Pollak is on another level when it comes to impressions. His Peter Falk is perfect. The eyes and the hands are enough to convey complete recognition without saying a word and then the voice is exact in tone and slight smoky rasp. Pollak is a master at this comedic art.
By Far, One of The BEST Impressionists, Kevin Pollak, Whose William Shatner and Chris Walken are his crown achievements. His Woody Allen isn't too shabby, either!

There have been some great Walken impressions, but Kevin Pollak's is the best one I've ever seen.
It's Kevin and Jay Mohr. Nobody does it better than them.

No one does Columbo "Peter Falk" like you do Kevin. The eyes and hands are great and the voice is spot on!
He doesn't do many impressions, but the ones he does are the best.
Kevin is so great! How can one person be that perfect at all these impressions? He may have access to extraterrestrial technology. Be that as it may, beyond that, the man is brilliant at not only HOW to say it, but WHAT to say. I love the part when "Walken" says "...alleged comedian, actor, sooth-sayer..." ROFL! haha... alleged! too funny! Kevin, if you were any more entertaining, I'm quite confident you would need some sort of government permit. It can't be easy being the best, but you make it look that way. Thank you!

I'm reading his book now - funny stuff. His Albert Brooks story is great. His Brooks imitation is what got him discovered - it was his answering machine message.
His Shatner impression is the one that has inspired every other imitation. What's great of his Walken is that he doesn't do it high pitched like everyone else - a more relaxed Walken.
Was hoping he would do his KILLER Alan Arkin, but hearing Shatner after so many years was wonderful too...;)
His Peter falk is just spot on amazing 😂😅
As an actor, Pollak is a true talent. He's quite a brilliant and inspired impressionist too, but it's like when a magician who can actually levitate says, "And I also do card tricks!" Perhaps unsurprisingly, given his pod-cast/chat show experience, he writes with a casual intimacy and real humour. Reading him is like being in a conversation where the reader isn't obliged to say anything since he already knows what you'll ask. Unusually, and it's a mistake a lot of autobiographers make, he's not self-deprecating about his talents, but nor does he think they are anything other than matter-of-fact. (It's just what he does, it's not a big deal to him.) It is to us! Actor, comedian, presenter, commentator, impressionist, and now writer, Pollak can turn his mind to most anything. He can probably do fucking card tricks too. xx SF

I agree that Impersonators that have nothing else to stand them apart as valued members of society are worthless fkn Parrots that should be shot in the fkn head.
