Hi Everyone, We hope you enjoyed our video! Which travel trailer with a Murphy bed and Double Wide bunk beds did you like best? Do you prefer a small or larger travel trailer? Please say hello by leaving a comment below and sharing you opinion about these RVs!
I like the 1st starcraft trailer the best. Love that Murphy bed. No slide out means less weight , maintenance and future problems. The bunks are nice for guests and/or light storage. I really like the bathroom set up, with the sink separate from the main bath. I too would put in a shower sliding door. With all of this going for it, it also has a great price point! A perfect couples camper!
We agree! It's a great floor plan with all the important features. Slide outs can be a big hassle! Thank you for watching our RV tour video and commenting!
You could cut out a rectangular hole on the dinette seat ends, add a finish to edging and buy drawer fronts and Velcro them in, that way removable and accessible.
The Ember is great. The bunk storage area is well designed. Someone could easily store a kayak with the back hatch. The side access…. Wow. Another great episode Mike & Susan
The double bunk bed ladder could be hung over the bathroom door for storage and easily accessible. Put some rubber pads so it doesn't bang the door when moving.
Without question the StarCraft 20MB is one of the best travel trailers for the money that I've seen EVER. My ONLY dissatisfaction is that I don't care for the drab color scheme and would much prefer a more lively light beige or tan color. Otherwise the trailer was superb. Also, thanks so much for stating the weight capacities of the bunks, vital information that 99% of RV reviews leave out!
Glad you like our reviews and the bunk weights! Our viewers left enough comments that we started to add that weight in our tours. Thanks so much for watching! Mike
The Ember is Ah-mmaaaziiing! It's very well thought out and has nice touches not seen in other travel trailers! To be completely perfect it would need an oven. However, overlooking the lack of oven, out of 5 stars, I'd give it a 6!
That's a pretty awesome score! Agree about the oven. It might've been convection but wasn't labeled. That can be a great compromise. Thank you for watching our RV tour video and commenting.
All three seem nice. Of course the Ember is the nicest. I agree with another’s comment though…it should have a convection/ microwave oven instead of a regular microwave.
I like the last one the best. It looks like you could take those bunks out entirely which is what I would do and turn that area into an office and storage room. The only thing I don't care for is the slide. If it did not have a slide it would be perfect for me.
Love that Ember floor plan. That bunk area is a great space. Slide outs are a big pain unfortunately. Thank you for watching our RV tour video and commenting!
Approaching a cost of $70K, I found it a bit disappointing that the Ember brand did not offer an oven despite being the longest of the three models shown.
It is possible the Ember had a convection oven but the labeling wasn't clear, that is some kind of compromise. They focused a lot on their storage ability which was pretty sweet! Thank you for watching our RV tour video and commenting.
Agree! 🙌 Glad to see manufacturers thinking outside the box and making RV features multi-functional. Thank you for watching our RV tour video and commenting!
The Ember floor plan has some pretty awesome features for sure. The Starcraft Autumn Ridge has all the great features and without a slide out! Thank you for watching our RV tour video and commenting!
Why do they have a step up in the showers? I'm sure they could plumb things differently. They should think of the taller buyers that go up to 7 ft tall. By The way thanks for using a measuring tape 😂. So many reviewers that are short walk in to shower and say plenty of room. Not for someone who is 6.5 tall and 333lbs. Also it would be nice if it's mentioned what they make the shower sub floor of. Can it take the weight without breaking drain seals. Thanks for the great video
Manufacturers have to be careful not to have the shower plumbing too low under the RV flooring. Usually they installed a raised skylight to compensate for head room. You're welcome about the tape measure. We will be shooting video next week at the Hershey RV show and one of topic will be TT for taller folks. We'll see if we can find info about the shower floor. Thank you for watching our RV tour video and commenting.
Agree! The Ember is a great floor plan but the MSRP may seem a bit high. Wondering what the negotiated sales price would be. Thank you for watching our RV tour video and commenting.
Ember Overland 221msl love the roof window and EU style shade with bug shade. I wish they used these in all camper windows like Lance does. Also, if they removed the storage behind the sofa, they could have a proper sofabed that folds into a queen bed. What do you think 🤔🤔🤔?
I think you are right about that. There's a decent amount of storage in that camper you could do away with that section have a queen or short queen! Really great features you have point out. Thanks!
A shower should be an option instead of a tub/shower. Some of us older people don’t move as well as younger folks. Manufacturers should show where their trailers can be rented. We have only been able to rent a few trailers, but they were already set up on site. Am not impressed with the “new” trailers that we rented. Fit and finish leaves a lot to be desired, after a few months of use. But I am impressed on your presentation on the trailers.
I recommend you check out Outdoorsy toi rent an RV. It's the AirBnb of campers. Here's a link so you can save a few bucks too. goto.rvblogger.com/Outdoorsy
Thanks Susan and Mike, great reviews. First two, meh. The Ember is nice except for the kitchen. The cooktop is in the wrong place, the window and blinds becomes a splatter area, and, it needs a convection microwave. Also also, you're slippin' Mike. You neglected to measure the first Murphy bed, lol.
I think the Ember bunks are interesting, but I wonder how difficult they would be to wrangle into place, also, where do you store the tables when not in use? And, where do you put your shampoo in the Ember shower? I like the Starcraft Autumn Ridge, but that sink is just too big unless it has a sink cover, and shower curtain? Yuck, lol Take care, be well. Thanks for all the great videos. Happy and safe travels.
The bunks did appear a bit complicated in the short time we were there looking. Dinette storage - great question. Sometimes they are stored behind sofa but there was storage there. Yuck to the shower curtain!!!! 🤣 Thanks Gigi!
Nice camper trailer. The mattress could be swapped out for a Split mattress, meaning they made it with a fold. If put in right once folded straight you shouldn't feel the split section. I'd rather have a sofa instead of a dinette, as it's too short for a bed.
Certain Murphy beds have bad fold locations that might be noticeable, but there's always a work around. I'm with you on the no dinette!!! Thank you for watching our RV tour video and commenting.
The FR Surveyor... the drawer above the vacuum has some real shoddy nail work there... and that microwave on the floor... odd setup! The last is big.. but $66,000... I'd just buy a used Class B!
My son is 78 inches tall, he wouldn't fit bunks under 80 inches long. Central Vac is great in a house, waste of space in a caravan, you can sweep right out the door.
He is tall and needs a residential Queen size bed! 😲 Central vacs in a larger RV makes more sense than a smaller camper but to those that love a gimmick...this is a good one. Thanks for watching and commenting!
I've noticed that most of your videos I've watched do a pretty good job describing interiors, but the outside descriptions leave something to be desired. Such as: do they have ceiling fans? Are they powered? Ladders included? Rear bumper for carrying and/or towing? Outdoor kitchens? Pass through storage? Sealed heated underbodies? Suspension system? Docking station? Solar situation? All these and more should be covered, in my opinion. I've just watched a dozen of your videos and none of these areas were covered.
Thank you for your support! It is true we focus mainly on floor plan. That has become our niche. We try to keep our tours brief since we include 3 and sometime more RVs in each video. If we include all the information available our videos would be an hour long. Our hope is that if someone sees a floor plan they like they can do a bit more research to answer questions we don't cover in the video. We do typically include information like outside storage and kitchens but not some of the more tech info, we don't always have access to that information. Sorry, we do appreciate your support!
Murphy beds suck! The mattresses will kill you. And you can not put a heavier mattress because it will not fold up. Stop this junk reviews and start talking about real good trailers that will be comfortable. This has been an ongoing issue with you all. You said you were going to move to the bigger better ones. But you haven’t.
You seem a bit angry. Have you owned a camper with a Murphy bed to experience if they suck? Dinettes are junk? Maybe unnecessary but I wouldn't call them junk.
I don't trust anyone that promotes RV sales for half ton trucks, when it's truly unsafe. Yes It's a scary industry today's, so do your home work and you will have better experience traveling, camping and getting down the roadway very safely with the family. Happy Camping 🏕
We always tell our viewers and readers to know the tow capacity of your vehicle and to be safe only tow 80% of that capacity. Thank you for watching our RV tour video and commenting.

The ember actually made me gasp with all the smart features
IKR! They have really raised the bar! Thanks for watching our RV tour video and commenting!
LOVE the last Overland one!! Love the open areas that you can lower the screen and get to all that space. The adjustable bunks are awesome!!
Ember did an amazing job with that floor plan! Love it! Thank you for watching our RV tour video and commenting!

Me too
I like ember trailer.👍🌈🙏😇💕
We think the Ember 221MSL is an awesome floor plan! That storage is amazing! Thanks for watching our RV tour video and commenting!
You could cut out a rectangular hole on the dinette seat ends, add a finish to edging and buy drawer fronts and Velcro them in, that way removable and accessible.
That's a great point! Thanks for sharing that idea!

Another great episode Mike & Susan
We just loved that Ember floor plan! So many different and great features. Thank you for your continued support!
If I had to pick one it would be the last one. However I am out of the rv stuff thanks for the ride along.
The Ember floor plan is pretty awesome! No longer interested in RVing? Thank you for watching our RV tour video and commenting.
The double bunk bed ladder could be hung over the bathroom door for storage and easily accessible. Put some rubber pads so it doesn't bang the door when moving.
Another great tip! Thanks Technocrat!

love the ember model
That Ember was pretty sweet! Thank you for watching our RV tour video and commenting.

The Ember is just about perfect! Love the dual sofas and the overall layout and smart features! But, no pizza oven?
"Pizza oven sold separately" 😂 Ember does a really great job with their floor plans! Thank you for watching our RV tour video and commenting.
I really liked the last one with the adjustable bunk beds
The inTech Expedition is a great floor plan! Thank you for watching our RV tour video and commenting!
I like the idea of adjustable bunk beds.😊
Agree! 🙌 Glad to see manufacturers thinking outside the box and making RV features multi-functional. Thank you for watching our RV tour video and commenting!
I really like those adjustable bunks.
The Ember did a great job with that bunk setup. Thanks for watching our RV tour video and commenting.
I really like the first RV with the best of 3 murphy beds, but the last bunks with open screen and adjustable beds is ideal.
The Ember floor plan has some pretty awesome features for sure. The Starcraft Autumn Ridge has all the great features and without a slide out! Thank you for watching our RV tour video and commenting!

Great feature fails you pointed out in the kitchen! Good to note! Can't believe we didn't measure. 🤔🤣 Thanks Tuvia!

Ember was dope an all, but they need a reality check on that price. I went with the Rockwood. Couldn’t pull the trigger on the Ember
Understandable. Love the Ember RVs but they do have a high MSRP. Thank you for watching our RV tour video and commenting. We appreciate your support!

Kind of pointless to have a Murphy bed when one can sleep on the pull down couch.
As long as the jack knife sofa is large enough and comfortable, that is definitely an option. Thank you for watching our RV tour video and commenting.
Get rid of dinettes!
Agree! Got videos about them too! 😉 Thank you for watching our RV tour video and commenting.

David I think you only seem to be watching the tours we are doing of smaller campers. Why is that?
You seem a bit angry. Have you owned a camper with a Murphy bed to experience if they suck? Dinettes are junk? Maybe unnecessary but I wouldn't call them junk.
