Hello Cooper, new subscriber hitting the thumbs up on all your videos, Great info. and interview. I have been to Pattaya/Jomtien twice last year, can't wait to go back again this year and retiring there in 2 years.
Another fascinating interview Cooper! James is a man with a great head on his shoulders. Focused on his businesses and retired at 49, impressive! As I believe they say down under, "good on you mate!" On the other hand, when I look in the mirror, I have to say to myself......... "so soon old, so late smart!" lol James is a great example of what a man can accomplish when you're sharp enough not to lose half your stuff one or two times in your lifetime, if you catch my drift! Great lesson for young men today. In the mean time, this old goat is still looking forward to having a chat and a beer with you and your ever growing tribe in the spring. Take care, J.

Good informal chat with James as seen on several vdos beforehand as seems a good guy!! Done well to retire at 49…most of us wish we could do the same!! Fair play for living out your retirement there with so much to offer, much better lifestyle & less stress than here in UK. I’ll be in Jomtien asap!! 🤞🏻😎
Just spent 4 weeks in the Philippines and have been in Thailand for about a week. I am in Hua Hin right now and will be in Pattaya next week. Would be nice to see you and take you to lunch.

Seem like a gentleman. I have a question for him if possible. Can you possibly finance a big bike if your on a retirement visa there.. and are Deep sea fishing charters available or would it be more smaller locals to hire? Mustang GT. Is my favorite "extra" car but, I only could afford one lol. Nice interview.

Old cars look great. They are roomy. But bad brakes and shotty quality. New cars are cramped. Engine bay too small and quality is poor. All engines designed to crap out at about 130k miles.

I was in Phuket about 12 months after the tsunami and some of the stories that people had where incredible
I bet. It was the worst hit area in Thailand. Thank god they are only one in 500 year events

Unfortunately you can’t finance a car or motorcycle in Thailand on a retirement visa. Yes there are fishing tours available here
