- Even though they've been taken down a few notches with the latest balance data slate changes, the Aeldari are still an absolute menace and pack a real punch! We can't really call this a new year new army video, but if you're starting out with the Aeldari and wondering some fundamentals of army building with the new points changes, this is a good place to start.
Chris has been busy painting up these lads for a long time now, but finally debuting on the channel we have the new house 2000 point army of the Eldar, facing down Tom's noble Imperial Knights in a 10th Edition 40k showdown for the ages.
Now, before we start, Tom's disclaimer of some outrageous rolling is pretty accurate, but there's a lot of the normal carnage and destruction to be had, as well as just a pinch of saltiness and anger in the mix. Nightspinners, Wraithguard and the Avatar of Khaine face down the indomitable Knight Lancer and friends. Let's see how board control and movement nonsense face off against a thermal lance to the face.

The Imperial Mecha look like powerloaders from Aliens and Chicken Walker Mecha of the Zentradi from Robotech. Like the color scheme. How many dice can you use for the matches?
They're great aren't they! The Colour scheme is based on House Gryphonicus, we have a few Titans knocking about all painted up in the yellow and blue - and Tom painting up his knights to match! With the dice having around 30-40 is a sweet spot normally, it's not often you end up needing more than that for a single round or attacks, but if it is just split the number in half and roll twice!

I did… the issue with switching between armies all the time. With my rolling I don’t think it would have changed the result
Guardians do not have sticky objectives the generate fate dice...
Wait Chris doesn't cheat! Normally... Let me check in with him to see what he had to get sticky, will report back!
Ah! We had sweep and clear for the twist in this game, so sticky objectives all around!
Am i wrong in thinking the Aeldari player can reroll a hit and reroll a wound, its not one or the other?
You’re absolutely right! Is there a rough turn where we messed up? Sometimes I think Chris held off for either the hero or the unit to use one or the other, as I think when they’re led by a character they count as one unit. Just a guess!
knights need their own game mode, get them out of normal play ffs gw. this game is an exception to the rule.
