That Dagelman high speed disc is a nice tool. It sized that up nicely. I noticed that it was bouncing in areas , was it the field or was it just making a light pass and bouncing on the tires.
The farm just took over the field. The previous farm did not take care of the ground. They never fertilized and they let the ground wash. It had some big wash outs. The Degelman was great in filling in the ruts. The tractor really absorbed the rough ground.
Boss Set-Up...the tiller does a fine job from what I can see and for the tractor 8 gallons a hour of fuel @ 10mph...can't beat it with a stick...just in fuel savings in several years will cut much of the cost of owning it .
They are heavy duty. I have not had a chance to see a 40ft. I did film a 33ft on a 9620R and it put that tractor to working rolling in fresh cut corn stalks at 10 mph.
That's a great tractor. Bigtractorpower, the engine in that tractor is 12.4L right? International uses that same engine in some of their semi trucks. Large engine for a row crop tractor and great fuel economy.
The only thing I see 3pts being used for is on triple hay mowers. I think the reason the 3pt has not caught on here for many jobs are the 25,30,40, 45,50 and 60 ft implements used to farm. They are so wide they need to be drawn.
I don’t think any implement is going to work with a rock that size. It could not clear it if it’s bigger than a wheel. . Degelman makes a big claw to lift and remove rocks like that.
