was when meimei was in the drive thru and the cashier was waiting for her to leave . 😭 but the dunkin popping bubble tea is so gross . the macha latte from starbucks is literally so good ! i luv your videos meimeii
Btw here in the middle east milk tea is very very different and the orange Starbucks drink looks like it was meant to be that type of milk tea here we call it chai haleeb (tea milk) its a hot drink. I drink it two times a day all year long. Here is a recipe for one cup/mug. For 1 cup: 2 liptons black tea bags 1&1/5 tablespoon of rainbow evaporated milk 1 tablespoon of sugar And 1 cup of water Steps 1. get water tea bags and sugar and let it boil 2. Once it starts boiling add rainbow 3. Put it on low heat and let it simmer 4. Let it boil a few times but be careful since it can overflow 5. Once it turns into a rich orange color you can stop 6. Run it down a strainer to take out small tea speckles Additionally you can add saffron at the end
star bucks brown sugar tip- Ask for 4 pumps, then ask for a separate tiny cup of syrup you know those lil maple syrup cups from fast food places? your aiming for that amount. if you can see it being poured it tends to taste sweeter bc you can see how much is in it. also even in hot drinks they just??? don't stir????? so that's also something to watch out for.
I love your channel so much. I have been trying so many new flavours because of you. Yes, I used to either get brown sugar boba milk or oolong tea with boba. I was very intimidated by the menus because I feel as though they have kinda become even more complex over the last few years and I couldn’t really keep up but now I love experimenting with add ins and now trying your favourites have helped me try new things. Although… I am still a bit partial to the classic brown sugar boba milk :D
I get the black tea with no water sub whole milk with brown sugar syrup and sweet cream cold foam at Starbucks and it tastes exactly like boba milk tea to me, but you have to keep in mind that the brown sugar pumps are half pumps so you have to ask for twice as many as you think you want.
Personally, I LOVE popping boba. I come from a family where no one likes boba, so I got introduced to normal boba much later. I would always go to frozen yogurt places and get popping boba. I then tried normal boba and FELL IN LOVE! ❤️ ❤️ I understand not liking popping boba tho
Some tips: mix the Boba (not really Boba, more like thin liquid pouches) with lemonade. My coworker's personal favorite is mixing the black iced tea with lemonade, few shots of raspberry or blueberry, then the Boba balls. Said it tastes like an Arnold Palmer drink. Really delicious.
Have you ever tried any of these? Also if anyone has any other milk tea/boba hacks from fast food places pls comment below so we can all try them!
I think i will have tried some. (edit after I watched some of the video- I have tried the dunkin drinks with the boba, and i honestly hated it with the boba. Your description was spot on. But yes I really didn’t like it. It was super sweet!)

❤️ ❤️ I understand not liking popping boba tho
i wanna get your straw soooo bad but my mom is like “you’ll break it!” 😭💀
I literally got ding tea right now because of this video and her other videos. I LOVE BINGE WATCHING HER VIDEOS!!!!
Aw thanks so much Kassey!!! 💕💕💕
I rewatch your videos all the time!!🥰❤
I had the Starbucks matcha one ( I do 2 pumps of brown sugar) it’s now my go to Starbucks drink it’s so good !
You should get the same green tea Starbucks one but add sweet cold foam !! It gives it a creamier taste and I get mine with soy milk! Sooooo bomb!
Keep the liquid cane sugar that goes in the iced black tea plus the flavors you choose and it'll be sweeter
my milk tea Starbies order is : Venti Iced Black Tea Sweetened with Whole Milk and 4 pumps Brown Sugar Syrup
The black tie with black tea instead of cold brew at Peet’s coffee tastes so much like milk tea!!!
