    I tried tinting outside three days in a row and each time I was ready to put it on the breeze wouldn't stop blowing, and crows just wouldn't shut up. I had to rip the film all three times because small pieces of debris caused bubbles. There was one crow staying at the same spot on day two and three wouldn't stfu. Day three I left key in ignition so I can roll the window to adjust the tint, wind wouldn't stop again, again debris somehow landed from a tree, and then my car wouldn't start, battery low on juice. I had to walk 3 miles at 100 degree sunny day. Tinting has exhausted me mentally and physically last three days and im again starting from scratch.

    Englands flag style. Did you have to shrink the back hatch glass? Thanks

    Hey Patrick, love the channel and content! I'm new to the tinting industry and was wondering how do you know when heat shrinking is and isn't required on a window?

      You want to put the film on the glass and see how aggressive the fingers are prior to install. When you do enough cars you learn which ones need shrinking and which ones do not.

    How about the back window have a video for this same car?

    What was the Temp weather roughly? I would think the glass would heat up and make it hard to tint in direct sunlight

      Unfortunately I’m limited to what comes into the shop. But if one comes in I’ll do it for sure!

    Is there a reason you didn’t shrink the film before you installed it. Coming from a beginner tinter

    • @WindowTintingBusiness
      @WindowTintingBusiness  5 років тому

      The way I squeegee the film helps prevent fingers. Most cars don’t need shrinking if you install correctly. Center out and spread like the union flag 🇬🇧

    Going back to your old video In Florida what is the darkest tint you could do with the exemption. Also how much is the fee and how do you pay it?

    • @WindowTintingBusiness
      @WindowTintingBusiness  5 років тому

      With the exemption I believe they can go as dark as they want. At the moment my time is spread thin so I'm only doing ceramic installs and that starts at $400 and tops out at $600 depending on your vehicle.

    What do you ask for removing the tint. Me 1 to 5 years old car 150,- 6 to 10 years old car 200,- every older car 300,-

    • @WindowTintingBusiness
      @WindowTintingBusiness  5 років тому +2

      1-5 years $150.
      6-10 years $300.
      11+ years $450.
      Most people won’t pay $450 for removal on an old car and I don’t want to do it but if they pay then it’s worth it.
      Plus any cars more than 10 years old is a 50% up charge just for the tint.
      I never say no to people. I just charge so much that they mostly say no to me but if they say yes at least my time is well compensated.
