Just a PSA regarding Bartender (which I have used for years) but the original author sold the app onto a company that seems to have a rather "sus" history. Also the the recent update seems to have added a fair bit to the application size without additional functionality leading to some thinking a bit dodgy may be going on. Might want to look for alternatives for that such as Ice or Hiddenbar.

issue for me is no iCloud Keychain Password sync
as a Windows user switching to Mac like me, Arc is great only because all the other browsers on MacOS behave worse and more buggy than on Windows, but I really hate vertical tab btw

Windows 11 is trash, in my opinion. I like Windows 7 Ultimate. Peak windows in my opinion with XP a close 2nd.

I've been using macs for coding since 2015 and as nerdy as I can be, but figuring out, that "desktop" hot corner actually shows every hidden icon there, while in Shortcuts such feature is not available, let alone holding command without any hint, that this will help...shish. You did an amazing job. Made my setup 1% better. I was just going to the desktop folder, but this is much better.
Love you for this bro! The productivity of my device skyrocketed already, and I'm loving my m3 pro even more. Basic things like this on windows was taken for granted, but I enjoy mac so much that it hurt not having some of these natively. God bless!

I have a microfiber cloth and this tech spray bottle that works pretty well

the setup is nice but does not fix the issue that osx has, which is slow transitions
with yabai and skhd for tile management you can jump with shortcuts to whatever window is required
of course, on top I have alacritty as my terminal with neovim and tmux ready to multiplex and loaded with lsp extensions
big recommend if you want to get hacky with your setup

Re. the single thing on your screen at once. I quite like Stage Manager for this tbh. You can also group things if you wanted to do the side-by-side tiling with two apps.

Great tips. I've been using Alfred so long that that's second nature to me now so Raycast didn't work out as well for me. I also use Brave rather than Arc, but most of the other tips I use a lot.

Tell you what, I've been using my MacBook for four years now, and I'm looking to get rid of recent file display when opening Finder, and I didn't know this could be done under the Finder settings... I'm so embarrassed. I can confirm Arc is THAT good. Great tips by the way!

hey man - first day Mac user here! I found this video which has helped a lot; switching to a new operating system for the first time in my life is quite something lol. I tried to run the commands for removing the delay while keeping the animation with hiding the dock automatically, but the animation doesn't work. It's instant now but I can't get the animation to work anymore, restoring defaults also doesn't revert it back to what it was like before. I'm using an m3 pro, if that has to do anything with it. loved this video btw :)

What's up, i put the commands you showed for instant dock reveal. works like a charm but not whenever I want to scroll on a page it's a lot less smooth. Is there a way to only make the dock appear fast without affecting something else ? Thank you very much and great video

Hi, I ran the code on terminal and it took out the animations completely. I tried the restore code, it' s still not making a difference. How can I bring back the native sliding up animation on my dock?

This happens with me a lot on my S22 Ultra. Can't seem to figure it out.
