What country’s cuisine should the moms try next? 🌎🌍🌏
Austria! Sacher torte is amazing! 🇵🇱🇵🇱🇵🇱🇵🇱🇵🇱🍫🍫🍫🍫🍫
East African cuisine most definitely
Although it's still US, maybe Hawaiian food/snacks!!
Nepal
Russian.
As an Egyptian, the food looks so cold and really bad cooked, they need to try it from Egyptian chef
Bad but not thaaaatt bad
Absolutely agree! Especially the hawawshi, they did that hawawshi so bad, it doesnt have the crunchy charred texture of the local bread and its crunchiness. :(
Agreeed
As an Egyptian, I totally agree with you, we need a rematch and an Egyptian chef to cook the food!
Ikrrr
Falafel actually is originally from Egypt and it spread to the rest of the Middle East. In Egypt we make it with fava beans, in the levant region it’s usually made with Hummus ( chickpeas). 😊🇪🇬
Still, hummus with ful is by far better than falafel. Egypt Falafels are king.
I agree, I’ve had the other type of falafel but I prefer the Egyptian one more.
@@bar4804 Wait, we don't put any hummus in falafel in Egypt.🤨
@@yousam3821 no I'm just saying I like ful and hummus or ful madammas more than falafel lol
Also it’s not called Falafel in Egypt it’s Ta’meyyah (6a3meyyah) lol
I'm Egyptian and I loved this! I always thought Mexican culture resembled our culture, so it's no surprise the food also bridges that huge geographic gap. The mamas are super sweet and remind me a lot of my own Mama!
You should hire a better cook, though. Seems like almost all the food was undersalted😢
Lol how are Mexican and Egyptian culture similar?
They definitely need a new chef. lol
@@lshani. Go read a history book.
@@Amghannam such an intelligent response.
@@lshani.not similar more like parallels. The most populated Arab speaking country vs. the most populated Spanish speakinf country.
What bothers me with these kind of video concepts of trying other cultures food, is that the food always seems to be below the average quality of execution so they aren't getting the full experience
The fact that they thought KOSHARY has no taste… whoever cooked definitely didn’t do the best job because how…
Commenting on my own comment to say I’m actually making Koshary today at home and to the moms y’all are invited!
Exactly because I live in Egypt and the koshary is SO GOOD who every cooked it did not do they're job
I'm 100% sure they'll like the dishes more if they were authentic and eaten inside egypt.
As a egyptian food looks really cold and weird looking but i am happy that u guys do an video about egypts food! ( i am really proud u did a video about our food also!)
the younger lady was my favorite. she was funny
Throwing shade at Rachel Ray 😭🤣Love to see it, more vids of the mom’s reaction to her pls 🙌🏼
I love how we always want to add chili to everything!
Gotta try it from an Arabic chief, and fresh. Oh and falafel in a sandwich, with tahini all around it is so dang good
Food brings us all together
basboosa would be a more accurate dessert for egypt
And sometimes they even add vinegar with onion in it, and a little bit of pita bread
As an Egyptian, the falafels doesn't look like this here in Egypt.
The Chile jalapeño soda lady 😂😂
It’s really hard for Egyptian food to turn out good so it mostly turn out better when it’s cooked by an Egyptian mother
hummus?hummus?humerus? wheeew i can relate🤣🤣🤣
The chicken shawarma is more of a Syrian/Lebanese dish that only got popularized in Egypt because many Syrians migrated to Egypt after the Syrian civil war
shawarma has been popular in egypt since before then, syrian immigrants did bring their shawarma and make it more common in egypt but there's a local type of shawarma which is different and older
Im Egyptian!! Love to Mexico❤
Funny thing. I'm Egyptian. First time i had cactus i thought it was just kinda like milokhya. love Mexicans😊
Egyptian food on top tbh❤❤❤
dude the food looks cold and plasti-ky...the first lady is a VIBE tho!
I like when people talk about egypt😅😅
FRENCH NEXT (if they haven’t yet if they have, maybe Russian food (that was like another one I know people prob haven’t requested))
Their comments are valid bc not anyone can make these foods excellent tbh
The pasta one is supposed to be savory. Some like to eat it cold but not for me
The falafel is supposed to be crispy and fresh
It would be nicer if you made the bombar more crispy too
Not her calling hummus humerus 😭😭😭
THE PASTA DIDNT HAVE ENOUGH BECHAMEL
Oh the first plate hurt my heart. It's not falafel-- it's TAMEYA!! lol
The macarona bachemel my mom makes it soo much better and the koshary without the sauce or the crispy burnt onions 😭😭
That was fun.
try food from morocco next !!!
I'm Mexican and I love Morocco. We're very very similar. I'm moving there soon
@@perrofuentes1134 oh wow ! that's nice to hear, i grew up around Mexican culture. the kindest and most hospitable people! if you don't mind me asking, what moroccan city are you moving to?
@@tiktok123hehe7there have been many Moroccan immigrants in mexico lately so I made many friends.
i am thinking Tetuan. I thought about Europe but I'm going to give Morocco a try first
I’m Egyptian and the food looks really cold and tasteless they should make an Egyptian mom make the food!
Do Lebanon next!
Hahahahaha this made me laugh so much. Egyptian food looks amazing! Were the pyramids white? Yes I saw it on (insert a conspiracy channel). But yes they were white!
If the falafel is dry, something really went wrong !
Pissed egyptian here..the falafel isn't supposed to be that dry, the maracona bashamel is supposed to have more bashamek, and shouldn't be that brown on top, the koshary is supposed to have more of it's salsa and it's garlic sauce, the shawerma is syrian not egyptian... I have beef with the chef
Por fin llegué temprano. 😊
The mamahs should try edibles
YAAASSSSSSS
Has LuLu ever liked so much stuff before? It's not as fun when she isn't blasting something.
try Tunisian 🇹🇳 food next ❤❤
Who is the lady with the tattoo’s and glasses.. I want to see more of her she seems cool af
Yesss
So cool
First off the food looks like its been left out for days.. and second the chef doesn't know how to cook. U cant say its bland or its has lack of seasoning that's what they all about .PERIOD . Appreciate your honestly tho.
I have Falafel and it's really good. JMO.
Las aceitonas 😂😂😂❤
Try iraqi food it’s very delicious 🤤😋♥️
Never heard of this kalwasky before either wtf 😅
we don't eat koshary without the tomato sauce
I’m kinda sad they didn’t eat the real stuff I’ve seen the stuff y’all gave them I’m not Egyptian but arab but their food is so delicious but y’all lack seasoning
If the falafel is so dry, something has gone wrong.
haha I wanted to write the same.
The food looks cold. Especially the pasta
I was gonna say, it looked quite dry! :O I mean, I would have still eaten it, cause it looked good, but yeah, it did look dry and maybe a bit cold? They need a new chef.
I think it was probably waiting in the studio a bit, maybe even reheated.
Dry falafel means you f*ed up
I’m Egyptian !! They needs to try my home made food , done right
They should hire you as their chef! You'd do a lot better than the one they have now.
I was thinking the same, I'm not Egyptian but had some good Egyptian food and it's really good.
انا عيزا اجرب الاك بتاعك
اهلا!
You need to learn diction.
Respectfully, the cook didn't do a good job. At all. I'm not Egyptian but I'm very familiar with it, and it should be much better than what they tried.
I was just gonna say that i'm Egyptian and I can tell just by the look that they didn't follow the receipe well 😂
I’m Egyptian and your so right omg
As an Egyptian man, I am so glad to see this episode
I think the food could be better tho and the seasoning as well, maybe because it wasn't too fresh or maybe a different cook might be better for this episode
But generally, very great episode :D
Egyptian falafel should be crispy on the outside and fluffy in the middle, if its dry, then you made it wrong. Macarona bashamel should be more creamy. The casing for mumbar needs to be crispy, you should hear the crisp when you bite into it, not leathery. If your koshari is unseasoned then its your fault, The garlic and tomato sauces need to be seasoned well and full of flavor. Cook the food right. Wrong bread for the Hawawshi. And finally, camel? Really ladies? lol
"Lacks garlic or salt" or "It's dry" are NEVER words I would ever hear being used to describe Egyptian food! :D I feel like the food wasn't made by the best chefs. Egyptian food is rich with flavours so I am surprised to hear some of these comments tbh.
Exactly I’ve tried all these and they are really good
As an Egyptian, all the food is seriously poorly made. I'd love for them to try the same food again but fresh and made by actual Egyptian hands. I love that they liked most of the food and I seriously love and admire how much Lulu loved the food. I've always liked Mexico and it's culture and Mexican food is just amazing to me. Mexican and Egyptian languages even have similar words for example we call olives "Zatoon" for plural and "zatoona" for singular. All the love from Egypt and I wish you all the best! We love you!! ❤️❤️❤️
Lulu saying “I should have been born Egyptian” is how I feel about the Mexican culture! I love everything about Mexican food! I’m Central American so I guess we’re cousins yall 😂🙏🏼❤️
This is a cute comment lol 🫶🏼
"Los mexicanos nacemos en donde se nos pega la gana" Se mexicano!!
I'm as white as mayonnaise, and I love everything about Mexico. I love the food, music and I celebrate Dia de los Muertos. Mexico is like my second home
Lulu is my spirit animal I watch these hoping she'll be in it every time
No we're not cousins. Central Americans have nothing to do with Mexicans.
Do Palestinian food next!!
🇵🇸🇵🇸
Since they did Knafa they might as well!!
They gon have to sleep for days after the msakhan😭😭😭😂😂
Most are taken from Egyptian cuisine
hahahaha @@Rania-vh7wg
OMMMMGGGGG FINALMENTE
I'M EGYPTIAN AND I'M SO HAPY ABOUT THISSS
Egyptian food is amazing❤ i will always defend kosari😂❤
Me too I am happy I am from Egypt
Mexicans are just the western version of Egyptians :)
Love from Egypt 🇪🇬🇲🇽💙
they are not western more hispanic , western culture is in Europe and US , canada , Australia etc ..... mexico have very different culture and unique , i can say mexico is on top of all hispanic countries in everything !
Mexicans are the only culture that is still native American
Egyptian accent is the Mexican accent of the Arab World for sure
@@ramifridhi4038how are you gonna say Mexican is on top of all hispanic countries in everything? That is disrespectful and not true
❤
As a middle eastern that was the saddest looking Chicken Shawarma Ive ever seen, but Im glad you liked it!!!
Why does some of the food look dry or like it was left out in the cold for too long? :( Egyptian food looks delicious normally, but I feel like the chef messed it up. Falafel's shouldn't look as dry as that, right?
As an Arab American who grew around a lot of Mexicans it makes me happy whenever they try our food!
are you catholic or orthodox?
born again but from an orthodox background@@rabikhan589
U from Socal? 🌴 Haha
no norcal bay area@@Largepro21
As a Mexican I like Arab girls
If Lulu likes Egyptian food, I know I gotta go get some!!
I am half Egyptian and half Cuban. This video was very well done.
You are an Unicorn 🦄☺️
IM SO EXCITED TO WATCH!! I’ve been requesting this forever😂 i’m Mexican married with an Egyptian and we live in Egypt and I can’t wait to see their reactions😝Yalla beena! 🇪🇬
That's amazing! What a mix of strong flavorful foods both your cuisines have, you might blend each other's traditional food with ingredients from the other culture. That's awesome! My uncle is Peruvian and my aunt is Venezuelan and they used to make good food, lots of potatoes ❤😊
Yes! We always mix and match our food🇪🇬🇲🇽 it is difficult to find Mexican products here in Egypt but when I find tortillas we are eating tacos non stop 😂🌮 I feel really blessed to have these two amazing cultures as part of my and my children’s lives☺️ something I noticed is we eat many foods in the same ways, the dish will just have another name. For example we Mexicans eat huevo a la Mexicana which is just eggs with tomato, onion and jalapeño here in Egypt they eat shakshooka which is essentially the same thing. They also eat beans with eggs like us haha and we both eat A LOT of rice 😅
No eres mexicana
Thats amazing!! I’m Mexican and my boyfriend is Egyptian (: I can’t wait to visit his hometown in Cairo someday!!
@@perrofuentes1134 me conoces o que onda? 🤣 soy mexicana-Americana con padres de Michoacán. No nací en mexico si es lo que quieres decir.
I am Egyptian and i grew up with Mexicans and I'm so happy this video came out, although I am a bit disappointed since some of the foods here I can tell were not made in the traditional way
I love this channel so much. It’s what makes UA-cam an amazing place
Thank you! 🥲❤️
I had no idea Egyptians loved pasta so much. That one dish that just looked like a bunch of different noodles looked pretty good.
They like pasta, but honestly, dishes with pasta are not their best dishes. Rather bland. Foreign influences. Like macarona bechamel is basically Greek pastitsio.
@chrisel4349 that was my first thought--"pastitsio!"
However, I had something from Saudi Arabia called "kabseh"(sp?) That I think is all over the middle east, and loved it! Had pasta that looked like vermicelli
It's not really a common Egyptian Cuisine ingredient, no. Especially not Penne or Linguine 😂
as an Italian seeing the pasta made me happy lol
@@chrisel4349Egyptian pasta is not bland , these chefs didn’t make it good lol
The lady with the Tatts is very knowledgeable about Egypt so far, I love that 🇲🇽 ❤️🔥
Palestine! They have a slightly different style of knaffa I would love to see las mamas probando, considering they liked the Egyptian style so much!
Palestinian kunafa is so good! 😋
Yesss!! Kunafa nablusi is the best type of kunafa 😝🇵🇸
My favourite 😋🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸
As an Egyptian i know the food is good i think it wasn't prepared well so they didn't like much but if they went to Egypt and tryed it they would love it
Now I need to see where there's an Egyptian restaurant near me!! Great vid!!!
Why you guys don't do Salvadoran food 🇸🇻🇸🇻 Los Angeles is home to the most largest Salvadoran community in the U.S.
Coming from someone who's Cuban 🇨🇺 like Salvadoreños are the largest central americans in the country
And in 8:58 i also thought that it is a camel but when the said it is and eagle i was like WHAT then I remembered the flag and btw i am egyptian
Lulu: the Sahara desert cuz I saw that on The Mummy😂
most of the food isn't done in a perfect way ngl so i get if they didn't like it 😭
LOVE seeing mamahs try new foods! 😊😊😊😊❤❤❤❤
They should have been offered the Sharama on pita bread.😋😋
Ful medames is AMAZING! 🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🇪🇬🇪🇬🇪🇬🇪🇬🇪🇬🇪🇬
The ladies complaints are valid, whoever made them the food must’ve not done a good job
Lulu is just like us!! Watching Unexplained Mysteries 😅😂
This isn’t Egyptian falafel it is Arabic falafel which made from hummus but Egyptian falafel from beans and a lot of green vegetables with garlic and onions
Great video but none of these look like they were cooked correctly! There needs to be a redo but with more authentic recipes or cooked differently!
I agree with Lulu!! I call hawashi Egyptian burgers 🤣
Lulu really appreciates the food and knows the majority of the answers.
That looks like the worst version ever of egyptian food, well maybe except for the Koshari… invite this mommas to Egypt and we’ll treat them to real egyptian food
Did yall order from a one star rated restaurant?????
Mo Salah! Mo Salah! Mo Salah! Running down the wing.
“Mo Salah la-la-la la-ahh, The Egyptian King!”
Lucy's hair this episode 😍🔥🔥
They should have made them try ful! That’s my favourite dish from Egypt
The falafel shouldn't be dry 😭
Love the mom with the glasses!!! I'd follow her anywhere!
As an Egyptian i think this food is very poorly made. Koshary doesnt have salsa or chilli or da'aa (garlic vinegar flavour). And the falafel shouldn't be dry.
no, because im arab, not egyptian but i have tried all these foods, and i assure you, the falafel is NOT dry! if it is dry then its not cooked right, and the bechamel didnt have enough of the white sauce, idk what they call it but my mom when she cooks it, it is a LOT more saucier. and the mulukhiya is not pronounced as “mulu kiya” its mulu - khi - yaah. And you cant NOT eat it alone! you are crazy if u do, probably with rice it would taste better, and i know you guys dont really know the pronunciations but koshary is not pronounced as ko cha ry, its kuu shaa ry. And it looked so dry.. my mom’s koshary is mostly paired with rice, not the spaghetti only, chicken shawarma that I know is put in like a wrap, not ingredients one by one!.. this is NOT shawarma, more like a shawarma BOWL which i dont think exists, or its just because i never tried it. and the shawarma I know doesnt has rice in it?! more like shawarma chicken, some sauces, vegetables, and i dont know.. pickles? not that. and the kunafa was actually pronounced right, but a long a would make it sound more right, more like kunaa - fah. i only excluded the foods that i do NOT know, and im to lazy to do a whole research, im arab so egyptians might correct me in the replies lol, but these foods are popular in saudi soo.. yeah.
You need to get rid of the one who is cooking Because WHAT IS THAAAT .. that's actually disrespectful for the Egyptian kitchen.
One of them sounds so irritating, I can’t imagine her husband or sons or daughters can stand…. Noisy and too much comment as if she was a good cook. It’s not competition, knowing foods from other countries is the opportunity to know other cukture not basshing them. Just say you do not like it, that’s enough. I can’t stand people commenting food like shit. Homeless people are more grateful.
