    2 things. Firstly it’s a real treat watching a master at his craft and secondly it’s amazing how much abuse that wrap can take when being applied and still look good

      He's not a master buts he's good forsure. Real wrappers take off badges and trims to get a complete look that won't fail in 20 days.that corner around the GTR fender badge will peel back. I wrap professionally

      I am color blind to greens primarily and yeah... Looks silver to me.
      I can typically tell when it's supposed to be something else, I'm only minorly colorblind.

    I had it done on my Corvette , it wasn't as shiny, so i had it removed . Nothing like the factory Shine .

    i really hope you take the time to make those cuts under the hood look nice and not just leave it like that.. in case the owner ever pops the hood if he does an engine build or even doing any kind of work under the hood that would still bother me

    I can't even wrap christmas presents right. They look vaguely box-shaped with duct tape stitched diagonally over wrinkle canyons. Anyways, would you hire me as an employee?

    I like that tool that is shoving the wrap under the trim. I only have little L shaped pusher that is a pain to hold for long periods of time.

    That wrap looks really good. Usually you can see the peel in vinyl and you know right away that it isn't paint.

    Wow that's probably the must frustrating thing I could possibly imagine doing lol.. good God mine would not look like that when I was finished.. I'd have a hand full of random peices stuck on, ripped in spots and a giant ball of expensive wrap on the floor..

    I'm impressed. What's the green line tape you're using? To cut a clean line? It makes a lot of sense. Not seen anyone else do it. It looks like a fishing wire looking thing but taped. Very smart

    My only gripe is the knife work on plastic and the paint. I’d be pissed if I got scratches and cut marks

      Doing it properly should require removing the bumper and lights but it's a true rush job. Hopefully he discounts his work compared to a real shop for the result.

    looks so good, can you do a vieo showing how to wrap mirror caps, ive try DIY but it lifts at the edge and is a bit difficult.

    Great vid. I tried wrapping my car for the first time. Just the trunk and it was havok. The material was getting holes just from the initial glassing stage before i applied heat. It was 3m 2080 satin dark grey. Is this bad material or was I too rough with it? The way I see people treat the material on this vids is far more than what I was doing.

      Probably true. When you are doing the hood and you glass it do you need to leave the too and bottom part open so that you can release the air when you squeegee up and down?
