Best description of rapid trigger. Well done! It's an awesome feature that really can benefit fps players in counter strafing and just simply being more precise.
You should use that post card (and any contact you might have) to suggest that they put these switches and their tech with the Wootility software into a one-handed game pad akin to the Razer Tartarus or the Logitech G13. As a keyboard nerd I have no intention of replacing my very nice keyboard with one of these, but if I could add a one-hander specifically for gaming? I'd buy that in a heartbeat.
@@justnvc I already daily a 60% so even though it is small, it's still just a second keyboard, and too wide to just keep over on the side and use it without having to fully swap out boards every time I want to play anything. A 60% in the middle with a mouse and a game pad off to either side would be perfect.
about mod-tap keys , lets say I binded half press R to R and full press R to Z .. would this be easy to use or I will make tons of mistakes while trying one to another bcs I won't feel different steps while pressing the key?
On my pc games pretty much running at locked 144fps on 144hz monitor but the games feel choppy and terrible mouse lag can tell me how to fix this problem
Sometimes locking fps can feel more choppy than unlocking fps, unless you have a G-Sync display. If you have a G-Sync display and it is enabled, make sure your fps is either locked 2-3 below maximum, or you have it unlocked. Whilst checking this, make sure V-Sync is disabled in NVIDIA Control Panel or in-game, especially if G-Sync is enabled. Beyond that, make sure your mouse dpi is below 1900dpi as a general rule of thumb (some mice have smoothing delay above this), and turn on any low latency modes on both the monitor and in the game if your gpu supports it.
is rapid trigger something you can consistently use for precise start and stop movements or is it something that just sounds good on paper? it's hard to picture how it would play out in real world without actually trying it myself. Do you find yourself have wonky movement at all with it enabled at times or is it something that you find actually helps? Also can you flip the lekker switch so the LED hole is south facing and it still works? (cherry profile keycaps interfere with the switch housing when they are north facing)
It works well for precise movements yes. As for whether you can rotate the switches to be south facing, that'd be a question to ask in their discord: discord.com/invite/rNghtgw. I don't have a switch puller available right now to check, but as there are just two prongs on left/right it looks like it should be possible in theory.
Great review. In my opinion this keyboard and the 60% version can still be improved by changing the layout. A layout with multiple thumb keys, like ortholinear layouts, would give an considerable advantage in some games. Right now our most dexterous finger has only one key to press while we need to use our busy movement fingers for other stuff. I don't understand why the gaming keyboard market is so stuck on an ancient typewriter layout. What game are you playing at 9:35?
Thanks! I'd quite like some extra keys beneath space bar like the Roccat Arvo (but better). The game is Diabotical, race mode in game, and free on Epic launcher.
@@GoldenEagle0007 That's just a 2 second shot to show what human benchmark is, and hb is not a good way to test absolute input latency as at 0.1-0.3mm I have to consciously lift my finger as to not actuate it. It does work for "quickly comparing the effects of different actuation points though", but even that is prone to variance. To properly test it you'd need to use hardware that automates the actuation and is identical every time. I am surprised no review has done this yet, but my camera is limited to 60 fps and my phone's 960 fps is not consistent enough to even try. That's not anything to do with the mic or interface/settings, that's a kitchen with no sound proofing you're hearing ;( channel is too small to invest in anything better at the moment. I actually use a headset mic for most things because of it: twitter.com/justnvc/status/1324408247449767942
love the explanations and visuals on the actuation points. well explained and I can see how this keyboard is brilliant. great review, Just XD

I experimented with a different tone of my voiceover this video, what do you think? Should I be more hype? Or do you prefer it like this?
maybe its just me, i think i hear a bit of pop in it?

What is the wolfenstein-esque jump map game you are playing around 9:35?
Diabotical (f2p on epic)

60%'s are very small, the 60HE could be an option?
