    11:00 -- I've had it both ways. I've looked at satellite pics of places that looked tiny and I got there and they had PLENTY of room. I've also had the opposite. I learned something very helpful at the tightest docks I ever went into. I realized that when it looks like my dry van is about to it my fairings, I still have a quite a bit more ability to jackknife it tighter--just hard on trailer tires even if you are light or empty.

  • @LOYALONESTILL
    @LOYALONESTILL Місяць тому +2

    Great job wheeling those tight spots. Strange farmer would not load. Looks like maybe just standing/leaning to supv you loading. Glad other farmer did unloading with conveyor machine. Seems like learning what farmers want or expect for trucking fees. Would add fees to manual labor and time you spend if not already factored. Nice folks that gave you food though. I would always help peeps like that. Long as food was safe and good! Glad nice truck stop to rest and recharge. Sure it made a big difference. Please stay smart and safe!

    those were what hay bales looked like when I was a kid, we grew hay, just to sell tractor trailer loads,, we had a bale elevator to load the truck, seems like I remember driver had a special way of piling bales on the truck and the the top was layers were stacked wider than that the trailer deck. I remember drivers rejecting bales before too. normally from piles of hay that were outside, rather than inside stored bales. My father would call the school and tell them we had a family emergency, then I would come home from school to load a truck with hay.

  • @JoeParlous
    @JoeParlous Місяць тому +1

    For your first time loading hay, you did a pretty decent job of it! Gotta say too, Lita looks like a pretty good cook with what she has in the truck! You are very inconsiderate of other drivers as they are trying to sleep with having your headlights on as your parking in a lit parking lot, not cool at all! Also, you are very lucky that Mack-e didn't go after that chicken or that would have probably been your last load of hay! Roll on son!

  • @MyCousinVini
    @MyCousinVini Місяць тому +1

    Hay starts on fire. They probably thought those ones had a higher probability of starting on fire, due to not being dried out all the way. Hay gets hot while it sits and dries. That why you see farmers leave them in a field for a long time. So they can dry out AND if they start on fire, they do that shit in the field instead of in the barn.

We need both political parties to come together along with the smart people to find some answers. A divided political standoff is not going to be healthy thing and having a Trump administration and their Project 2025 policies would add millions to this crisis. I really didn’t know how you were going to pull it off you really need to get a sliding axle on that trailer so you can at least pull one actual forward. This is why I never like those Brad axles. I never see the benefit to them. • @JC-uq5gi
    @JC-uq5gi Місяць тому

    There's nothing lazy about becoming homeless. It happens quickly, and your options run out fast. Some people didn't have many options from the jump. I know it's not a pleasant thing to encounter someone who may not have bathed recently or washed clothes recently. But brother, they all started out as innocent children, and to attribute the fact that they're homeless to laziness is ignorant.
    Some folks just get a bad role of the dice. There is such a thing as bad luck, and God bless the folks who have had to deal with it during their time on this rock.
    Yes, you're noticing a lot more homeless these days. That's what happens when you print $11 trillion and dump it on the economy in a 3 month span. This all stems from the actions taken in 2020. Keep drilling down, Robert. You have plenty of time to think.
