Personally I bought a Puma, great car.
Do you still like the car? Anything wrong with it?
No sold it, but probably the best small car I've ever had.@@brobiv2452
My wife and I both loved the car, unfortunately 2 grandkids and a dog were two much for it or would have still had it.@@brobiv2452
Puma looks more like a hatchback than a SUV.
That makes no sense, show me a small SUV that isn’t a hatchback
@@jimblack8104 other small SUVs look like SUV or Crossover at least, but puma looks more like a big hatchback.
I have a three month old Puma and I love it to bits. My previous car was a Peugeot 308CC. Having driven it for 14 years, driving the Puma is just heaven. I have not driven a Juke but would a go so that I can compare. Love my Puma tho!
Test drove both cars and preferred and purchased the Juke.
Great review I have the 125ps same model and colour and its brilliant car, glad you liked it.
Personally I would go for the Juke. 👍✌
I did. Love it
I'm contemplating the new Juke as my new Motability car.
I'm looking at the Tekna+ DCT as I want a care with level 2 autonomy which is standard in the Juke Tekna and Tekna+
I'm also really into my music so I'm looking forward to trying the Bose headrest speakers!
Aye I test drove the juke and liked it that much that I bought a Puma X✌️✌️✌️
@@sbomorse Very good choice. I have had it since August 2020. The sound system is really very good. It was the main reason I got it.
The Juke for me
I enjoyed watching the Video Comparison. Both Models offer something different for the buyer
I really like, you gave all details/information we need. Pl. make a video on emergency break. How fast response of car with respect to road conditions/ situation. Hope you are clear.
Good luck my friend.
The Puma is much better.
I have a ford Puma. It’s so much fun to drive
Me too. And I agree, it is surprisingly fun to drive.
Same here. ST line X first edition plus (full options). Driving always puts a smile on your face. A very good drivers car (with a very good B&O soundsystem!). The Juke's interiour was very disappointing for me. Felt very cheap. The Captur was very nice, high quality, but i didnt like the dashboard. And the T-Cross...well, a cheap dashboard for too high prices
Do you still like the car? Anything wrong with it?
I've sent my unreliable Juke back to the dealer and placed an order for a Puma.
Juke is definately more eye catching and very plish inside. After driving one I found the turbo engine to be really nippy. The presenter seemed a little biased.
Totally agree with you, it’s very clear.
Me too. Bought the Puma. Drives very nicely and packed with options.
Ford is on a bit of a roll at the moment. Fiesta, focus, Puma Mustang, Ranger, Bronco. Drivers cars that look fantastic. Well done Ford
Love the look of the new Kuga
The interiors of all those cars are a major design let-down. I’ve been a life long Ford fan but I just couldn’t bring myself to own any of those cars given I’d have to spend my driving time looking at such an ugly and dated interior!
It makes sense to have a drain plug in the boot of a ford…several fords I’ve had from mondo focus fiesta have always accumulated water in the boot. I’ve always had to drill a hole or two in the floor of the boot to ensure the water drains out…it’s not just me either friends of mine have had the same trouble.
Got huge savings for my juke here in Au bc the puma sold a lot more there's not much stocks less for a negotiable deal.
But if I can go back in time, I would have waited for the i30 sedan Elite instead 🤦
Great review. Just bought a Puma st-line off the back of it, in the grey matter colour with black contrast roof and dap. 👍
Do you still like the car? Anything wrong with it?
@@brobiv2452 Yeah it's a fantastic car. If your thinking of getting one then just do it, you won't regret it, it's just a joy to drive. 😀
anythuing you didnt like? how many miles can the car drive before you need to refill?@@mickmckay65
I like the Ford Puma
Having seen the puma I would certainly not class it as a suv, it's a small hatchback. I remember the original Ford puma and it was a gorgeous car.... Personally I don't like the external design of the puma... And that puts me off even taking it for a test drive. Currently looking for a small suv and
Wish they would bring the 2nd gen Juke to the US.
I wish they brought the puma mhev to Australia
I will never buy Ford again. After EDGE I have enough. Things replaced by dealer
1. Steering System
2.Bearings in the wheels
3.Rear lightbar 2 times
4. ABS sensor
5. Oil sensor
6. Door Paint
So Juke for me please.
You will end up getting the cvt issues worstly.
You have problems with ford so you replace it with junky Nissan? Sir I hope you’re not the one deciding which vehicle to buy for your family
Love how not having a spare wheel in the puma is sold as a feature. Don’t want a hole in the boot, I want a bloody spare wheel.
What about Mazda CX3 or CX30?
Do we actually buy a car based from a reviewer who just took the car for an afternoon drive? We better read reviews from owners experiences in the forum. And you will realised more problems with certain car models.
Just ordered the puma st in mean green colour brand new from ford with the 19 inch Magnetite machined alloys, should get it by September/ October this year can't wait,👌👍💚
Do you still like the car? Anything wrong with it?
@@brobiv2452 never got the puma st, they kept saying a date an changing it went on for 9 months an I had enough an got a jaguar e pace which I kept for about 9 months but changed it in September 2023, was a guzzler on petrol an was costing me £530 a month on PCP finance, traded it early for a diesel jeep renegade limited, great car an very economical 60 mpg plus an best so far is 83 mpg, happy now and saving £150 a month on fuel and another £150 a month on what I pay for car on hp finance so cars mine after contract ends, £300 a month better off so happy with my jeep 👍 greetings from Scotland 🏴😁
I wonder why the Puma doesn't get the Titanium X trim level in the UK?
@Simon W But you can get a Titanium in the UK, just not the better specced Titanium X
@Simon W No not in all markets or all models, Kuga has both Titanium X and vignale
The puma is hardly an SUV, the standard focus has better ground clearance, its just a slightly different designed fiesta.
Good review, although I don't think the Puma is best on class or even an SUV, as mentioned the ford focus has better ground clearance. I also don't think the juke is best in class at the moment either. However in saying that, I do have to be fair and the Juke, it sells in its millions for some reason. My partner had a 2013 model tekna from new and loved it, and to be fair again only drove it a few times, it had lumbar support and it was a surprisingly decent drive for this sector. Also for the full 7 yrs they owned the car it never ever had a problem and passed every MOT first time! They have just traded it in for a new model Tekna+ in the black and red pack- really looks great and the spec list is really impressive, alot more expensive models in this competitive sector have no where near as much tech or spec. Here's hoping for another 7yrs if not longer of trouble free motoring.
Just had a test drive in both ,the puma was definitely faster than the juke which I found sluggish ,I went for a 21 plate st line…one thing I would say the ford garage were not really willing to bring the price down much, the salesperson attitude was these cars sell themselves we don’t really come and go on the price ,seems to be the way now take it or leave it,,,,anyway I collect it next week so hope it’s worth it,…
Ford stopped selling sedans and did compact suvs like this. As a standard im not mad
I would be interested in the new Toyota Yaris cross or Toyota ch-r as it has a bigger engine than the Juke and Puma. Ford says that it’s mild hybrid technology is best in class with good fuel economy and class leading emissions well how come the Toyota chr has a bigger engine, more power, better fuel economy and lower emissions. With Fords mild hybrid technology, you can’t travel in electric mode like you can with the Toyota chr.
If I had to choose out of the two cars, I would choose the Nissan Juke as nissans reliability record is better than ford. My advice would be to Nissan is bring out another engine, even carry the 1.3 mild hybrid engine from the new Nissan qauasqai. Nissan would make a good car much better.
I took the new Nissan Juke out for a test drive last January, I did think it was a good car but my only fault with it was the sluggish engine. To be fair, I did think it was good around town but as soon as you entered a faster road, it struggled to keep up with the traffic and in order to keep up with the traffic, you constantly had to change gears which was annoying. The price of the new Nissan Juke is quite expensive too but I wouldn’t mind paying that amount of money if you got a better engine or at least more of a choice of engines to choose from.
The first Juke was good, what are you on about?
Most car reviewers hated it for some reason.
I don't know why puma is small suv...its not high seating position
Why dont they sell the Puma's in the United States? People are itching for cars with better gas mileage.
Duke drivers should try a puma
The seating in Nissan vehicles is the bugbear for me. I had a qashqai and had to get rid because of the back pain it caused.
But what's wrong with a Fiesta or Focus? Or Micra or Pulsar? Unless you need the higher car for your aging hips there's no point in these
Here's the point...I want an SUV...I don't want a Fiesta or a Focus & I certainly don't want a Pulsar or a Micra. Hopefully that's a good enough explanation for you & you can keep your stupid judgemental opinions to yourself!
@@stewartmac1 These are front wheel drive crossovers. If you want an SUV you need to go up a class or two to an X5 or a Discovery. They're at least actual 4x4s. You're falling for the lifestyle marketing I'm afraid.
Are there higher potency Pumas coming.
Fiat 500x for me, great car.
Where is the seat arona or Hyundai Kona or Mazda cx3 or Vauxhall mokka or Nissan Qashqai or Suzuki Vitara or Volkswagen T Roc or ford ka Active or fiat panda 4x4 or Renault captur
The juke has 19inch wheels. That's why is lacking in comfort department
Great review, but please, sit on your hands!
Totally undecided, have a Juke at the moment, and thinking of replacing it. Test driven the Juke automatic and the Puma, but feel Juke has the edge. Also test driven the Mini countryman 🤔🤔🤔😂
What did you decide on? Im on my second juke deciding if i should go for a puma
Still undecided....
Im going for the puma. Honestly its a brilliant car in the st line x spec
@@deniznarli2535 Hi, I have ordered the ST LINE X Vignale, auto, 155hps, Agate Black. 😂☝
@@nigelandrews5617 Nice i really odnt like the juke honestly both interiour and exteriour wise. puma much better especially with the pano roof. Enjoy it man
I've got a juke
Puma has got a small fuel tank so you'll still be filling up frequently the TCross has an even smaller tank. The skoda kamiq has a 50litre tank and is far more practical and spacious.
Well. I can drive from Adelaide to Melbourne on one tank. So? Not sure what you on about
@@JustMe-pq7je well not sure how many miles that would be, but the mpg is OK but the actual tank capacity is only 40 litres which means filling up more often.
I prefer the old shape
Juke
I wonder if there will be full ST and Nismo versions. The old Juke Nismo was crap but it was relatively popular
An st is coming
Puma ❤️
Puma is best
Is there any particular reason why these British journalists always compare vehicles with german brands? Their interiors are no way near to Peugeot or with Renault ones.
Nissan is a Japanese brand
They compare them to German brands because German cars are usually quality, whereas French cars, although nice to look at, are quite unreliable, especially in the electrics department. I know, I had a Renault and it was a nightmare just to open a window. 🤣
When did Nissan become a German brand? LOL
No one speaks of it, but i prefer Opel Mokka X
Probably because it's not on sale anymore
@@shroomyesc New model Mokka is out, - just. Won't have to wait long... Soo much better looking than the old Mokka.
R.
This is one of those comparisons where you realise you don't want either of them
Juke.
Ford puma
The Puma is cheap because it is built in Romania.
For a supposedly excellent car the Puma doesn't seem to have some issues. You said it was cramped in the back and cheaply made in places. This test seems much closer than the results suggest. I would choose the Juke because it's higher quality and more spacious
If I hear/see anymore about the puma mega box where the spare wheel should be, anymake can have a mega box if get rid spare, on looks puma is overgrown fiesta and look like a catfish with that grill
Hangisi daha iyi
Juke for me
Nissan juke always ♥
Nissan juke great 👍 I love
Puma Swede the best Puma
The comparison isn't fair, the Nissan Juke is a larger car.
The Juke wins for me.
No it foendt
I still wait for explanation of "old Juke wasn't a good car"...if you state something like that in first sentence you should explain in few sentence whats was the problem...because old Juke was selling like cakes...
Moose test, Puma best!
G 0:12
Renegade, thanks
The puma engine is absolute crap doesn't matter what horsepower they both have too many issues and you will spend more time in the workshop than on the road with the puma. The juke although not as pokey still the more reliable engine.
Nissan more reliable than ford? Bwahaha looks like someone fell for the “Japanese reliability” scheme
@@joskjj3625 shows what you know , it's not a Nissan engine in the juke it's a Renault engine .
I like the Puma as it doesn’t look like an SUV. The Juke is very ugly at the front.
Puma has very silly not to mention dated looks, I don't care how good it drives. Besides, you make it sound like these are the only two choices that buyers have.
It's got a hint of the New GT
Rather not. Ta
Notoriously faulty, Ford ecoboost engine featuring 2 elastic bands inside the sump. NO THANKS. (And I'm a Ford man. )
eat something man!
I m being thick probably but, don't get your comment?
puma is not looking like a suv...... looks like a fiesta on stereoids
Security reason the juke, everyday multiple ford's stolen keyless entry
The Best small SUV is the new 2020 Peugeot 2008
Beats them hands down on design as well.
The puma is the best the 2008 is ugly specially the rear and it drives like a small SUV boring as hell
The Best is the Ford PUMA, faster, better handling, better moose test, better design, better capacity... And cheaper.
Peugeot is pricier. It's not comparable
Ford puma, the big brother of Nissan Micra.
Juke all the way 😃
We make Ford Puma at Craiova factory in Romania. I just hope Europe will add the highest taxes for all cars we will export to UK when ure out from Europe 🇪🇺. Stupidity have to be punished 👋😃
UK is huge market for Ford then less sales in general equall less production and thats looks directly at your pockets.
Punished for having a choice?
Sounds like your missing your dictator? Also if you stop selling to your biggest market you won't have a job, clever!
Very nice but wait til Toyota Yaris cross comes out. It will beat them both.
Not really, is just a Yaris higher from the ground and pretty ugly too.
Renault Captur is the best in class
Least reliable you mean.
I would say 2nd best after 2008.
@@thormaster06 2nd least reliable you mean
Plastic crap, like these cars
Only juke,ford only problems
And Nissan doesn’t have problems?
The Puma looks terrible. Those headlights make it look like some weird animal.
Like a puma?
The juke looks terrible the new 1 looks a little better but the old model is awful looks like something from space with them lights stuck all over it, Ford all the way for me
I think the Nissan Juke fell out of the Ugly Tree and hit every branch on the way down.
Hmmm I’ll keep my new 3 series
I had a 2 Series BMW and my new Puma ST Line X is actually better!
3 Series isn't even in the same segment...
Golf the best
Blark Dexture The Tech In the New Golf needs Improving
Jamie Pickles No you mean the exterior needs improving (mk8) the tech is okay
After.the focus
I would not go for either of these, both have horrid dashboards with stick up after thought looking iPad screens. Why are car manufacturers using this untidy way to create a dashboard. It looks like that the car was all but finished being built when they passed an Apple shop and grabbed an iPad and some blue tack from Smiths on the high Street and stuck it all together in a hurry. Apart from the fact that they are both ugly anyway.
Grannymobiles
Nothing from Nissan is very good, or even good
Puma for me jukes.are.ugly
Neither. Both awful.
The Juke for me
