- In this video I take a fresh out of the box Hot Wheels Honda S2000 and give it a custom makeover. I also try out some £1 paint to see how it fares.
I use a multitude of techniques to achieve the desired results.

Hi Alvarez, totally sweet results for this 'budget build' using a rattle can from the Pound Store! Brilliant finish after the clear coat. The Nuln Oil always makes a difference on the details. Nice wheel swap, as usual. I love this one. Big thumbs up from Switzerland - Andrew 👍
Thanks Andrew! Yes I was quite pleased with the cheapo paint, just goes to show you don't need expensive stuff to get good results with this hobby.
I think the most expensive part of this build was the decals :)
My dad has a s2000 and honestly I love how they look and love what you did keep it up

Not a JDM fan, but that came out really nice. I’ve thought about drawing the details back in on headlights/taillights too, but most of the cars I’ve done don’t have a big enough area to really do it justice. They really do look great on your Honda!👍👍
Thanks Larry. Yeah I think the headlights would be hard to do with many castings. It really favors more modern cars I think.

You just gave me the perfect idea for a car I'm currently working on. I was going to try decals for the headlights, but I'm just no good at making decals. Nice job on the whole on this one.
Thanks! Yeah it was a complete chance that this worked out. I too considered decals bit I don't currently have a reliable way of producing these.
I like how these turned out though they look really good in person and dare I say better than decals.
