NOTE: #4 didn't last very long (probably because the season was cut short by the 2007-2008 Writers Strike), but Fox always plays the first few seconds during their viewer advisories.
1: The classic
2: Has some funky, jazzy style
3: Nice rhythm, march style and happy
4: Soft, chill jazzy
5: Orchestralic and epic
6: Nice Orchestra echo, happy
Number 2 is more of a big band swing style
they were all pretty much big band jazz except for 4. just different styles and compositions.
1 will always be the undefeated favorite for me.
same
me too
Yes!
amen
3 is the best m8
1: Best for comedy.
2: Best for a live concert
3: you hear this outro everyday when you watch on firestick.
4: best for weird episode ends
5: Best for happy vibes
6: same thing with what i said about number one
3# is my fav and it's season 4 my fav so yeah i love it a lot
i dont rlly like the last one as much as the other ones
#4 and #5 should be swapped out
Idk why people don't like #2, it's a big band jazz music explosion. My personal favourite.
all the best episodes had 2 idc.
Exactly for that, it's a bit too much.
@@IKugelBlitz_V how is jazz too much
#3 is my favorite
1 is honestly my favorite. There’s just that vibe of old family guy that cannot be beaten
3 is the best for me. Upbeat, happy and fits with the show.
I they all sound happy and fitting to me
Same, I really like the trumpets xD
Same
might sound kinda dumb but it sounds like it belongs to american dad then at the end i see what u mean
Agreed
Even if you don't like the show you gotta admit the music in this show is good
Agreed i love the songs in the show
#1 - 0:00
#2 - 0:31
#3 - 1:00
#4 - 1:32
#5 - 2:03
#6 - 2:35
freakiveek thx
Dnx
freakiveek fucken legend you are mate!
They're all fantastic. If there's one thing that Family Guy will never mess up, it's their music. Seth just has this great taste in music. It's New York, it's Vegas, it's something of a bygone era. Top it off with Seth's voice that really belongs as part of the Rat Pack, and you have one helluva great sound. Family Guy's comedy may have slipped, but I'm glad the music department has always remained consistently great.
replace the instance of Family Guy in the first sentence here with Sonic and it will make just as much sense
@Chris C. yes it fucking has
@Chris C. It never slipped but every now and then the episodes have bad writing.
This comment is very true and very well written.
The Orchestral score is good stuff too.
The second theme is my all time favorite
Yeah, has that real BigBand vibe :)
Mine too.
Joshua V same!! It seems somehow more emotional and extravagant than the rest
#2 is my favorite too ! I love it 🤘❤
+Cheif TJ #3 is better than#2
#1 will always be my favorite.
Thethreebrothers Can't argue with that.
+Thethreebrothers Same
1 is my favrote too !!! And 4 is second
SAME
Freezepark! Yay, you are still here! I remember when you had the Carl Wheezer profile pic!
I personally prefer #4 because if it was a really intense episode then it just calms you down a little I don't know.
superDONbros What episode was that?
@@artistmemer180 The Christmas episode where Stewie and Brian are Santa
Wolfie boi how u get scared of family guy
Reminds me of TED
Random Crap incorrect
1: NOSTALGA
2: Seems to Las Vegas styled.
3: Seems excited.
4: Reminds me of the first one but piano/classic-like.
5: Sounds great.
6: Like #5.
Oops. For number 2 I meant too not to
Nostalgia*
Was the second theme used in 2005? If so, it would perfectly coincide with the "Family Guy: Live in Las Vegas" and that too Las Vegas style would be the perfect call
1 is like Ellington/basie swing
Dylan Dukat yes but it was also used in some episodes in season 3
1:11 that sound always made me love it.
Which one?
@@robsmith961 I imagine the pizzicato strings with sudden interruptions by the brass.
You mean the epic xylophone solo?
@@LisztAddict isn't a solo, the strings are doing the same thing
@@cm4n63 I didn’t mean it as a literal connotation type of thing, just using it as a way to talk about that one xylophone part
1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 are the best
Agreed !
Me too I argeed
I also agree 👍
You forgot 1 2 3 4 5 and 6
@FrenzyMedia - Your former place for craziness. Truths
#4 is such an underrated theme. It’s so soothing and relaxing!
Yesss
#2 is the best for me because of the instruments, it sounds so good
#1 is my favorite because it makes me nostalgic...reminds me of watching the DVDs of the early seasons when I was younger (too young to be watching this show haha)
Justin W. EXACTLY
I sat in my uncles watching the early seasons, when the final episode was done. I was already asleep.
My thoughts exactly
i don't know why but I like all of them for some reason:/
ме 2
Devon Costello I love the first one
XCarbonWolfX Random Stuff
Yeah they sound like each other you know
Devon Costello because it jazz u should try jazz songs
I don't know why people don't like the #4. Is the best for me, with #2. Big-band masterpieces.
Love the Xylophone in #3...
Me too!
KazaaMafia Man, I wanna play that so bad...
Those are bells not xylos even tho they are in the same family
Anbreww You obviously don't play percussion. that is obviously a xylophone though there is bells in there
Same
I love how the show mostly ends on a funny high note and then cue the theme. Freaking hilarious. My two favorites would be number 5 and 6.
@@Corex55 that’s you.
@@Corex55 this was 7 years ago, when family guy was still decent
1 and 2 are my absolute favorites. The one I heard the most was 3, though. For a long time, the only FG DVDs I had were from seasons 4 through 6, and it's the theme that was used the most on those episodes. Those first three themes make me so nostalgic. Even if I agree with the majority of people that the show had a serious drop on quality (I haven't watched any episode after season 9), I'll always have a soft spot for FG. It was the first TV show I watched continuously, first DVDs I ever bought, and I got a lot more interested in watching movies and other shows because of its cultural references, which became huge hobbies of mine.
2:11 I love that part
Here's what comes to mind:
#1&2-Mid 1950s to Mid 1970s Broadway
#3-American Dad but not enough brass
#4 Mid 1960s TV sitcoms such as Bewitched
#5-Late 1960s to Mid 1970s Broadway Jazz
#6-Late 1930s to Early 1950s Broadway Jazz
Family Guy fan-Jacob Zeier
I wish Fox would allow the full end credits every week as they do with "The Simpsons".
sonofretrotvluver The simpsons and bob’s burgers have those extra scenes on the credits. Family Guy can’t cause they have to fit in promos.
In one episode, it did show Tom Tucker talking for a bit before the credits continued.
Watch it on adult swim
@@icecreamhero2375 which was the FORBIDDEN EGG
@@negativezero_oof9469 their have been a couple times where they do it
#3 was always my favourite, it's fast paced and just right
And the xylophone bit
Same here
Number two has to be my favorite, even though I'm not a fan of the show. I'll still give three through six credit.
Hey your that guy that who destroy toys
I like the jazzy feel of number 2
Yes we are home number two
#3 is my all time favorite, without a doubt.
The xylophone solo is fire
#3 has the best arranging by far out of all the other ones. Nothing beats that switch to half time followed by the fat sus chord with the bass accents on the off beat
There's a reason 4 is the most relaxed one. it's just pleasant hearing the flutes and vibes play the melody, while bucket-muted brass and a brush drumset accompany
Any jazz/broadway music fans will probably have a thing for all of them. They're great compositions on their own without even thinking of the show.
3,5 and 6 are my favorites that I've mostly been hearing on Adult Swim!
1:00 sounds like American Dad theme song
Best outro music to any show ever.
1 will ALWAYS be my favorite
Colbskrams9 Productions same
#2 is just amazing, my favorite by a long shot
#1: For a well paced episode with classic Early Family Guy comedy.
#2: For an episode that made us excited and/or amazed with a place/character/concept ending with a high note. (rare)
3#: For a fun, fast and crazy episode with a funny ending.
4#: For episodes that end on a calm or nice note. (rare)
5#: More for provoking episodes ending with a twist or a punchline, pretty much like Modern Family Guy episodes.
6#: Since it's pretty similar to #5 I'd say it's for episodes that end with a sort of reveal or a discovery.
#6 is the best because in family guy episodes, the best strongest joke is always saved for last. And the first few seconds of the credit music did a good job of putting an end cap on the joke and the episode as a whole
6 is such a masterpiece!!
My personal favorite is #2 because the instruments sound so good
Just sat down and started learning the bass parts to them and I love the 5th one. Really upbeat and fun to play to
I've been watching Family Guy for a loooong time, and tonight's the first time I ever heard #4, which is what prompted me to search for it. I only thought there were a couple of different end themes. It's cool seeing so much effort put into it
what episode(s) was it in doll?
I never grew up with this show and yet the first one sounds so nostalgic.
I love it how everyone has such different opinions, yet we all manage to stay civil. Twitter could learn a thing or two from this
1:15 that xylophone solo is my most favorite part in all of music
#5 and #6
I need band arrangements for this shit
lol, soo good.
We need f*ckin band arrangements istg, that would be lit asf
I think we can all assume we came here for the upbeat swing music Family Guy so often uses? And btw, I like 5 and 6 best.
2:03 best my opinon.
The first two are my favorites.
#3 is my favourite
Same with me!!!!
LCPD9111 Same here
Same
Agreed
+LCPD9111 I love that fast part at 1:15 :D
#3 is just awesome
Always loved #2 with that jazz band vibe, especially that trumpet. I really liked the episodes that it played on. Like they would end on a somewhat odd but satisfying ending. I think the one when Brian made up with his young girlfriend was one of the episodes. Can't recall others it's been a while since I've seen this funny show...ah the laughs.
What you said about the ending was right because I remember one episode where Loretta cheats on Cleveland with Quagmire and Cleveland is about to kill Quagmire but eventually he forgives him and then they have a friendly boxing spar at the end because Quagmire believed he got off too easy😂
its hilarious because the first time they used the music in the 2nd one on 0:31 was the first episode where Herbert was introduced 😂😂😂
#4 is my favorite. it feels so.. calming to me
To me #1 Will always be the classic theme mostly because I heard it all the time in adult swim reruns in the 2000's
The fact all of these are genuinely fantastic
They all sound great, but the first one will always be my favorite because of nostalgia
The first one is my favorite. I remember watch the early seasons. It gives me nostalgia.
1:32 Viewer discretion is advised.
Number 2 will always be my favorite outta any end theme 😌
Number 3 is my favorite
#6 is definitely my favorite. 2:34
#3 is by far the most iconic and best, alongside #1. #1 & #3 are the only ones to he used again in later seasons.
Ranking them all
6: 4th theme
5: 6th theme
4: 5th theme
3: 1st theme
2: 2nd theme
1: 3rd theme
Number 6 is like awesome for a joke that ends and right after the joke the music starts
#3, #5 and #6 How are we debating this?!
1 (3): 1:00
2 (6): 2:35
3 (5): 2:03
***** welcome to youtube
I honestly grew up with #2
Ahhh the 1st one will always be a classic. That humming in the background is so nostalgic and it is the cherry on tol
Number 2 is my favorite of all time
They're all so good.
#1 is a masterpiece
Happy 20th Anniversary Family Guy
I'm so used to #6 but I love #2
#6 is overused which is why i don't like it as much as the older ones
#2 is my favourite! J always really liked the piano over Stewie’s Laugh and Cry part!
I mostly like #3 end theme cuz it’s catchy
Same here #3 is my favorite
#5 is my favorite
6 is my favorite.
2:42-2:44 swings so hard
The best
I like 6 As well.👍
Hiatt Grey 6 is my favorite
Hiatt grey 6 is my favorite too
#2 is best
1:15 to 1:21 idk why but i LOVE this part
1 2 and 3 are really the best lol
#3 All the way
6 is the ending where the characters end on a pause. All of a sudden the theme plays 😂
3, 5, and 6 are my favorites
I love all of them but from four to six is so damn good
#5 is the happiest song I ever heard
Number three is the best one for me
Yeah I agree.
true
Yup!
same here
It makes you have an optimistic look at life.
wtf I recognize all of these individually but somehow I've still never realized that the outro varies from episode to episode
I personally like #4 the most.
#1 is by far the catchiest and cleanest. It sounds like a pure, warming end to a hilarious comedy about family life and sounds like you've had a great night. The others are just a mess.
+Quasiem Edmondson Only sharing my thoughts...
#5 is amazing.
mclarenguy22 HA you're horribly mistaken the others had just as much work and just as much greatness as the others. If they're such a mess how about you go and make a song better.
what the fuck is wrong with you lol
Perfect way to describe it
#2 Ain't that a kick in the head ♫
Ain't that a hole in the boat
Luifernal damn u are right. Seth Mcfarlene does love dean martin and Sinatra so I see the vibes
#3 is the best for sure imo
I want this to play at my funeral. Because my life was nothing but a comedy.
Lol
I love #6!
The original is the best and always will be. Number 1 for life.
1, 2 , 3 , and 4 will always be my favs
That 5th one is snazzy as all hell
1# I'm not a Nostalgia Person, so it's alright
2# Again not Nostalgic but it's better
3# Love it
4# The Fuck is this?
5# YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!
6# It's awesome too
Here's my order best to worst:
3
2

Half-Alive you feel me !😂
Love the 3rd one cause it sounds like american dad
My exact thought
#2 at 0:31 and #4 at 1:32 are my favorites!!

Finally to see them do a good show tell me now good that was excellent
5, 6, and 3 are the best for me
