Hi Joe . Hate to say this , but the insulation goes inside the studs and is the same thickness of the studs. Then a layer of plastic goes over that. For a vapour barrier to stop condensation. Other wise moisture will get traped in that gap.
Plants grow so well there always hot and plenty of rain most of the time. The province is so green, its beautiful. Living the dream Joe. 👍

Two-sided tape could hold up the insulation prior to installing the Hardi flex. The Hardi flex will sandwich the insultation to the studs. Construction adhesive is an alternative. Do it how you think will work, you know better since you're working with the materials at hand.

I know I insulate against the wall so there are no gaps easier plus you won't get condensation, but just my view looks good though work just seems never ending, 😊

As far as the insulation , I will NOT comment because I am not familiar with the materials there , cost aside , I read the comments and am not be disrespectul to anyone BUT the climate/humidity there will greatly affect what you can put on/in the walls.
JOE , you have shown us that you are capable of all things and honestly WE ALL MAY MAKE MISTAKES but we learn from them.
I see the yummy food JM makes , as far as PROSCIUTTO goes , I have never fried it , just eat it like it is , of course my preference.
The PROSCIUTTO imported from ITALY is supposed to be the BEST , I find it to salty ,so I get the domestic kind , here in USA. This stuff is UNHEALTHY but yummy.
