I think what makes Onslaught more unique and fun is how random it is. Something different and with a more roguelike approach than a standar survival map.
I'm not saying that doesn't need to be reworked in some way.
Yeah, I guess that makes sense. At the very least they should make every map play like Onslaught Containment where you can go wherever you want. I didn't enjoy being forced around the map within the circle in regular Onslaught.

We need zombie chronicles 2 to happen in bo6 zombies after the last season. Just like in b3.
I think its insane to me that we have to go back to 10+ year old games just to expirince the good maps...
And havieng a newer modern blackops game with nearly all maps from its past would be a BIG selling point for bo6
They should make some MP maps into Zombies maps.

I want 6 real, new Zombies Maps. But during Season Reloaded updates we could get small survival maps. Look at the Vortex maps from MW3. Those would work perfectly as small survival round based maps. Put some perks in, pack a punch, box, wall buys and barriers and you will have new content every season.

1. 6 round based maps
2. An outbreak mode IF they have time. I want round based to be the focus.

I think a more fleshed out and revisioned outbreak could be a lot of fun. Remember, Cold War is a Covid game so I see how outbreak could have been affected. They really need to bring a side PVP mode into zombies. Grief specifically. It was nice to have some player competition in bo2 zombies. Last thing: I think onslaught was great specifically for leveling up your rank and leveling up guns. It was also nice to play zombies on every multiplayer map. Considering that treyarch has been adding a bunch of extra modes instead of just having round based maps and the fact that this is probably the longest developed cod game of all time, bo6 zombies may just have the most content we’ve ever seen in a zombies game. Besides bo3 custom games.
I really hope survival maps come back. I usually just want to be able to play, PAP, and kill zombies without having to do a bunch of steps. We haven’t really had any survival maps since The Tortured Path in WWII unless you include Classified which is debatable.
I want the mp40 to be a zombies wall buy

BO2 - downfall of zombies, rise of Blundell zombies, could also be called the experimental zombies era.
BO3 - basically everything they learned from BO2, and built on it, plus custom zombies
BO4 - more story eccentric and detailed maps

Guided EE is credit to WWII and the quantity/quality of the side EE were in BO3/Infinite Warfare.

The thing no ones talking about that i really hope comes back are directors cut from iw and the diffuculty settings from bo4, to people who havnt use those additions in those games i highly recommend going back and playing with them
Directors cut was great for doing matches or easter eggs in a short amount of time by increasing the amount of points you start with, removing the perk cap, giving you 6 quick revives instead of 3, making all weapons in the box pap, and making it so you dont gotta do the easter egg to unlock double pap
the hardcore difficulty in bo4 turn that game from relatively easy to an absolute nightmare by making enemies faster, reducing your hp, increasimg the number of zombies per round, increasing the amount of point and xp you get, and removing the hp cap of zombies
Imma take a guess 4 maps total, as well as shitbreak 2.0. Post launch is gonna be rough for this game since they’re working on cod 2025

I'm pretty sure treyarch isn't working on cod 2025 so ide say this'll probably have a more traditional dlc season, probably 6 maps, some cool super easter egg and some side game modes
I'm going to be realistic and suggest that 6 Zombies maps is the max anybody should expect. Two launch maps and four post-launch. Anything beyond that would be a genuine shock given these Call of Duty's cynical seasonal/yearly release cycle
This is a live service game, the release of content is staggered over the year even when the content is ready to release. They also may be forced by Activision to delay maps and weapons until CoD2025, which is an alleged Black Ops 2 direct sequel

I’d want 5-6 round based maps MAX. Going off the state of zombies for the last 7/8 years, I’ll take quality over quantity any day
I think we need an updated nuketown zombies. That was the best map to improve at zombies in BO2 we need another map like that

5 small multiplayer survival maps as a bonus like town.
And onslaught is the ideal world
If they do onslaught again, i hope we can just use the map to play zombies, and not forced into a little circle, though, with no ee's or anything, it will get old quick, id love it if they put like 1 or 2 zombie ee's in each multiplayer map, but its not really something i expect
i wouldn't mind if bo6 had gauntlet was fun
on release ill expect at least a lot of content on each map and like the minor upgrade on past maps. I'd like to see a combination of cw upgrades and have to extract/import like mwz but make them feel earn-worthy, I didn't like people technically cheating to get them. I hope they bring other modes even Gauntlet from bo4, with Gubblegum having a cooldown and have them almost the same as schematics earning, and later or post-game bring in remastered maps even if they did a zombie chronicles or by-game.

It would be cool if BO6's Outbreak had zombie exclusive maps, like s Open World map that takes place only in the Dark Aether, and it has previous locations from WaW-BO4, like Revelations.
Sucks that there's no outbreak for bo6 this zombies mode is going to be dry without it
They haven't said there won't be Outbreak for BO6, there most definitely will be, probably later during season 1, we haven't seen much of zombies, so by August, we will have more information

First of all yeah I agree, Having a map each season should kinda be what we need. Even if it's a mid season release, like I can see the first DLC being mid season because we got 2 launch maps plus maybe something else to hold us over but I think it's fair to say we would get a new map each season or mid season and I'd be fine as long as the content suffices like in between downtimes yk? Also about Dead ops, I'm pretty positive the reason why there was black ops 4 assets because supposedly if I remember correctly DOA 3 was only made by like 1 dude, or a small dev team but specifically one guy wanted to keep it in. It might be the creator actually but he managed to pop out a new one with so much big changes so they of course had to port some things to keep it fresh while also making it like the old one fs. But I can't see it coming back til BO7 or yk whatever is next year

Infinity ward and Sledgehammer are incapable of capturing Treyarchs vibe, gameplay, story all of it
Treyarch SHOULD be the only ones making zombies and IW/SH need to find their own side modes to thrive.
Ww2 war was fun and MW spec ops was too
I'm not sure if you know this but Treyarch made MWZ and Vanguard Zombies...
IW and SHG have both only made 1 Zombies mode each (Infinite Warfare and WW2)
Raven made Exo Zombies
Infinte Warfare was VERY close to replicating and in some cases exceeding in Treyarch's zombies.
I agree on the 6 to 8 but BO4 isn't a good choice to bring up because that game was Round Based Zombies only and we still don't know if the rumors of Outbreak/Other Modes are true although there was another image added to the files for some Hub Portal thing in Zombies. Onslaught or Survival Maps for sure needs to be a thing because being able to kill zombies on the MP Maps with a Special every few rounds was a lot of fun and helped for the camos.
I think onslaught should return. It’s pretty easy to make, it is basically 16 survival maps, and you can always add the new maps to it

I think six new maps is acceptable, as long as new modes are introduced to the game. I think that having some (not all) multiplayer maps getting the MW3 survival treatment would be good. Season reloaded is perfect for releasing survival maps.

Not really, assuming bo6 won't have outbreak (which I wouldnt be shocked by cause of its very mixed reception over the past few years) it'll likely have 6
If they do Outbreak they should do three tiers. Fortune's Keep is T1, Vondead is T2 and Rebirth T3

There really is NO need or want (imo) for another Outbreak mode in BO6. If they even have that on the list of shit to make for the game, it will bogart all the love and resources from regular Zombies.
Onslaught is good for challenge, i think maybe we will have the maps locations revealed on the map intro in Vanguard : Mexico, Egypt , Iceland and Greece. We will need to collect things to match up something about Project Janus. I hope to see Dead Ops Arcade Chaos Continuation at least with Atlantis map and others creative ones.
Dont forget dead ops is actually only made by 1 or 2 people some hating hand like Jason blendel Jimmy zielinski even David has

Well you have your original 6 and plus zombies chronicles so yeah we will have more than 6 zombies maps. They just need regular zombies back no levels prestige no Easter egg telling you where it is or how to do it. All it needs its box camos and rank. This is why zombies is trash these days.
