you're always an inspiration… Been running for a couple years and I'm trying to qualify for Boston before I hit 60 in a year. can't wait till one day lining up and enjoying the experience that Boston has to offer! Keep up the great work!
Congratulations!! I was the woman in yellow cheering you on at the top of Heartbreak Hill. The conditions were TERRIBLE, so cold and wet, making your time even more impressive!
Does anyone else get anxious before even a daily workout?
All the time. The harder the planned workout the worse it is.
Bro all the time. I be getting the runs right before
I LOVE how you are willing to show your struggles as well as your triumphs! Not that we like to see anyone suffer but it is nice to see elite athletes like yourself struggle after a race lol😂❤. It doesn't matter if you are a 2:30 or a 4:30 plus marathoner, we all go through the same mental and physical battles each race! I hope to qualify for Boston in the next 2-3 years! I have a ways to go as my last marathon PR was 3:44 but I am going to push to try and get sub 3:20 for my age group. Thank you again for continuing to inspire everyone.
Awesome job and it was hella-great meeting you in person (I was one of the exit marshals before you got to the corrals). You totally stood out with your signature sunglasses! Hope to run into you again sometime in the future!
My man kudos to you battling the Newton hills. You will learn from this and evolve into even better.
another outstanding Boston video.., a lot of differing perspectives and different ways to show Boston.., all great
I always love watching these race day vlogs. Thank you Hellah!
Congrats!!!!! Looks like the energy was amazing!
Yes! Let’s go! Congrats on a great race! Hope to follow your footsteps and qualify too
A-maaaaz-ing! Congratulations! You’re at the front of the race when it comes to inspiration.
Thats the spirit Hellah keep on keeping on been watching you since January, excited for whats next for you!!!!! 🎉 Congratulations!!!
Kudos for the videographer and editor 💚. A sensational debut out there Hellah!
I was there too. It was a brutal day on a hard course. You did great. Mile 22 was hard for me too. You are an amazing inspiration for all of us. Keep going.
Excellent stuff man! I had a similar strategy. Felt my muscles getting tight after halfway, so I backed off to prepare for the Newton hills. After mile 21-22, it was a full send to the finish to sneak under 3 hours. Really amazing to have so much support. Boston is truly a special race, and congratulations on your PR.
Amazing Hellah!! You're an inspiration
Comment kudos to you and being such an inspiration for us Vegan athletes! This is my first 100 mile running week (not including my cycling) and most likely only 100 mile running week ever lol. Getting prepared for my next marathon in Humboldt: Avenue of the Giants to hopefully qualify for Boston.
For the animals, planet, and humanity!
Saw you on Out there at mile 3-ish! Congrats on the first Boston! 🦄
Great job bro, keep grinding and especially improving your speed endurance and you'll break the 2:50 milestone next year for sure!!

Hell of a run bro ! Today was day 1056 run everyday for me! You have inspired the streak big time. I am a 347 marathoner trying to go sun 330 next marathon. @runstreak2020 Talking to meb at the end of the video was classic. He’s the best men’s American marathoner of all time !
Great time. Well done.

Great job! The one thing is it may benefit you to take 5-6 gels for the next marathon. I find that I need them every 4-5 miles ish. Congrats!

Congrats! I know you had a goal and you can still achieve it, but amazing pace and timing! Not ideal weather but great for post race relaxation and recovery. How many miles did you run the day after? You are such an inspiration!

Aside from stomach issues running I think running in wet conditions where you're slipping is the WORST.
