- amplitube.com/... - Late August 2022, IK attended the Endorse Expo, a private event dedicated to bringing brands together with Nashville's finest engineers, producers, session musicians, songwriters and studio owners.
The event was held at In:ciite Studios in Franklin, Tennessee and for the first time IK was able to put TONEX in the hands of a discerning group of artists. Taking a rare '65 Fender Princeton Reverb we created a Tone Model in the studio using TONEX Modeler, then let them test the model with TONEX Player on a laptop.

I never buy another IK Multimedia product again. After advertising that their products were at their absolute lowest price of the year, they literally discounted bundles by $100 RIGHT AFTER Black Friday / Cyber Monday. Then, they flat out refused to price match their own promotion even though the order had just been placed. What kind of company does that? Super slimy ...

Well, on what speakers did they test it? That's a really big factor. Especially the "Feeling" of the amp...

I'm shopping around for a multi effects board I hear a rumor you have one in the works, will it be coming out any time soon? I would rather have foot controls and be less resilient on needing a computer close by.
Will it be possible to load drive and amps from tonex in Amplitube? (Both in on preset?)

I have TONEX max and A5 max. Really enjoying both but I'm struggling a little with the workflow. In TONEX I tweak to my liking then save as a preset but then I can't find a way to see my preset within A5. Can you please offer some guidance with regards to importing a TONEX preset into A5.
Seems really interesting but if you want to run this as a live rig how do you control it? How do you turn pedals on and off or switch rigs mid song if you need to?
You can use MIDI control, and if you use TONEX inside AmpliTube 5 you'll have even more sonic options and great MIDI control.

Hi guys, if there are some nerds who would like to know more about this kind of amp "modelling" I posted a few links in my community section.
This technology is interessting. We use deep learning in a radiotherapie department to contour the organs at risk in the CT scans.
I’m not sure how it works... does recording through the Tonex into your DAW sound any different to using Amplitube software?
Put it this way... I’ve been hopping for some time that Kemper could produce a much simpler small unit without the amp profiler; there must be so many captures out there, and I don’t have an amp to profile. But ALSO to have stereo inputs for stereo effects.
to play can i use other interfaces or just ik? Because I'm waiting for the release so I can test it on my interface before buying.
To play Tone Models you can use your existing audio interface that you currently use for guitar, no problem.
I miked my bass rig like Tonex said and got feedback at lower volume than the walkthrough said. I tried the line out set up instead. Training gave me a popup: 'There has been an error. Training has been stopped.' That's with the latest update.

are those Princeton profiles part of the tonex max bundle?
These were ad hoc Tone Models created during an expo so they are not.
Will I be able to use the sounds in an Ipad app to perform live ? If I purchase Tone Max Will I be able to use in any device (Desktop, iPad, iPhone) ? Or just in one device ? I own Amplitube 5 max, with Tone Max can I open in an iPad for exemple like Amplitube 5 and put the pedals in front and in loop effects ?
You will be able to load your Tone Models on the iPad version too. Per the TONEX web pages: "Seamless integration - all your Tone Models sync automatically on all your devices" so you are good to go! Literally.

You will be able to use TONEX Tone Models in AmpliTube 5 which is currently only on Mac/PC. Note that the TONEX app is AUv3 so you can use it alongside other apps in iOS DAW apps.

Guys my amp. Is Ironball SE. It’s got direct DI XLR Output to my DAW. Do I still need a DI Box to be able to capture my IR?
i think if its a DI out, you dont need another.
