In the second last question where the AI was at fault, we chose Option 3 but that did not ensure that such things do not happen in future. The option did not mention anything about how we should now tweak the algorithm and make it better to suit the specific purpose. Option 4 not only catered to this purpose but also made sure that people already hired continue to work (though even this one misses out on the unfair treatment of the deserving candidates who missed out due to AI's fault). However, it is more important to make sure that such things do not happen in future so I thought Option 4 was better. Please clarify?
I think from ethical point of view one should correct the mistake even at the cost of loss. Hence option 3. Also 4th is incorrect because you cant just let go of past mistakes without correcting it.(would be wrong with the candidates who were genuinely deserving) However I think in option 3 if they have found out the fault, its automatically clear that they will rectify it for future process.
In the last question, in B option how can Misha being junior to the head of the company 'make' him accountable for his recent decisions? Misha being the HR head doesn't have the powers to exercise authority over the CEO of the organization!! Pl respond.
