My wife was an epidemiology nurse for years. She has always maintained that Trump’s most egregious wrongdoing in her eyes was his COVID negligence. I agree.
And the weird thing is, there was no reason to make it political. A lot of countries didn't. In fact, if he'd handled it better, he could have won the 2020 election by leading the country through the crisis.

There are lots of kids who lost one (or both) parents.
My God - I literally can't believe this! How is it even possible that, under 'one' four-year Presidential 'Reign' (apart from the obvious 'Principal') - SO MANY other leading members (including his own family) of his 'administration' are potentially facing such serious legal jeopardy? Let us hope and pray that the US Justice system (DoJ) has the moral courage and determination to pursue 'every avenue' of indictment and prosecution towards each and every one of them!

Australia also had it's first covid case Jan 20th 2020. And on a per capita basis, Australia's death rate was 90% less than the USA.
And we were called sheep and wimps by RW Americans. Yet all public health responses and policies in Australia had 62 to 87% approval rating but most important. We saved as many lives as possible because while Americans said "My rights..."

Read a piece by one of the young folks hired to do the early covid stuff on Jarrod's crack new team. They were put in a room and told to find PPE. No training, no coaching, no guidance.
Gosh, I'd forgotten about them trying to source PPE. Wonder how much rubbish they bought in the end, or how much money was appropriated ...
The states and hospital groups were paying exhorbitant prices, essentially bidding against each other, for scarce PPE only to have the feds, under Jared and college bros direction, confiscate the shipments. The feds then sold that PPE to the states they chose by trump loyalty (a$$ ki$$ing) rather than data driven need. The original buyers funds? POOF!

when prosecutors fail, civil liability is most assuredly going to be sought. and i am sure that there are some young attorneys out there already preparing class action papers.. If this documents and historical record can prove this as simply as these three steps, civil liability will have a lower bar.. so it seems like this is probably going to end up as a civil case rather that criminal at first. then maybe the prosecutors gain some nerve and serve them up to a grand jury...

I thought the same. Remember the clip of DeSantis telling those kids they didn't have to wear em, to take em off, it looks ridiculous and they don't help anyway? Those kids parents may have told them to wear masks and he completely disrespected them as parents. He is just as bad as Trump and God help us all if he gets in the oval office.
Or even if they brought charges-his defense would have to include all those tapes of him lauding the vaccines and encouraging people to get vaccinated. What a great way to point out his hypocrisy and to out himself for his pandering.
