Definitely a tough call. I like the included pump for bigger fish that like fast flowing water but the intake pipe sticks out farther than I like. The fluval does 90% of what this one does but for the added versatility the Finnex has if I was only getting one I'd probably go with the finnex. Either one is a great option though.
@@vladtheinhaler93 I would probably go with the fluval then. The finnex is a little bit bigger but not by much. You can also get the finnex with a light included so if thats something you think you would like its another added bonus to consider.

Very detailed and informative...excellent video thank you for helping me set up my refugium 😀
Thanks for watching and subscribing! Are you setting it up on a freshwater tank?
I like the pump they added into this kit seems like it has a good amount of flow on the low setting for most applications.
The multiple options is definitely a nice touch.
That looks pretty good as well. Thanks.
Glad I can help!
Nice review 👍
Thanks!
Would you prefer this over the fluval

@@IansFishRoom If I already have a suitable pump-head, would the Fluval then be a better option?
