Next is carrier subs (since it was done during WW2). Of course, the sub won't just have one or two scout planes, it will have a 75-plane complement.
With 1,5 minute cooldown that restores entire aircraft and 2 attack flights, of course
The planes will drop enough torps so you guarantee getting flooded after you already DM your flood from the Sub torps
Dont forget the nuclear missles to keep everything in check. Don't want them to be defenseless
Actually would not change much since you can't play against CV's now anyway. Only a small number of DD's can go after CV's and only in a few type of games.

Italy had a odd one of these too as a planned project, a single front and back quadruple barreled turret with a large carrier deck in the middle.

Yer its a SLIGHTLY OP Ship for damage farmers. It doesn't suit pushing in, however another boring ship at the back of the map.
I kinda wish every BB player will now migrate to these new abominations. Just to show how ridiculous this game is getting.

Yup. I just love those T9 ranked games where a Kearsage does nothing good except harass the opposing DD all game long. The Kearsage finishes bottom of the team but he's still the MVP for spotting the DD to death.

Yep, the realisation that the monty actually has worse gun dispersion is really depressing. I really like the monty but the guns can be a bit questionable sometimes, especially when comparing to this gameplay

@@jaywerner8415 mf really didn’t get the memo that german dispersion isnt awful anymore. Right now it is literally the most average BB dispersion in the game, 1.8 sigma with an american dispersion ellipse is very ok. You want bad dispersion, talk to the italian BBs
@@jammo7370 That may be true but it STILL feels like you can't hit what your aiming at. Its better then it was but your never hitting WHERE you want, just the General AREA of where you want.
I realy think the cooldown for planes should start after the end of the attack instead of after you lauch it, it really feels like you can just spam it all the time
Not really, since if you're far enough away from a ship that your 2 minute cooldown ends in the time it took you to get over there, it's still going to take you that extra 2 minutes after your cooldown expires to return and set follow-up fires or finish him off. It's not constant planes like fighting a Nakhimov at 5 km
If they make it like that don't be sutprise if they make the planes pump up more ridiculous damage who wants that to happen
the carrier overhaul they did in world of warships for me, is probably the most braindead game design ive ever seen. All they had to do was a few fixes for the old system. Instead they dumbed it down for simpletons to play
Something interesting about the Louisiana, the secondaries are good enough that you can at least scare destroyers and Subs with them

The moment they announced it had planes, you already knew WG wouldn't let this line suffer.
I'm a Louisiana native. The USS Louisiana was planned and under construction as a Montana class battleship when the Montana program was canceled in 1945. The keel was laid alongside the Montana and she was on her way to becoming a "real steel" ship. Now wargaming wants to make the Louisiana an abomination of a useless CV/BB hybrid line? This is as close as I've ever come to quitting the game entirely. They didn't even have to make up a ship. It was already there for them. It was under construction. It was a Montana class battleship. Give it a gimmick on speed or secondaries to set it apart. Ohio heal. Something. The work was already done for the game devs. The ship technically existed in real life to an extent. Now the one shot of having the ship I always wish existed in real life is botched in-game. It's a travesty.
Lets just be very clear. This ship is good right now because it is new. Once sales slow down it will get a nerf like all other ships do. Again. Please, I beg all of you to stop giving wargaming money. You are why they are getting away with screwing everyone over.
The last thing the game needs is another thing that can spot ships. I'd be way more OK with them if the planes didn't spot for anyone else but themselves. Another ship that is no fun to fight against.
I do not take WoWs very seriously, but this game is way too stressful. It feels like everything is against you - long range HE spam, submarines, infinite plane spotting, instant death for DDs, long range & long lasting radar etc. There are so many things willing to counter you that you do not feel like pushing and I do not blame the player base for choosing to camp, because I do not see any other way of playing this game, at least at tier ten. Not every game can make you feel good, but this game gives you just too much stress. You need not be a game developer or anything to see the flaws in this game that seem to be beyond repair.
As someone who stopped playing with all the spotting I think the fix for planes has always been that you show on Minimap only (maybe with a little jiggle or delay even) not on the screen. Not to mention this would be accurate/realistic. Planes of this era could spot enemy ships but were never able to give targeting accurate locations like a fixed ship with dedicated crew would be able to. The concept that a plane flying at speed while evading flake and dropping a payload would be able to help walk in artillery fire is just absurd.
Yeah I don't blame the players either, it's the developers job to design the game in a way that incentivize balanced and fun game-play, but WG is clearly not interested in that

I very much second this. I have been on the receiving end of this a couple of times already and took the time to view more of its performance in spectator after I got killed. The bomber dispersion is absurdly good, consistently dealing 15+k strikes plus effectively guaranteed fires, including harder to hit targets like DDs. Considering it has little opportunity cost and there being no defense at all against it, it seems blatantly obvious this should not make it to the game proper. And no, I am not surprised it apparently does anyways.
@@esgeran1654 i mean kearsarge is basically the predeccesor only difference is that rocket planes are argueably weaker than the tech tree hybrid bombers. Its really absurd
Even though it has that big superstructure, I feel like this ship would also be pretty scary nose-in. Eventually that superstructure is gonna saturate, and 6 guns + bombers is still a lot of firepower.
This is now world of gimmicks and magic spells...

Well you see Wargaming can't program more then 1 airstrike type per ship, Cus the DUTCH cruisers are getting Ship Based Depth Charges since they already have an Airstrike.
So NO Kearsarge will probably NEVER have ASW.

@@BSoDexe WTF are you talking about? The Dutch cruisers have had their parachute bomb Airstrikes since they where released, the Depth Charge planes work the EXACT SAME WAY.
Literal copy and past with a different purpose. Same UI, same camera, different payload. Knowing WG they probably cant have more then 1 "airstrike" on a ship at one time cus "reasons". So the Dutch cruisers get ship launched DC charges instead.

WG, can I have a flight deck on my Smaland? Makes total sense.
A div of 3 of these would be absurd. You could stagger your planes to hit someone every 40 seconds with 2 fires and just take out everyone one by one by fire without even needing guns. With a set of planes out every 40 seconds you wouldn't even need dds to spot since you could perma spot. I think hybrid BB need to be limited in matches like CV because one team have 3+1/2 CVs would just be absurd.
Ever since subs got added to main, I've found myself playing less and in the last 6-7 months I'm no longer playing at all. I really enjoyed the classic BB/CA/DD gameplay (usually most DD) but super speedy subs and high tier CVs just make the game so much less interesting esp for sneaky DD players.

Yeah, if there's one thing this game needed it's another mechanic that encourages passive gameplay.
I played a game yesterday where the enemy team got a division of these and our team got 2 turpitz. I was in a cruiser chilling behind an island and the division focused on me and took 3/4 of my hp before I could even do 30k dmg. It was so much fun.
I'm not leaving Ohio for this one

And this morning I deleted the game client. After World of Tanks, now World of Warships is for me a “f*ck you Wargaming” too. It’s a pity because I used to love this game. But after the introduction of submarines in the game I realised it’s not for me anymore. Now hybrid nonsense. You guys keep enjoying the game 👋

What does the game need? Massive rebalance as powercreep has made some tech tree ships useless, reimplementation of subs to be less cancerous, rebalancing of AA, new maps and gamemodes focused around team play instead of farming at the map borders.

This is so goofy i’m so done with this game I just miss when it wasn’t built around a scummy business model along with fake gimmicky ships and subs
I like how they brought this hybrid type of ship into the game, even though the superpower nations at the time tried and realize how dumb it was, interesting concept, but not feasible, unless they made an extremely large ship of the size of Californa (pulling this out of my ass). I'll accept it if it was a sci-fi Supercarrier or Assault Carrier spaceships.
I prefer leaving my hanger and flightdeck away from the enemy, and my armor and guns up close and personal with them.

as A Liousana native I find this skitzophrenic nature of this ship highly accurate to my state.
I think you're being too harsh on this one. The ship is preforming well in game and you're still giving it trouble

The biggest issue with the hybrid BB bs is the plane reload is based off when the planes takeoff, so in a game without a CV you can basically be a perma cv if you play it right for spotting and manage your time well with it.
I think its very powerful. These bombs are better then Midways in terms of tankyness, the reticle is easy to use and it will hurt destroyers so much. Then it also has the 12 km ASW and it has enough deck armor to shatter all AP. Plus its very hard to citadel. Tip for bombers or CVs too: Start your attack run way earlier. The bombers get reduced damage while aiming down and you still have a lot of time to reach your target.

WG be like: Thunderer and Kearsarge are the most toxic premium BBs in the game. Lets make whole lines out of them.

I've played some games with this ship and I have contrasting feelings about it.
It have a weak armor, but an amazing AA.
It have mediocre guns (shells are slow af) but good planes and bombs.
Don't have fighters to deploy, but if used to spot stuff it can turn the tide of the battle.
You can use it to spot and persecute DDs, but you will not gain enough damage for a ship of this type.
In my last two battles I won one by using in a mixing role scoring 193k damage and taking down 58 planes of enemy CV.
The other game? 89k and pretty basic medals. Lost game obviously.
I don't know... It's an anomalous ship.
It definitely requires a skilled player to shine.
To me, requires a bit too much than what I'm used to, also because I'm not that skilled player.
Sometimes you give normal impression to a ship & later you call the same ship really really good..😂😂 I am really confused whether to get Louisiana would be helpful for the team. I can spot enemies, I have half of Montana guns and similar accuracy, I do good in cv attacks.. I thought this ship would be my style. I saw 2 of your videos on Louisiana. this one made Lousiana look like a commoner... the later one made Louisiana like OP .. so confusing LOL .. I will still go for it, spotting enemies is the best help I can give to a team

A ship design that wouldn't be good at either being a battleship or a carrier. This was pure mental m@sterb@tion during the 30's and 40's but no one seriously considered it other than the Japanese and that was only because they were loosing ships faster than they could imagine.

Illinois wont be out for awhile, iirc it entering live testing for super testers this upcoming patch, and then it wont be available for another couple patches at least, so dont expect it any time soon.
how do i become a creator and get handed all this shit that is so expensive.... nobody who watches these vids can afford thes ships...it sucks....you cant grind anything for free either it takes too long...i play every day over a year and im stuck at tier 7
Louisiana has iowa guns (the longer ones) in contrast to kearsarge's NC guns right? so you have something like a montana with 2 less guns but bombers and worse armour?
I tune this game out for 4 years and i come back to check in for pc and its this shit. Wth is going on? I am not looking forward to this being added to legends eventually
