I suspect that more capacitance won't really help. I think what you need is a high speed asynchronous rotary gap, maybe 300-500 bps. Spark length is proportional to sqrt(power throughput), so higher bps and the same bang energy means larger sparks.
Hi , I didnt want to add more capacitance , I just needed more in parellel so they can store more power . I will eventually be using a synchronous spark gap on there , thanks for your interest .
