With all due respect to the other excellent singers mentioned in this thread and the rest of the video, Anneke doesn't need to be compared to anyone. She was there as it all started and will be dearly remembered decades after. She exists in a league of her own, sweetness and charisma without compare, immaculate tone and timbre and incredibly kind to boot. I'm glad I exist in the same years she does. Other generations had their Piáfs and what not. We have Anneke and her beautiful art.
