I am really enjoying all these deep dives into the top 25 positional teams it’s awesome it’s really give me a much better feel and I feel like it’s going to give me a fuller more satisfying regular season with all this extra knowledge and appreciation and understanding, etc. that being said, I think I really can’t wait for is the match up what you guys are claiming with what really happens it’s gonna be fun/funny go sleepers😂❤
I think it's spot on that you need 20 points out of this group, but i don't think it matters on the splits. Just depends on who can do the other things, defend / rebound.
Totally agree regarding Heide, Cart. Dude is a beast and has a path to the NBA. Just needs to hunt his shot more, his athleticism and defensive prowess is just insane. It’s there for Colvin too but - not as much as it is for Cam.
@@colebucket6009 he hasn’t shown any bit of handling really, neither has heide but both mentioned at the start of summer that they were going to be working on their handles, cam even emphasized a mid range pull up off the dribble. I would like to see some handling from each of them
I like Heidie’s upside bc he is athletic and has a great wing build. But the suggestion of a 1st rd talent is a bit of a reach. A lot of really good players went in the 2nd rd or went undrafted this past draft. I think he still needs to become a better ball handler and 3 level scorer on O and work to be a good low post defender especially if he is going to play some of the 4 this year
@@AngryBoilerFan gicarri Harris and Colvin are the exact same age. Colvin was super young last year. I watch a lot of nba. He glides around and just moves more like a pro. Elevates on his jump shot , really smooth around the rim. Not positive he will make the league either but he has a better chance to me
I think Colvin and Heidi will have breakout years with Edey's departure as the overall offensive scheme will be different. TKR is under 7' so that's small ball for Purdue, that is if Painter isn't sand bagging the 5 spot.
Greg said a while ago that he thinks Heide has some shit to him and can be a real fucking DUDE. He seems to have switched his view completely since what, April or May when that video was made.
Biggest question. Can Heidie be better in every aspect of his game? Can Miles play defense and not look lost out on the court other than when he gets the ball and jacks up shots? Now I somewhat disagree with your guys assessment. I see TKR at the end of this year playing the 4 and probably Heidie at the 3. I see Purdue playing one if the 7'2" or 7'4" guys at the 5 and for them to be really good they need one of those two big men to step up. The thought of TKR playing huge minutes at the center position, scares me as a Purdue fan. Now perhaps he does play the 5, but you have a Ralph Sampson type of guy playing the 4. That could work as well, but I just don't see Purdue not having one of their 7 foot guys in the game a lot when the season really gets going.

IMO I think Colvin has a way better path to the league. Much better ball handler , I think he can play shooting guard so has better positional size
