ohh wow! quite possibly your finest piece of work seth. this had everything. great footage coupled with the right choice of music to convey all the emotions of a great marathon. thank you!
Great job on this video! Must have been a dream to have been there to spectate. On the other side for an amazing experience. Thanks for all your hard work bringing this to your viewers. Outstanding job!
I cried watching this Thank you for your videos. Personal but My mother has glioblastoma, I have been her caregiver for almost a year now, so my emotions are all over the place as this disease is starting to really get to her. Running has been a great outlet for me and these vids helped a lot. Thanks for the effort to reach all walks of life through running.
Hang in there Andre! I know it’s easy for us to say, because we’re not in your shoes, but I’m sure you doing your best taking care of your mother. All the best to both of you!
Any brain tumor has special resonance for me. I was “lucky” to have a meningioma in an operable location. Even a benign tumor can kill if it’s in the wrong place. I ran Boston last Monday and passed a runner who had a sign saying he was a brain tumor survivor. I fist-bumped with him when I told him I was too.
Probably THE BEST video you have ever made, one to watch and rewatch over and over. You captured the essence of this great race. This kind of content is what sets you apart, thank you for elevating our sport.
This was my first Boston Marathon, my first sub 3 marathon and my favorite one. Thanks for putting together a video that I can always come back to as a souvenir. The running community is lucky to have people like you who do this for the rest of us.
I’m not crying you’re crying. Thank you Seth for so beautifully capturing the Boston experience. I cherish it and will keep coming back for as long as I can.
Seth, it was a pleasure meeting you at the expo on Sunday. I managed to PB on Monday and your channel has definitely helped me get to where I’m at. Much appreciated. Nothing but love
Over the last few days I've been immersing myself in all the videos of this year's Boston Marathon. This is by far the best compilation I've seen. Thank you Seth for doing this for the sport we all love so much. This is how you continue to inspire us to turn the door knob. PS: Thanks for sharing my bit of capture with the world. It made my son's and my day!
As a runner, coach, and everything in between, this video exemplifies how beautiful the sport of running truly is. No matter your level, we all share a common bond as runners and athletes.. always moving forward and following our passion to no end! Thank you Seth for bringing such joy and happiness to our family of runners. The Boston Marathon is the GREATEST MARATHON in the world!!!!
This was my 3rd consecutive Boston and it never disappoints. My 1st was the unusual one in Oct. ‘21, just emerging from the pandemic with a rolling start, a small field and almost no weekend activities. There’s a reason I keep coming back-because it’s unforgettable every time, and doing a course this hard is a growth opportunity. You are a phenomenal filmmaker, capturing all the thrill, grit and inspiration so artistically. I regret not being able to make your shakeout but I’ve been looking forward to these videos! Martha (PS. 18 minute PR over last year and 8th in my AG🎉)
Oh what a day it was! Still thinking me being here to see and to feel all the lovely souls feels just like a dream to me. This a truly wonderful and very special feeling that will remain forever deep in my heart a unique memory in the most noble meaning. Marathon as such is so uncomparable to anything but this one here is a very unique one. I have experienced something really special that I need some days to realize and interpret all those positve energy and good vibes. All those beautiful runners out there. We do the magic! We are the magic! Togeteher as one big family. 💞
Perfectly done! Especially capturing the emotions for the left onto Boylston. I ran so close to getting my sub-3 Boston (I came in at 3:00:26) and this is going to be my inspirational viewing for the next 360 days to get me under!
Hi From Jerusalem - Will be running NY in partnership with the ALS foundation - Second marathon, first major - Thanks for the amazing content and motivation !
Thank you so much. Ran Boston last year and it brought back great memories. Nothing like it. I loved the music, No words necessary. Thank you for all the work you do on behalf of the running community Seth.
Awesome footage of all types of runners! The stroller runner brought tears to my eyes as I have a younger disabled brother who I am helping to care for along with my Mom. The rider seemed to be enjoying the ride as much as the runner! Great video production as well. I couldn't take my eyes off it for a second.
Inspired shooting and editing. Will keep coming back to this as a beautiful way to remember my first Boston Marathon (3:54) and an epic weekend, including the great DGR meetup on Sunday morning. Thanks for coming to Boston, Seth!
Oh my word: Congratulations on your first Boston!!! And how happy for you that this was the year Seth made this AMAZING video: a personal souvenir of your first Boston Marathon!!!
The finish line shots got me. Powerful vlog today Seth. I hope to experience crossing the Boston finish line soon and put the cherry on top of all the work and struggles it’s taken this far.
You nailed it! The emotions, energy and atmosphere was captured so well within a few minutes. Almost as if I was there. Thank you for reinvigorating my excitement, to qualify for the Boston Marathon. This October I plan on doing a marathon race with intent of going faster than 3:10:00 in effort to qualify for the BM. Some days are really hard, but videos like this reminds me of the reason. Keep up the great work and look forward to seeing you race for the next one.
What a beautiful video Seth. I feel like I was there. Your video reminds me that all the runners have their own stories and goals. Thank you very much for your incredible work in sharing that atmosphere!! Greetings from Tokyo.
I was there running, but having a bad day and feeling a little down on my declining running abilities... you just inspired me to toughen up and seek beauty!!!
Wow. This video gave me all the feels. You did a beautiful job of capturing the spirit of the Boston Marathon. I have no doubt you planted future unicorn seeds into the hearts of runners across the world. 🌱
Speaking as a Bostonian, Marathon Monday (and the weekend as a whole) encapsulates the best of our city: the end of winter (and winter training) and the start of Spring; the culmination of weeks of charitable fundraising; pride in the history of this race and our city; and the beautiful, abiding generosity that lies just under the tough exterior of our people. No region is as proud of its marathon than Boston is of hers, and this video captures that pride so well. You don't truly know about it until you experience it in person, and I'm so glad you came to see it for yourself, Seth. Next year, we'll be shooting slow-mo footage of you running the race! Onward!
Great comment! I just loved what you said here, and even as a New Hampshire native, I relate to it so much! We don't have any big cities to speak of, so Boston was always kind of my adopted hometown city ; )
That was one of the best videos Seth!! What a day Monday was. I absolutely love the Boston Marathon and you captured it beautifully 👌👌 Yes the weather was horrendous but I feel honoured to have run my 2nd Boston and will return next year 🦄🦄
Thank you Seth for posting a video that totally captured the feeling of what it must have been like to be out on the race course. I hope to run Boston some day. Videos like this help to inspire me to keep turning the doorknob.
Awesome! Awesome! Awesome! I ran Boston in 2015 and said I was one and done (too expensive for me). However over the past week or so; I have thought to myself, if my daughter is able to qualify in the future, I might have to rethink that and try to run it with her. This video made that desire even stronger (not sure if I should thank you or not)!
Awesome video. While we live in a crazy world, running just seems so simple and yet 10 years ago a few crazy people tried to destroy the innocence! We will never let that happen! Thank God we live in a country where we are free to run!
Seth, you did it! you made the most touching movie of this channel and all other running channels! I'm in London for the Marathon on sunday and was amazing to see and feel.. thanks a lot
Can’t believe we are only a week away from Boston again!! It was great to get to meet you at the group run last year! ❤️ My goal is to go sub 2:45 this year to get me into Berlin automatically next year!💪💪😎 I am hoping for big things and I am forever grateful for all the inspiration Seth!
Wow Seth, thank you so much for this. I don't know if I've ever cried watching one of your videos before, but THIS one!? Um, yes. A LOT. I can't wait to watch it again. I know you know this already, but you definitely have a gift. THANK YOU for sharing it with all of us.❤❤❤
Oh my word, I was not expecting that video Seth! I loved that format and it was so beautiful and so fitting for the day. I lived in Boston in 2013 and fortunately left my cheering spot on Boylston before the explosions. The race was heavy on my mind this year. Thank you for capturing the spirit of the day
Simply put "remarkable". It reinforces why we do what we do. Every kilometre and every potential minute gained. Everyone has their own journey, and you captured it beautifully. Thank you Seth.
Such a great video!! Amazing work! Took me back to when I finished my first marathon from getting amazing at the start to miserable during cramps and still loving the experience!
Deeply moving,…no words, great tunes, the slow-mo,…really brings out the emotions,… Showcases the love of the running community! Well done Seth!
Appreciate you tuning in Robert. We run on as one.
Loved seeing Kofuzi and Tony Macias at 13:24! Thanks for braving the rain to get this video made! What a day! Sage called it in his preview.
You were there when I needed you most. Thank you so much! It was great to see you again
This is the most beautiful Marathon footage I have ever seen. Thank you for getting out to the rain for these priceless moments!
The eye of your camera has reminded me that champions take many forms and travel at different speeds.

There's just something about a marathon that always brings tears to my eyes! Anyone running London - give us a wave and a cheer at Mile 21!

First BOSTON. Have yet to break 3 . CONGRATS! Have you dried out yet ?
Yes dried out finally but still might be a little cold from the walk back to the hotel.
I’m not crying you’re crying. Thank you Seth for so beautifully capturing the Boston experience. I cherish it and will keep coming back for as long as I can.
Quite possibly the finest video this channel has ever c̶r̶e̶a̶t̶e̶d̶ documented.
