I do like that Branch is the only troll in the movie that actively enjoys other types of music besides pop. Like nobody can just bust it down with reggae and k pop hearing it for the first time.
Also why do the pop trolls know gangnam style, that's technically a k pop song
If I had to guess I would say it's because it made it on to the pop charts here in the US and even got a lot of radio play there for a while
It's still part of Pop.....Why else is it called K-*POP* as a Genre lmao xD? English speakers may not understand a damn thing, but it's Pop regardless so. KPop just feels more Dance-like than western pop I guess

Fun fact: Barb’s dad was actually voiced by Ozzy Osborne, and the girl who voiced barb said in a bts video that she was actually really nervous to cover his song bc Ozzy was in the room while she recorded it :)
I really wish we saw more of the Funk trolls because visually their world and the music was amazing!
+The Rebecky The Funk troll sequence was one of my favorite parts of the movie! I actually cried when I saw their history play out. ;w; It was so beautiful.
They definitely look like they know how to have a good time as well as chill..I feel ridiculous for not getting that tech are like mermaids but didn't catch that they were underwater🤣 like how stupid could I be!.. I mean I got it after the first dozen times (my 3 yr old loves Trolls)

The country troll that sang “Born to Die” was voiced by Kelley Clarkson that’s why it was so amazing!! If you want another incredible movie about musical strings than I highly HIGHLY suggest you watch Kubo and the Two Strings. The movie is claymation/stop motion and has an absolutely incredible storyline with amazing characters and hilarious humor. It’s both heartwarming and eerie. And I think you would absolutely love it. #Bingers

I'm glad Billy reacted to this. What i found cool about the story of how the strings got separated is like what happened in 90s.
There were so many music choices and they lived in harmony, then Pop started becoming the next big thing with auto-tune and remixes, that some other genres of music got pushed aside.

Yodeling isn't my favorite style of vocal performance but it does take skill and practice and is a good exercise once you know the gist. Takes a lot of power to be able to switch between octaves super fast like that, on key and with power behind it, but don't do it while you're recovering your voice! Let yourself rest.

I have a love for a variety of music genres primarily country, pop, soundtrack/instrumental, and rock. I also love disco and dont understand the hate towards it. Disco music is great for exercise as the music gets the body a moving and the booty a shaking.

I grew up with classical music too and I really love it. It's absolutely incredible what we human beings can do.
When I was in college I used to listen to Classical music when I studied so I wouldn't be distracted by trying to sing lyrics.
My grandfather was a saxophonist in a jazz band. He took me to jazz festivals, like Montreal, Boston, & San Francisco.

Branch is right to be worried. They don't know if the others trolls are nice or evil, maybe they won't like their music. Having weapons is a good idea! Poppy was horrible, she ignore his advices and forced him to come with her. That's cruel ☹She didn't appologise if i remember.
A third movie is coming. There's a bunch of new stuff like Branch's family. He was in a band with them when he was a kid. First why we only saw him living with his grandma? Second, why he suddenly cares about his sibblings now? That's weird!

Poppy doesn't really show their music the respect they deserve, ie in Lonesome Flats when she decided that the country trolls just didn't get that music was supposed to make you happy and decided to do a mash-up of songs that she should've gotten weren't really to their taste, same as how the pop trolls decided 'I know how to make their music better, mixing it up with my music', it's not really showing respect to the differences and that isn't real togetherness, plus it works in the storyline of Poppy not really considering anyone else's advice and just going along with her own plan.
