Did anyone notice Mallard's buffers when Oliver was programming Duchess or Hamilton? Also a train did roll into the platform at about 40 mph, it was pulled by Duchess of Hamilton's sister, Coronation, when she broke the British steam speed record by going at 114 mph.....
in a 20 mph zone.

Did you check to see if the computer was running the train up to the speed limit of the line? You were "speeding" but the computer may not have been, maybe a 45 mile per hour limit?

On Train Simulator I did a speed test on the settle to Carlisle line I had two a4s (mallard and Dwight d. Eisenhower) The first engine to do the test was mallard all of the engines had 5 coaches. Mallard did a speed of 124 miles per hour. Then the second test was really weird i used Dwight d. Eisenhower from Ribblehead to Appleby with a top speed of 131 miles per hour.
