There's a steamsoundsupremes enhancement pack which includes really realistic sounds, really realistic steam effects and modified textures
I know this will be dumb, stupid and weird but I like steam locos cuz I like to watch the side rods spin, it's so satisfying for me :D. I also like them cuz they come in different shapes and sizes

Just a little tip, when starting out, you should ease the regulator open only a little bit. That way you don't end up losing all your pressure. :P
