I like judges that aren't crooked or biased. Scotus judges should have an 8 year term limit and should be elected by the voters. Also, while we're making America great again, an impeached president should not be allowed to run for a second term.

It was inevitable. The whole political system in the US has no vetting foundation other than people voting for individuals. Anyone, regardless of how unqualified on every level, can run for a seat in Congress or the White House. And from there, judges are nominated and approved - regardless of how unsuitable or unqualified they are. The rot stems from the roots.
I happen to think that all judges should be nominated, vetted and approved by an independent council, perhaps consisting of former judges and law scholars. They screen the candidates careers and decide if they are suitable. From the lowest court to the highest court.
They way it is now, with one party being not only utterly corrupt but un-american and downright fascistic, you get maga trash like thomas and alito on the supreme court and cannon down in floriduh actively trying to squash the documents case for trump - because he appointed her and she hopes to be rewarded with a scotus promotion down the line.

Unless SCOTUS is held to the highest standard of the law, there can be no confidence in them to maintain the rule of law when ruling on ANY case at all.
