I’d like to see them address some of the offensive stagnation issues in these next couple games. They just gotta give some other guys some confidence putting the ball on the floor and getting to the hoop. Too many low % shots to compete with the upper echelon of teams and TK is the only guy shooting at the rim. Teams crank the pressure, cheat passing lanes, and they end up running their sets from half court with 11 seconds. Outside of the physical limitations, a lot of what’s “wrong” with this team is between the ears.

The clips I've seen of Humrichous at Evansville show he had/has a much more diversified offense than just shooting from beyond the arc. Why doesn't BU try to run some of that with him?

People that think Jacobson would have made a big change to this lineup is naive. Not Dissin the guy, he would have brought options but not sure its the game changer some are saying.

I don't need the rotation trimmed. The problem with this team is that we still don't have a good center. I don't trust Kohler to defend a good opposing big. And that means Cooper and Zapala have to stay in the picture until we play a few more good centers and get to see what our centers look like against them. If they all are about equal on defense, then Kohler should start to get more minutes because of his offense and rebounding. And while I'd like more Booker and Carr minutes, I don't think either of them can be effective defending at the 5. Fidler isn't fun to watch but he gets to the line. If he can get back to rebounding well, then that earns his minutes for now. I also just really don't think playing players 30+ minutes a game is good strategically. We ultimately care about them in the NCAA tournament. I think our best players will be healthier with fewer minutes. If they are wearing teams down now, imagine what it will be like when all those teams are playing on tired legs. And someone may get injured anyway. So it's great to have people who we can just boost the minutes of if there is an injury.

Lack of positional size is a problem for Purdue. The loss of Jacobsen has set fire to Painter's blueprint for this season. It's showing up both in their defensive FG% allowed, but also on the defensive glass. There is slim margin for error for this team to beat good opponents. They must continue to shoot well from deep and they must limit turnovers.

Dug McDaniels needs to transfer at the end of the semester. Tang has no clue as a head coach. He was lucky he had Nowell a couple of yrs ago because he ran the team. K State was supposed to 2 deep at Every position. Then they loose one bench big, and put the blame on him. Now it's on Dug. Dug should have gone to a top 20 legitimate program bur instead he accepted the NIL funds at a program that is a bottom feeder. Folks in the DMV wished he leaves imediately.
