There's nothing ironic about it, Jingles already covered this replay, but now it's new and improved with 75% more salt about WG's "improvements" to the game.....
I love the pure irony of this episode being called "Boldy Go" while also being an accidental recast of one he did before. Extra spice for him exclaiming how he had never seen someone blindly shoot into the cap and get a defender ribbon before.

Why do I feel like I watched this video a couple months back already? Are you sure you haven't shown up with an old replay that you forgot you already posted? That would be a Jingles moment alright... (It was called: 'Ship of Ghosts', you can check it out!!) Btw, did you notice that for the last 5 minutes of the game The_Double_Tab was guessing correctly the position of the Yugumo 3 times in a row only based on its torpedoes... hats off!
Me: Time for a quick nap- The Mighty Jingles: Oh really, you fuckin' think so sunshine? Edit: wait a minute, i think i've seen this video somewhere........in some bygone time... what the fuck I KNOW THAT END RESULT SCREEN! JINGLES!
*Fletcher get's spoted inside the capture point when it is being flipped. Fletcher is destroyed and the flipping stops.* Jingles' brain: "Hmm, the Yugumo was capping but it stopped."
Dear Jingles. In difficult times like this, you are making days a lot better, at least for me, but i reckon there's a lot more people feeling the same. Thank you! Great game as well.
These custom result screens are by far my favorite parts of the world of warships videos. Good thing I was alone in my house, cuz I just laughed out loud like a maniac when I saw it
Always hilarious when a DD comes behind my french BB thinking he outplayed me and then he got brown alert when he suddenly remembers all the 150mil secondaries are in the back lol
That was a damn well played battle. You can see when he's using intuition to infer what is going on based on what the game isn't telling him. Well done.
"Actually, Jingles..." The Yugumo capping Bravo was actually the Fletcher, and the reason he stopped capping was that he got killed by JB... OK, OK, I'll show myself out now.
Jingles intentionally reposted this clip to demonstrate what you won’t be able to do with the Commander Skill Rework. So ironically, every Jingles fan in this comment section calling this a jingles moment... just had a Jingles moment. 20:31 Either way, I really don’t think he cared if this was a video before the change. The video showed what you could do before the rework.
Everyone who is telling Jingles that he already uploaded this video is going deeper into the Salt Mines. Be glad he uploads daily and is only featuring the same video every 2 months.
No matter what great or shitty day i had, Jingles always makes me smile at the end of the day, when i watch his vids. Thank you very much for that good Sir!
People saying this is a repeat but I don't remember it. That said I would've watched regardless because Jean Bart is, eh...was one of my favorite ships to play.
very good read on the fact that the yugumo would go towards A to flip the cap (at least a thinking yugumo would). and very good read on the path the yugumo took across the cap. great awareness.
I still love that "middle ground" video with all the stuff going on there that our Overlord missed to mention, e.g. 2 enemy caps being flipped while they were at 998 points... you know, that kind of small stuff in the background^^
Jingles you missed the big brass balls on the post battle results screen! Charging down an enemy Japanese destroyer in a battleship with no way of detecting it save for spotting it, yeah he had some big ones in that match! Great replay and commentary as always!
JIngles you muppet, that was the Fletcher capping the B point, not only was the Yugamo no-where near the cap when it started, the flip stopped after Tab nuked the fletcher. Never change
Jingles: says he's made a mistake Me: thinking it's that he forgot to put in the ship silhouette Everyone else: *hmm this seems Awfully familiar jingles* Me: ah yes, I must be catching a case of the jingles
After years of watching Jingles & occasionally Flambass & Flamu I thought I'd give WoWs a shot. Got up to the Pensicola fairly quickly and basically could go no further. In all of the matches that I played from then on (other than they low level bot games) battleships comprehensively and utterly dominate every match they're in with almost no way to even contest them.
Your artistic skills are improving Jingles! That victory screen looks only slightly worse than you do! It's alright, we all still love our overlord anyways.
13:10 Jingles not giving this guy the credit he deserves, he was turning right only whilst the fletcher had him spotted, to encourage it to throw out its torpedos, and when he became unspotted he stopped and turned the right way to dodge them. It was a fake out!
9:10 doable in JB, thanks to best in tier BB maneuverability, exceptional BB handling 9:56 psychopathically in control 17:10 incredible IQ and while under extreme pressure, inherent superior mental capacity, it's not something you earn, you either have it or you just suck being average. his leadership sending fletcher to cap and deciding to take the dd is also flawless for all kind of reasons.
I killed once a DD, based only on the "detected" message, in a BB and won the battle. It was a bit easier because there was an island involved, so I was preaimed on that side of the island I was expecting him to show up and in the moment the "detected" indicator come up I took the shot. :) It was a nice feeling thou! :))
What I have found, in every game I play, is that it's more fun to stay in a lower tier. I fly, walk or sail in and rip everyone into flaming shreds. Fun!!!
Ive watched this replay already.....and Jingles was the one that uploaded it the last time too......I guess Jingles wont ever stop being crap, but thats fine, the battle was at leas all sorts of fun and educational xD
I played a ranked battle today in the HMS Lightning with the new skills (I only had a 10 pt captain on it). It was okay, even with a carrier trying to ruin my day, and it was a close-fought game.
Quick before jingles takes the video back down and throws me back into the salt mines with no cheese i might add. Time to watch a video that seems rather familiar 🤔
It's been marketing 101 since. . . . awhile? "Tired of getting your shoelaces knotted up?" "Have you fallen down and have been unable to get up?" "Fed up with getting your arm caught in the wood chipper?" "Are your days being ruined every time your nuclear fuel rods spill out?" Wargaming watching late 90's and early 2000's infomercials. Goes to a new patch. "Hey sailors, tired of always having fun in your matches? Introducing new and improved Aircraft Carriers!"
Sure, especially as a BB player it's absolutely important to recognize the best moment for pushing. Going in too early would mean dying pointlessly very early and staying the whole battle behind and sniping isn't good for the team because you are supposed to tank (if a battleship is not giving broadside it can mostly take quite a beating). But aside from the new "Deadeye"-skill, which is now promoting staying behind and sniping the whole game, there are also differences between the battleships in the game. There are some ships ( for example Yamato and Conqueror) which are especially made for sniping. They are in a disadvantage at close range but very good at long range. Then you have ships especially made for brawling (for example Großer Kurfürst and Kremlin) which are most of the time quite bad at sniping but very good at close range. And last but not least you have some allrounders which can do both quite satisfactory. I would say that the french battleships (like Republique) and the US-fast battleships (like Montana) fit in this category. I haven't found a suitable roll for the new US slow-battleships yet. They are not though enough and not well eqipped for brawling but because of their terrible Sigma and the low AP-penetration (at least at Kansas and Minnesota, haven't played Vermont yet) they are not very good at sniping either. What i want to point out is, that i cannot really blame players in a Yamato or a Conqueror, who are staying behind and snipe for perhaps a bit too long. What i absolutely cannot understand are people who are playing ships completely different from what they are supposed to (for example not pushing in a Kurfürst, or go brawling in a Conqueror directly at the beginning of a match).
Now I know why I feel like I know what's about to happen in this vid, because Jingles posted the same replay 2 months ago, its called "Ships of Ghost".
