I hooted with delight here at that one! I think from the comments it landed everywhere but in the kitchen.
Please do more pass it on reaction videos starting from the beginning. Would be great to see you go back and look at the first season and see how far you've (not) come!
P.s. Mike's 200 degrees joke KILLED ME and I cannot work out why it didn't land. It was perfect
Pps Barry getting that badge proves this isn't about distinguishing chefs from normals like they said. That's a joke.
If he had a pastry badge going in to this video, he should've LOST IT for that performance.
For someone dressed like Elton John, Mike sure was keeping up with some great Queen puns. Fantastic work guys.
“I’m gradually taking my clothes off.” - Michael Brian Huttlestone, Sir Elton John Cosplayer, 2021.
What Barry couldn’t do with his Snape Costume, Mike will do it with his lol
I agree with what most people have said with regards to Barry getting the pastry badge. Probably not entirely deserved
Hmm so Ben corrected Barry at almost every step of his pastry making journey and it still wasn't perfect but he still gets the badge? ....okay
THANK YOU!!!
No matter how good or bad they do they always get the badge
It had to be said
Maybe because his patry tasted good?
Maybe because his patry tasted good?
Mike: "That hurt even me." - the way that I cackled! Also, I absolutely think that Mike deserved the win. As much as I love all of them, Mike has consistently shown improvement in the kitchen and he was very confident and even when the reducing went bad he didn't flaff around, but knew what to do. Well deserved, congrats!
The joke landed perfectly, Mike. I enjoyed it immensely.
Everyone's talking about Barry not deserving the badge, but can we talk about how impressive it is that Mike remembered the seasoning triangle from a couple of years ago?
I mean they use that just about every time they cook, not very hard to remember.
Yellow (Barry) + feathers (Mike) = chicken
Either brilliant coordination or a fabulous coincidence, but excellent either way 😂
I love that Mike and Barry are each wearing one earring from a pair
How on earth did barry win a pastry badge when ben had to remind him of almost every step?
Ben did not help out every step of the way, dude. Watch it again. Most of the time he was commenting on something Baz was already doing!
Of course he got his pastry badge, he was getting help from Ben 😂😂
If only we could see Ben, Jamie and James in costumes as well.. Imagine Elton John, Freddie Mercury, David Bowie, Prince and George Michael all together 😍
I'd sub Prince for Mick Jagger, keep them all English but it would have been amazing either way.
We're not sure the internet is ready for this.
@@SortedFood Well, at least ONE guy on the internet isn't.
Yes! Please 😍
@@SortedFood We'd gladly accept you all breaking the internet, if it means seeing James in a costume 😂
This one is going to Mike.
Barry struggled so much when the goal is to show both mastery and skill. That includes, fixing mistakes without outside input. Mike adjusted things on his own.
Barry had so much from the sideline that he didn't have to rely on or live up to his mistakes in this one.
Really cool that you guys managed to get Elton John for the final battle
We know right, what a kind man to come and join us.
I love how they’re sharing a pair of earrings ✝️
Without the boa and the glasses Mike looks like a Ken doll 😂
He does, doesn't he. But the looks suits him very well
Looks more like George Michael
Mike should get a badge for winning all three battles! 'Competitive Cooking' or 'Cooking under pressure' would absolutely be appropriate!
"pressure cooker" if you will... 😁
Badge criteria has dropped right off. At the start it was like nope some of the carrots arev2mm longer than the others no badge for you. Now it is like we will prevent you from making any mistakes by pointing every error out to you and as long as you don't totally mess is up you get a badge, you get a badge, everyone gets a badge!!!! Why didn't Jamie get a badge? Sure he did nothing but the other two got a badge last time for doing nothing too!
Ben's face at 11:07 after Barry days everyone else holds him back is PRICELESS.😂😂😂
Ben's like bro in literally handing you the badge just shut up 😂
Mike should get a badge for winning all three battles!
Also, he is still owed the special ingredient badge in my book.
These might be my favorite costumes in any battle!
Scratching my head a bit because Barry is on the top of badge numbers, but I'm not sure if he really earned the pastry or meringue badges since Ben helped him correct the pastry and he didn't do much with the meringue at all.
On the other hand Mike is still missing his unusual ingredients badge that he definitely earned.
By my count it should be Jamie and Mike tied at the top and Barry one badge behind, or maybe a 3 way tie if you insist on giving Barry the pastry badge because he DID successfully fix it even though he was helped a bit
I request Barry to make another pastry because he had a lot of help from Ebbers with this one ☝️
That "You are the champion, my friend" at the end was bizarrely heartwarming.
I did like it when Barry said, “You are the champion, my friend.”
But... the pastry badge, when he was coached through the whole process? Ehhhh...
👍
I will never get over them using Ben’s face as a censor bar when people curse 😂😂
Good job! I thought Mike's should win cause Baz had a few tips/reminders from Ebbers throughout
As an East Ender myself I love the 'mates for ever', 'down the pub' snippy, quick banter.
I can't even IMAGINE what Barry's pastry would have turned out like if Ben hadn't been helping every step of the way. Can we get a redo please without any external chef help?!
Ben did not help out every step of the way, dude. Watch it again. Most of the time he was commenting on something Baz was already doing!
@@deprofundis3293 it is enough that he measured the ingredients for him. How do u get a pastry badge when u couldn't sort out your ingredients. Besides everyone seems to agree he was hand held except you!
@@jemmaj2919 Actually he didn't measure the ingredients. He had portions set out for him, but they weren't measured. That's why he was like "You were supposed to measure the amount of salt you needed from that container, not put the whole thing in" Pure luck the proportions were close enough.
@@madock345 you are obviously undermining Ben's years of baking experience. You can easily guess portion sizes without a recipe just from experience. If this was done by someone without experience, they'll get it most likely wrong. So it isn't really luck.
Did you pun Imagine on purpose? ❤😂
Mike should get a badge just for winning every challenge so far! And improvement badge or cool under pressure badge lol
Aww Mike ! I’m glad the Boa came off, If you think having a hair in your food is bad ! Imagine tiny lil pink feathers !! I can feel them in my mouth !!
Those feathers got everywhere!
@@SortedFood you're going to be finding some for weeks, those things are as bad as glitter!
Wait how did Barry get a badge?? Ben held his hand the whole way through and even with all the direction, Barry still messed it up!
The collaboration of Elton John and Freddy Mercury live in your Kitchen! Now theres something off my bucket list!
I can't help but feel like they are being way too generous with the badges now. Its far more rare for them to not get them getting them at this point. With the amount Ben had to tell baz to do added with how it still did not turn out perfect, the fact he still got it is saying they have really lowered the bar for the badges.
I'm confuzzelled why Mike is even wearing a wig, like that's what his hair looks like always 😂
Mike' dishes are always so creative and somehow he rarely gets to be the winner so I'm so glad of the outcome. That sandwich looked really good. By the way, this cook book really excites me, I consider getting one even if some of the ingredients used are not available in my country.
5:50 I love how Jamie just had those glasses *ready* in his pocket
I died when Mike fluffed his boa aggressively over Barry's dish haha.
Being very generous with these badges now...
I love how Mike and Baz are each wearing one of a pair of gold earrings
Any plans to bring back the Big Night In series? That’s what brought me to the channel originally and I’d love to see it make a come back
Huge congratulations to Mike, he definitely deserved the win!
How Barry has won the last two badges is beyond me. Barry and Ben indeed must be the best of friends.
I'm feeling a biased attitude towards baz especially when ben is the one judging them
James:"Do we hold that against him or is that to be expected?"
The sass king is back!!! He has been missed!
Its not even four minutes after the update and i'm already looking in the comments to see if anyone has spoiled who the winner is XD
Ben getting too generous!! I didn't feel Barry deserved the badge, I wanted him to do well so badly, but I don't think he deserved the badge
I'm still shaking my fist at Barry getting the Meringue badge
I'm so proud of Mike! 3 incredible dishes and he should 100% get a badge for all 3 wins! Still cannot believe Barry managed to get a pastry badge for pastry that Ben had to help step by step through 🤣🤣
Giving out “pastry” (participation) trophies now!
Ben helped Barry to much with the pastry to give him the badge.
I agree
Mike and Barry look fabulous! Props to the Hair and Makeup and Styling.
Petition to take away Barry’s meringue and pastry badges, cheeky bugger got them without doing any of the work himself
👍
Seconded
Agree
The circlejerk continues
He also won another badge on naming spices by randomly screaming out the names
I would love to see a 'full day challenge'. They start at 10am, and have to have something ready by 6pm. Meaning they can slow-roast something, make dough, pastry, dessert, whatever, they can do as many courses as they like, the goal is just getting it all done around the same time.
Idk I don't feel like Barry should've gotten the pastry badge or the meringue badge before it lol
the level of sass during the coking process is over 8000 and James didnt even participate in that.. what a great Episode haha
Barry Defenitly didn't deserve the badge. Ebberz held his hand all the time. It's unfair to Mike. Really reallu unfair
The boys having matching earrings, how cute lol
Barry needed too much help to deserve that badge #TakeTheBadgeBack
Okay but the guys pulled off all these costumes through this series AMAZINGLY. I'm still blown away by Mikes Maleficent
I would love longer videos. The more details the better and your interactions are fun to be around, especially while quarantined!
