pov: you just watched the most life shattering, monumental moment in television and you just sit in silence comprehending what you just witnessed as this banger plays in the background.
Honestly, Better Call Saul, Mad Men, Breaking Bad, The Mandalorian and The Sopranos are my top 5 favorite shows. And folks, always remember to Better Call Saul!
You should give The Sopranos a watch if you haven’t already, also in my top 5 along with BB, Mad Men, BCS... it set the stage for shows like that to come.
This song sounds like a different take on the Breaking Bad theme song, just with a little funk added to it. I really want to know where I can find the full length version!
Meghan Brown I was thinking this myself. Just those first two notes sound like a nod to Breaking Bad. Also the title music like Breaking Bad has that South Western folk feel, but Breaking Bad's theme was dark, eerie and tense which suited the show, whereas Better Call Saul's is more optimistic sounding.
@@DA-pp5tn it's underrated ! When you see shit shows like pretty little liars or grey's anatomy having more than 6 millions viewers this show is underrated it deserve more than this !
I was a little, just a little unsatisfied when the show ended regarding some of the storylines conclusions and plotlines made, but months later, man, I miss it so much. I can't believe I'm starting to realize this now. I miss watching Better Call Saul. Even though I still feel that there were some things that could've been handled better or not introduced at all, I still think it was a phenomenal show and I wish I could see it again like the first time.
The ending is one of the most bittersweet I've ever seen on a show. On the one hand, it's beyond frustrating to watch him toss away a seven year sentence in exchange for what amounted to a whole-life order. On the other hand, it was right. In finally taking full responsibility for everything he'd done, he regained his soul, and the respect of the woman he loved. Walter got revenge. Jesse ran. Jimmy found redemption.
I interpret this theme being the theme of Mike. The opening theme of BCS is Jimmy while the normal ending theme is Mike. The opening theme sounds like something you’d hear in the background of a cheesy ad while the closing theme is methodical and gives this feeling of malice, while also feeling like a badass.
Wish that this also was the outro theme for when Saul first showed up on breaking bad since you know, breaking bad plays the main theme at every episode’s ending but is either played on a different instrument or that they replace certain sounds with something that is related to the episode so this would’ve been just perfect. Makes me wonder if the team looks at better call Saul like it’s a breaking bad episode or that they just got lazy because I was pretty disappointed that they played the same song every time.
@@bobrhubarbtv591 I know, I’m not dumb. But I’m just saying if they made this when Saul first showed up in BB and made it the credits for BCS then that’d be pretty cool
This is actually show composer Dave Porter and an Artist named Mocean Worker working together. Not the band Little Barrie who are awesome but not involved in this track. :)
Where the hell does this music come from??? Can't find it referenced anywhere and it rocks! Have just been through a lifetime of Junior Brown (worth the detour!) but to no avail!! Please post if you've any idea where to find the source. Cheers!
Because a main character died, this music is in all episodes except the ones who a main charcacter dies, until now the only episodes whutout this music are Lantern, Rock and Hard Place, and Plan and Execution
@@jhonatanwick1857 yes, notice that, what do you think it could mean? in Point and Shoot the same scheme is maintained because a principal (Lalo) died; but it's true that from Nippy onwards the music no longer returns. Does it have something to do with the episodes being in black and white? The intro stops working too, I listen to your opinion haha
@@jhonatanwick1857 My theories when Nippy ended is that this was an alternate ending to the series. That's why the intro was cut and the credits didn't have the music. Jimmy hung up his suit, that is to say, that was the death of Saul Goodman, all the plots were already closed and the series could have ended there... but instead it continued for 3 more episodes, without intro or credits music, and with a new ending for the series
