Starting a new school can be a bit busy and chaotic, but it will settle down to a working routine. Remember that it is chaotic for the teachers too, so you are not alone if you get the feeling of being overwhelmed, confused or insecure. Very normal for EVERYBODY at this stage. Good luck! And you are so right about your hair color. Looks spot on you!

You can really tell throughout this entire vlog how excited and happy you are with your whole upcoming life and its really encouraging. I've gone through a bipolar diagnosis and a divorce over the past few years and watching you and your cats gets me through the hard days. You look beautiful with red hair and green clothes. I wish you the best in art school, you've got this!

Thank you! I sadly didn't find an equivalent English recipe for this stew I made... but I used pork loin and mushrooms for the base and then cream/milk and soy sauce and spices. Oh I hope I'll have a great time in art school, I can't wait to start!! 🥰💚

Hi Kimberly. I wish you the best of luck in your new endeavor. I know you will do great. You are such a strong, beautiful, kind, smart young lady. I love the red hair on you and green is very flattering on you. I’m not quite as functional as you. I have severe bipolar 1 disorder with psychosis. I actually have lost almost all my hair and so will have to wear a headscarf soon because I overheat easily and I don’t think a wig would be comfortable for me. Even the scarf won’t be. It’s one of the many things I have lost to this disease. Sorry I sidetracked. I’m really looking forward to your next vlog. All the best always.

You are wise to be freezing some meals before classes begin. I stay exhausted while classes are happening and having meals I can throw in the microwave are life savers for me. My method is have half for eating now and in the refrigerator for reheating and half goes into the freezer in individual meal portions. Also, I love the red hair!

You got this Kimberly. I'm sure you will do fine. You're going to do something that you love, I don't know how it is for you with schizophrenia, but when I work (I'm a musician) It helps with the psychosis. There are nothing in the world that helps quite like it (except the medication of course) I've lived with schizophrenia my entire life. I developed it when I was 3 years old. I went two decades unmedicated and untreated, I managed to do a lot of things. I had to drop out of school years ago, but I managed to hold numerous jobs. One of my previous jobs I would work up to 10 hour shifts. In my eyes, as long as I want to do something and I know 100% I want to commit to it (like you with art school) it turns out okay. A lot of the fatigue you feel by the way can be fixed. I don't know if you hear voices and hallucinate daily, but I do. Every day I feel like I do not have energy to do anything, my body feels heavy. The irony is, whenever I'm being lazy it only makes it worse. It only gets better when I push through and I challenge schizophrenia. Remember it is all about control, every decision you make (big and small) can give schizophrenia more or less control. The mindset you have ''I will not quit art school no matter how psychotic I get'' is the right mindset. Yeah, sure you feel exhausted and all.. but you're up and about. Take every small victory as the right victory, the ultimate goal to a new, better future. I'm sure you'll do fine, stress is fine. It would be a worse thing if you felt more psychotic before school. So if schirophrenia is stable, and all you feel are normal feelings... then trust me, as long as you're all in on going to art school, you'll do great! Good luck. I agree, you look good in red hair. Keep us posted.

Everybody is anxious at the start of school, but there is a kind of deliciousness about stepping out of one's comfort zone and doing the hard/impossible/challenging. Once you get settled in the routine you will have that cold Swedish air to enjoy on the way to class. I think it is fair to say that people like us your internet friends are probably as excited for you as you are for yourself.
Yep when you look good you feel good. They were telling us in school that pretty people go farther in life and have it easier, even though people like professors know it's happening, they still can't help it and give the good looking people more attention than the unfortunate regular people lol. I would say that you have an unfair advantage right there :) I feel like you are a bit of a self-promoter and that coupled with your good looks will enable you to be self-sufficient in your art career.
Even after you get out, you'll still have to keep up with your education for the rest of your life because we all do. School is nice, but what it really does it teach you how to teach yourself. Already you have an in-born artistic sensibility. For instance, the opening for this video really caught my attention and I know I'm not just speaking for myself. The only problem I see will be that effing schizophrenia because you have everything else in spades, good looks, talent, poise, you name it. And you are a very nice person, and people like nice people. It is still going to be hard, but if it wasn't hard, it wouldn't be worth doing.

Firstly, a big Congratulations to you on entering Art School! Cannot wait to see your vlogs on your adventures there. I love your hair, and yes I like the less brassy red, some gals go for the fire-engine red and its just not attractive. Yours looks very natural, and silky smooth, I love it. Hey Kimberley. I didn't even finish the video, but did you know that there are a few nutrients that are linked to neurological diseases and disordners, or rather the lack of them? There has been a discussion which I followed (because I was vegan) and the things I learned just opened my eyes and I started to eat meat again immediatley. I have bipolar disorder, type 2, and I want to start working out again - which is an artificial form of stress that we give our bodies and mind. And therefore I want to supplement even more than I do right now. And btw, I don't take medication for my bipolar; my psychiatrist and I agreed on that cos we both think that I don't need it.
Long story short (I feel like my sentences didn't really make any sence): I can imagine that nutrients like carnosine, taurine and others can have a positive effect on the brain and helping with "healing" schizophrenia. I also follow the videos from Lauren from Living Well with Schizophrenia.

p.s.: If you consider taking supplements, make sure it's a good brand that checks their supplements for harmful substances by an independent laboratory, and also checks for the right components and the amount of the nutrients that are supposed to be in the pills. One brand I know from Austria does that. They are called Watson Nutrition. Any they are also shipping to Sweden, which I just saw.
