    Yes.
    I was very fortunate to find one for sale after looking for several days online. An Ocean Blue 512GB/8GB Note9 in pristine condition. When it arrived three days ago the phone was in better shape than I could have hoped; it's practically indistinguishable from new.
    I gave my youngest brother my Ocean Blue Note9 two years ago and I realized that I was going to miss that phone. The Note9 is a very solid phone, still is very fast and responsive. I'd forgotten it has the 3.5mm jack making it able to interface with some older tech that I still use. Long live the Samsung Galaxy Note9.

    My Note 9 is pristine, who ever owned before kept it in a case thankfully. Didn't have much money (Xmas and all that) when my S8 died but still didn't want to get a new mid range phone, so when I found a note 9 that still looked shiney and new for £180 I snapped it up straight away!

    I ditched an iPhone 12 to go to my second ever Note9 about a year ago. I noticed how compared to that iPhone, this runs a bit hot (snapdragon variant), 4g is showing its age, and the camera isn't as good. Also the fingerprint reader is really awful and pretty much never works as a guitarist. But I'm still incredibly happy with the price ($220) and being back on android for open source apps, s pen, and the headphone jack. It still does everything I need it to, albeit with some compromises compared to today's flagships. Whenever I do upgrade, I don't think I'll be able to justify spending much more than this thing cost me since I now realize how little impact paying two or three times as much would have. The problem I might have is finding something that is a definitive upgrade with a stylus, 5g, and jack in this price range, but I'll worry about that when this one dies or breaks.

      Yeah, it won't be a comparable experience to a newer phone, like the 12 Pro. This is a phone from 2018, after all. It's still quite a nice device, and you got it for a great price 🙂

    I'm still using my Note 9, but thinking about upgrading soon. It generally still runs great as my one and only phone, though the battery life has gotten quite a bit worse. Even with that though, if I didn't have somewhat power hungry phone usage needs (like for vlogging and UA-cam video recording stuff), besides the battery the only other thing that makes me feel the need to upgrade is the fact that Samsung isn't providing software updates anymore. Having this phone for the last few years has taught me what a good phone is supposed to be. Unfortunately, that may mean I'm more picky looking for my upgrade. But I am relegated to the fact that I'll probably have to say goodbye to an S-Pen and a headphone jack, two things I don't want to say good-bye to.

I'm currently transferring data from it as I switched to an iPhone 13 mini (any other android phone seems a downgrade from the great Note 9, so I decided I might give Apple a chance anyways), but I still think the Note 9 is a great phone..the lack of updates is the deal breaker when considering keeping it, as I run most of my banking through my phone.

    Currently using it as my secondary driver! Because a flagship is a flagship! And it’s experience can’t be matched even if you get a latest midrange phone! The haptics, the curved display, the premium ergonomics and most importantly the S-Pen are the reasons I ditched a 5G mid range to go for it! Cuz my primary driver 14 Pro Max is giving that premium vibes as the note 9!

I use the S-Pen all the time, just while scrolling, as it is faster and more accurate than my fingers. The Note 8 is so similar that the Note 8 could actually be better, but it's fully obsolete by 2023. Why the hell didn't they just update this platform? I'm thinking about getting one in 2023,I currently have a A21s and this thing it's just shitting it's self in every app,even on UA-cam,I found a 6/128gb one for 199€,I have a 128gb sd card so the 128gb version would be plenty for me,do you think it is a good idea to upgrade/downgrade to a Note 9?

    • @TheHopelessGeek

      Well the Note 9 had no issues with UA-cam or other basic apps in 2023. So I guess you'd have a better experience

      @@TheHopelessGeek Yeah I thought the same,I also do some gaming,mostly Pubg and I saw it can handle smooth 60fps so that's good too,and what about the camera,the camera on my A21s is the only good thing about it lol,I'll miss the ultra wide camera tho😭

      @TheHopelessGeek  Рік тому

      Yeah, this one doesn't have an ultra wide sensor, but the main 12 mp one is amazing. 4k 60 FPS looks good too! All my videos from 2019 to 2022 were shot on that phone. 🙂

      Oh, well the battery has to be replaced immediately. The moisture message is regarding the USB port. When you go to replace the battery, check the port area and use a hair dryer to get rid of any moisture.
