I gave up on this game, later game progression slow to a crawl if your playing solo with no help. Couldnt manage to complete hell by the time I gave up. Playing for hours just farming around the game with my fingers crossed that a boss would drop something useful, only to walk away with no progression was not fun.
I want to start playing this game and it appear the sorceress is the best to start because she can do everything. All elements attack, AOE, single target, and the most important, teleport.
Ok so for my very first countess fight in normal she left the room and came to the side room somehow? I killed her without realizing it was her coz I was just dealing with all the other mobs. Then in all future runs coz I was farming for runes according to the leveling guide she was in the center back room and never left it.
The other classes and builds are slightly better but melee and bow is still expensive and several tiers below almost any sorc or hammering. FoH pala, trap assa, shout barb are fine. My first ever elemental druid is so much fun , I don't mind the slower pace.
@@drakekingblackheart5481 good! So you play paladin? 4 sockets paladin shields drop from act4 normal. Only other classes have to wait till hell for a monarch, the first non paladin 4 sockets shield.
I didn’t know it was worth farming the bosses after killing them once per difficultly. I always get ton of great items first kill, but I tried a few bosses a second time n just got a few lame blue items every time.
Or cube it with ort rune chipped gem, move the unused gold through stash to lower gamble chars (gull dagger level 11 char costs about 1k per dagger example.)
I like doing cows with trap assa and use a few more skils than you. First of all I use mind blast to turn a few cows, so they keep in a bunch clubbing each other. Then I use some fire bomb to kill a few. Fire bomb is great, because it gets synergies from every other trap. Once a few are dead, I use cloak of shadows as it lower the phyiscal defense and death sentry also does partly physical damage. Then I use death sentry to kill the cows. On a side note, would be gret when you show how lightning javelin of the ama kills the cows if you would not use Infinity when talking about beginner builds, thanks. I have yet to have an Infinity once in any of my builds after 20 years of playing. When you only have 1 or 2 hours per day, the ladder is over most of the time once I got 2 Ber runes. Overall what I was missing from the video was to see, how you could survive with low gear. I saw for isntance that you did Andariel pretty easily. Yet when I am doing her on hell, I get hit by poison once and am down to 1 hp instantly. Would appreciate if you explain how to farm that you then use gear that is optainable before farming. Otherwise it is a catch22 problem. For instance I like to farm with a sorc, because she can teleport. Mostly I go orb meteor, as orb does not need so many synergies, I can put most points into fire, an I can still get fire and ice immunes to half hp with 1 point in static. BUT gear is a huge problem. In the beginning I buy a 2 sox 2 handed staff in normal act 1 or 2 and put Ral Tir (Leaf) into it for +3 fire skills. For an armor I start off with Tal Eth (Stealth) maybe upgrade later to Nef Lum (Smoke) if I do not find a viper or goldskin. For the helm I will probably start off with Ort Sol (Lore). Then I buy some mf gloves in act 2 and mf boots in act 5. Most of the time I will find tals belt at some point, probably some nagel rings and an mf amulet with 20-30 mf. How do I start from there? My problem is that most guides just tell you to just put a few ber runes here and there, and then decorate your wall with Ists. Well I do not have that stuff. So how to start with low gear and farm to find better? Thanks.
Sadly there is no "guarantee" that the countess will drop a rune. 3 hrs of farming her the other day and several runs resulted in no drops. This is ver 1.5.73090 P1 Hell.
Don’t fall into the countess trap. I farmed her for days for a Lem rune and never got one. Just move on to Andariel and other farming spots and trade for low level runes. It’s much faster than farming countess.
@@chrisstewart4549 Yes I know. I've D2 on and off since D2 vanillas release. With my latest D2R character I cubed all the runes I got from all my runs over all the days (about 4 days) I farmed her. Stoked for starting ladder after work. Here's hoping they make runes/gems/keys stackable in a future update and add some exciting new runewords (teleport on a helm anybody!?).
I understand why you give different class options for each farm, but realistically, you just should not be farming things like Andy Meph unless you're a Sorc or you already have Enigma. Things like Hdins or Lightzons have far, far more lucrative things they can be doing to work toward their Enigmas or Infinities, instead of doing walk runs through 2 levels of Durance. Perhaps the better way would been something like "This farm is recommended for such and such class/builds" rather than going through all 7 classes for each farm.
The entire time Diablo 2 has been a game every single video is just like "Get Enigma and infinity" No. I get those so very late because not everyone uses forum gold. That's an end game build. Not a starter or normal farming build.
Exactly. I did acquire some methods that speed runners use and just use the tried and true early runewords, ignoring regular mobs in smaller groups, not picking up every blue item.
My boy Rhykker didn't mention about bug that was left in the game so that everytime you kill Andy she has a loot table just like you'd kill an end boss every time for the first time. Basically after you kill her during your quest, port out (use yours own for safety, there's extra portal that game spawns for you), then go to the Warriv and let him take you to the next act. Don't chat with any other npc's before that. Save & Exist and you're good.

At least prior to Runewords, sets, rares, and uniques had more importance to the game than just cool items you see before they get vendored.
What is the earliest lvl n resistance% should I be at to do my first uber tristam run? I have a lvl 82 Fohdin and a lvl 85 Meteorb Sorceress.
I gave up on this game, later game progression slow to a crawl if your playing solo with no help. Couldnt manage to complete hell by the time I gave up. Playing for hours just farming around the game with my fingers crossed that a boss would drop something useful, only to walk away with no progression was not fun.
Did anything change on this guide now ?
I want to start playing this game and it appear the sorceress is the best to start because she can do everything. All elements attack, AOE, single target, and the most important, teleport.
Ok so for my very first countess fight in normal she left the room and came to the side room somehow? I killed her without realizing it was her coz I was just dealing with all the other mobs. Then in all future runs coz I was farming for runes according to the leveling guide she was in the center back room and never left it.
So Sorc and Hammerdin are still the meta... Is there any new viable builds around ?
The other classes and builds are slightly better but melee and bow is still expensive and several tiers below almost any sorc or hammering. FoH pala, trap assa, shout barb are fine.
My first ever elemental druid is so much fun , I don't mind the slower pace.
How is his map always the same in the countess runs?
He is playing offline. It never changes
Can you still make grief in non ladder?
yes you can
Wow a lot of changes used to seeing stone of Jordan’s for Uber Diablo and the player count
Best way to get cow king pieces? The barbabrian, especially since the new update
its still sad Assassin is still stuck on Trap Meta... they need to fix or buff even a little martials arts tree
Where to farm with singer barb
hey where can i farm for a shield with 4 sockets i know where i can get an easy 4 socket sword but not a shield
Level 85 areas with 0% find items. Or armor rack in the countess tower.
@@JosephMagicFlower so i have to play on hell
@@drakekingblackheart5481 you should, 4 sockets shields (open sockets or shields you can socket by cube or quest) only drop on hell difficulty.
@@JosephMagicFlower found a 4 socket paladin shield in nightmare thats atleast a spirit for my paladin
@@drakekingblackheart5481 good! So you play paladin? 4 sockets paladin shields drop from act4 normal. Only other classes have to wait till hell for a monarch, the first non paladin 4 sockets shield.
Great video thx.
I didn’t know it was worth farming the bosses after killing them once per difficultly. I always get ton of great items first kill, but I tried a few bosses a second time n just got a few lame blue items every time.
Why do you need to be efficient on single player?
Note it costs like 40 k to repair tele staff so pick up items to sell if you've got room peeps
Or cube it with ort rune chipped gem, move the unused gold through stash to lower gamble chars (gull dagger level 11 char costs about 1k per dagger example.)
Thanks!
Barbarian Bow build = best build

Thanks.
Andariel glitch worth doing ?
Fixed in d2r is my understanding
No longer a thing.
@@Rhykker it's fixed but drops always stay as if they were quest drops so you can view it as if she'll always be bugged automatically
Sadly there is no "guarantee" that the countess will drop a rune. 3 hrs of farming her the other day and several runs resulted in no drops. This is ver 1.5.73090 P1 Hell.
no, don't do Lk runs online lol, SP at p5 or p7 is fine but not online at p1.
After seeing your leveling guides and this I really want the Lightning Amazon to be my next character :)
She's really fun! Though act 3 in hell is a total clusterf*** of lightning immunes....
it is best not to use a lightning Amazon until you get Infinity it is really painful in hell without it
java without infy in cow is insane :D my m8 always goes for that last ladder 13 ber and 4 jah runes in there :D
Don’t fall into the countess trap. I farmed her for days for a Lem rune and never got one. Just move on to Andariel and other farming spots and trade for low level runes. It’s much faster than farming countess.
You do know you can cube up runes? I feel like you could get a lem in a few hours easy
@@chrisstewart4549 Yes I know. I've D2 on and off since D2 vanillas release.
With my latest D2R character I cubed all the runes I got from all my runs over all the days (about 4 days) I farmed her. And they all summed up to about 2 Ko runes. I never got any hell quality rune dropps. I might as well have farme her on nightmare.
And this is more or less about the same experience I have with farming her from all my past runs. It is so increadibly rare for me to get anything worthwhile from her hell runs.
I'm lvl 87 javazon. No top gear. NONE. I can do cows players 3, arcane sanctuary, pindleskin, boss pack north of waypoint 2 act 5. Not much else efficiently until I get better equipment. It does clear the screen fast. I will say I spent my second respec in order to max out valkyrie. Merc died way too often, expensive too. Every so often in runs you get these demon spawns fast as the wind who take you out in 2 seconds. The Valk gives a buffer. Maybe not what you want if you want things more intense/speedrun. I just wanted to play and have a safety so I'm not losing experience all the time.
They are using Maphack on the video. The maps are already showing the next path of travel.
It's single player, not maphack
@@Rhykker Ahh that makes sense now. Thanks for the clarification.
FOHDIN is my new Infinity :)
Where did you farm to start?
just be ready to make enter/leave hundreds/thousands of games to get good loot. (and you still may not get much). Pro tip, just make a blizz sorc and kill andariel period
Diablo 2 is the best arpg ever made end of story...
I just play the game until act5 as paladin melee on hc on normal. Then I start again
Chaos Sanctuary 🙏
I don’t like the mid game thing. I like the run to 80 and then I do another class. Solo offline p7.
Dude, catch your breathe after this video. High velocity (and quality) guide!
Thing is most of video you see on the internet is sp where you can farm spot on your own and ramp up to player 8 to get more loot the get all the gg realy easy make a guide for newbie about it when the new guy dont know better .. theres an hell of a difference between p8 and p1 and the fact not one cant ninja the loot
Seriously how are you like farm Countess...? Because I'm Lvl 65 Assassin as a martial arts and I have trouble in Hell just in Blood Moor. Wtf am I doing wrong?!
nice guide :) but i feel the staff of teleportation costs way to much to repair and you can also get it in act 2 once you hit the right level it is also kinda easier to reset the vendor in act 2. A inventory full of charms is by far the biggest thing i don't like about D2 i need more free space or i feel weird and they need something like a mid tier item to help Lightning builds
you can repair it for free with ort rune and chipped gem
@@SentryxVoid Yeah and as if you can easily get ort runes.
@@sermerlin1 You can? huh?
Doing countess runs and playing through the game will yield at least some spare Ort runes I imagine, so it helps.
@@thegimlichannel Once I have twenty I usually stop picking them up to I'm down to 10 again no stash space. How do you get hr's if you don't kill countess how do u not get a crap ton of orts killing countess on hell.
Phoenix shield makes pindle far more efficient
I kind of wish they would fix the mercenaries ai so that they are not as dumb as they can be
But Player count only counts if you play Offline right lol? xD
Your playing raises my blood pressure so much. Especially at cows. You take soooo many shots from cows. I play only HC so I could never. It stressed me out even knowing your not in HC
Skip all that and do chaos runs with a fohdin, 5 min runs on crap gear
Stoked for starting ladder after work. Here's hoping they make runes/gems/keys stackable in a future update and add some exciting new runewords (teleport on a helm anybody!?).
ANN-DAR-IEL.
Theres no AIR in her name
Countess is no option..allway cold immune -.- --> Blizzard Sorc
My boy Rhykker didn't mention about bug that was left in the game so that everytime you kill Andy she has a loot table just like you'd kill an end boss every time for the first time.
Basically after you kill her during your quest, port out (use yours own for safety, there's extra portal that game spawns for you), then go to the Warriv and let him take you to the next act. Don't chat with any other npc's before that. Save & Exist and you're good.
probably because it doesn't exist in the game anymore
Tf you mean the countess never leaves the room she spawns in, lies lol
your the man I need help how can get my level up to say 85 so I can works some guide magic can I do ladder for fast levels how I join a group? I just started a sor I like mages big main in wow and eq2 so I got D2R and I am poor I dont want to beg for money I am 65 and disabled I mention as it slow do my playing the game but I am ok so now this is my only toon I will get too 99 with my sor how ty for reading my question and let me move on with this post!
Count ain't been dropping anything good.
How to farm items if you are over 40 with a job: Open Hero Editor and add them to the offline character ...
at that point may as well not even play. just throw the game away make a folder on your desktop called diablo 2 and make a text file called i win...
@@mercyoface8421 Decades ago I spent thousands of hours grinding in D2. I will NOT do it again in D2R. Instead of grinding I actually play (and enjoy) the game from act 1 to 5 with every class.
Watch the video at 0,5 speed, impossible to take in all that information with your speed of talking
Have fun goofing around with fancy MF builds and such. Meanwhile I'm gonna go straight for that cow javazon and will make a ton of bucks through runedrops, just like at d2r launch
this game was fun as a kid but nowdays it is lacking hard
I agree, lets grind the same spots over and over so we can get the ONE rune , to keep grinding! Its a laughably boring end game; its all about farming & looking at your pretty character who can now grind better >< The most fun D2 has is level 1-45, seeing progression in a character, then eventually beating the game on Hell, once if you can get there, is quite satisfying but its all down hill from there.
I would play Diablo 2R more if I could actually just buy extra stash tabs like PoE. I hate making mules and managing all that nonsense.
same, this exact reason is why I ended up stopping playing around december after playing since release. Ladder brought me back, but the same inventory management headaches with mules and what not are such a shit experience it is hindering my enjoyment of the game again.
I dont play it solo...id like to play with ppl.more fun then having /player 7...

Old old news lol
30 mins…. Just to say literally 10 words. Joke
If this was a new game, sure. But you’re retelling 25 years of history with a filler.
Imagine playing offline lol. Or softcore. Noobs.
Imagine having common sense and manners.
