Finally - first public transport implemented in the region of Coniferia (The first of lots more!) - linking up the currently biggest urban settlement, The City of Pine Harbour - with the biggest suburb (or is it a town by now?), Tagfield. Ridership is terrible (35-45 passengers a week) so definitely money well spent. I would be broke before placing my first powerline if I had to adhere to the budgetary management of this game.. More pics if interested: imgur.com/gallery/hkekHAY Next up: BUSES! Hope you've all had a wonderful week, thank you so much for watching! Best regards, Infra
The fact that you’re so detail oriented is what makes you & this city so amazing! I really love the mix of videos so we get speedbuild, let’s play etc 😊 Also your voice is super soothing 👌🏻
Have a look at this track on the workshop: "Railway Main Line Embankment Gravel Wooden", they have a raised realistic looking shape and they match this old wooden style of your railway nettwork, and if you have a river, here are two beautiful old looking railway bridges: "Railway Remagen Arch Bridge (Wooden Ties)" and more USA style: "RAILWAY 2 - Fourteenth Street Bridge".
Thank you so much Pajik, really glad you enjoyed it - I've got a good feeling about the bus network as well - hype! 🤓 And we will need much more rail in the future as we expand and build new cities!
Woah, Infrastructurist! SO COOL to see you back building cities and making videos for the community. You were the person that inspired me to get into CS, so I'm thankful for you and excited to see you're back! As for the next City Council vote. I think selling the property would be a wise decision, as it sits on lucrative property. That said, because the park has been a part of the community for the last couple of generations, I believe the city should require at last 1/3 of the space to become a modern park/green space that is open to the public year round. If we move forward with selling the property, every proposal should include a public-private partnership to include a more modern green space. Can't wait to see what happens in the future of Coniferia, Pine Harbor, and the whole of your channel!
Jack Whidden! Really awesome to see you are still on board, and that I have made a positive impact!! Thank you so much for the support, really happy that you enjoy the new content and will engage with it - thank you for the suggestion! 😊😊🥂
i aspire to build a downtown like this! it's really difficult to make a natural feeling that looks like there's been development/redevelopment over the years
I love this train line as I'm a fan of trains, Coniferia is growing amazingly, excited about next episodes and city expansion.! One suggestion i wanna share is making a separate cargo line for cargo services.!
road or railway could be sunken at the intersection between both. add a small bridge on it. It would be more sweet and realistic :D just for example: Small Railway Bridge at Kennishead
Maybe you should disconnect the railway intersection (and maybe detail it to look like it once was connected) to force freight trains to take the other route and not through the downtown?
I probably would lower the speed limit on the train tracks between tagfield and pine harbor and the train definitely accelerates too quickly - you were totally right to think of lowering the acceleration and braking rates of the train in AVO! given the length of the line it'd probably make sense to only have one train on the line as well
New logo! Also, I think maybe some a good name for the harbour/industrial area is "Bridle Wharf", though you might think that that works better for just the industrial quarter. Story behind it, let's get interesting ;) Important historical figure of the harbour! Walther Briedel, grandson of immigrants from Germany, over time the family name got bastardised to 'Bridle' was a very influential factory owner of a few buildings around 85 years ago. His legacy includes much of the current layout of the docks and supporting factories, and later in life turned to politics and helped ratify laws and policies that let Pine Harbour's fishing industry flourish in a modernising world. To honour his passing, the City Council voted to name the district in his honour
Yeah I might need some community help with logos and banners hahaha - not exactly a graphics wizard here :'D Damn, that is a very nice proposal Yalovllev - thanks a bunch!
@@Infrastructurist Really like the look of the new logo, and the style of thumbnail too with this video. Not that the old style was boring, but it's a fresh look!
I am not good at graphical stuff, so really glad to hear that Tristan! thanks! Now I just need to create a nice high resolution banner for the channel as well!
My suggestion for the park (or a similar lot in case you already did it in a later video) is a private professional education hub for logistics, economics and marketing to honour the history of the spot. Also, small villages can have a bit of agriculture and forestry jobs. Suburbs might have garage or low density residential assets converted to 1-2 job offices
9:50 instead of lowering the land there you could’ve had the train go into a short tunnel as it left the station, would’ve played into the hilly nature of the terrain.
As a citizen of Pine Harbour, I disagree with the Downtown Park being removed. Its a very iconic part of this city and would be completely tragic to this cities history if it were to be removed
I think the train station downtown should be it's own district maybe it could be a more new/modern redeveloped area while the port is a more historic area that might be cool since you are adding in rail now i'd assume the station is newer. I also think one of them should be a themed entertainment or tourist district (maybe entertainment now tourist when you add regional trains)
Hi IAM IRIE, thanks for the suggestion. Hmm, that would be interesting - I think the closest we have gotten so far is the high density residential complex we built in episode 7: ua-cam.com/video/aDtc8dHl-bI/v-deo.html But I feel we need more 70s/80s apartment blocks!
Hi Kamran! I think I mention in the episode that the railway predates the highway - so I found it more natural that the highway would have to either tunnel or overpass across the trail tracks. Does that make sense? Thanks for watching!

Amazing.
Please redevelppe these „Eco-Houses“ with the solar panels near the train station
1:10 Well that Truck just did ... something.
An idea for some "development", how about a small tramloop in the downtown? Something in the likes of Kenosha
The angled parking spaces at tagfield station are facing the wrong way for cars to easily park and leave, just a thought

You use a eletric train on a no eletric power track....good video!!
I just subscribed nice looking city
You should change to a rail track that has electricity running above it since the passenger train runs on electricity, it looks weird now
Maybe call the harbour Pine harbour, I know it’s a basic name but I think you don’t need a really good name for it.
Do the workshop have any road construction assets and construction 🚧 vehicles
Call it “Jersey harbor n freight”
Or just Jersey harbor or Safeway harbor
The goat is back
i would love to play the game in the same mods and assets that you have, it looks so beatiful!! there is any way i can get it??
Yey public transportation
v nice ty for sharing :)
Create a Soviet appartment style city, station and a Village at a distance

Thanks Nirasa - glad you enjoyed it! 😇
I am new to the channel but my Name suggestion is... Blue Water Harbour....
What about a parcel/cargo company from abroad that wants to build a distribution center (maybe a made up in universe company name)
Oh, good suggestion! Thanks!
You have a new logo!
39:35 HOW DO YOU ADJUST THE HEIGHT OFF PROPS!! Im searching for a solution for years!! pls tell me 😩😩
