I saw Anneke in the thumbnail so decided to click as her work with DTP is outstanding. Wasn't sure what to expect with this band but pretty blown away, sounds killer!

Let the "more underground than underground" types bitch all they want about that comment. Anneke is a Goddess, and nothing can change my mind about that. Every time she smiles onstage. I hear the sound of hundreds, if not thousands of hearts melting.
Days go by and I'm still losing it on 11:22. I close my eyes and imagine hearing some ancient siren's song in the sea near the cliffs and no crew member can stop me from jumping overboard my galley.
Look out for: The gentle storm and Ayreon concerts as well then 😉. Amazing what she does. The drummer and bass gitarist are also in those bands so you can't really go wrong!
Why do I believe Anneke brings so much depth, passion and love to what we die for every day: Metal!! My heart melts when she sings and smiles! I will reincarnate a million times and marry her every single time!

Looking after so many time after, looks like the bassist is using some distortion to simulate. In the solo at the end of Time, you can see this better.

I just find this band/project terribly meaningless, not offering anything for me, it's even close to aural torture (for me). The songs are terrible/boring (for me), the playing is boring (for me), the sound is boring (for me), the lyrics are meaningless/boring (for me), the outfits are terrible (for me)... I love both her The Gathering and her solo stuff though. I'm generally not much into metal, though I also sometimes like stuff from that genre, but not this here. Sorry. xD But if you like it, enjoy! :-)

@@wiley85 sure it is, many bands are using samples. Doesn't mean that the sound of the rest (which is definitely live) isn't superb.
