This is what I say to my customers very simple any windows hard to get to or dangerous I tell them I'm using a pure water system which connects to their water supply and after goes tru my system comes out pure water no spots on the glass I tell them they well look wet for a few minutes but they well dry spotless and they be perfect!! I had never had any issues but I always talk to my customer when I do my bid so they not surprised!! Knowing how to approach customers is huge they love to see a wise experience window cleaner👍👍
I’ve been using water fed poles, starting with an old school 60’ Tucker with the tablets inside the Amulet , for over 25 years . Jobs that initially took (2) average window guys 8 hrs of laddering, took only 1 guy 3-4 hrs by himself. It literally changed the game! Now these newer systems that are light weight, and even more pure are serious money makers . A boar hair w/ rinse bar, 3/8 into tiny pole hose with a multi stage is miraculous. Plus it’s quicker, safer, and also cleans the frames . I don’t know about all that talk of every job , but it’s very efficient on large jobs and tough ones with trees or shrubs in the way 👍
LOVE our WFP set up! Safer, more efficient cleaning. PLUS we are able to clean the frames during the same cleaning WITHOUT an upcharge to the client. This helps the windows stay clean for longer.
You hit the nail on the head Steve. It filters the water so it's pure and dries spotless, Sir or Ma'am. It's quicker and it keeps me safe on the ground... You said it all. Most people don't even ask what method I use. I have had some asked me if it is a pressure washer system and I quickly explain what it does and that's it. Great video.
Excellent video. I have always found that being kind and briefly explain the WFP system. I always tell them it's safer for us and that it they aren't happy with how the windows came out I would come back and touch up any problems. Only had a few call backs. (Wouldn't have had a call back if my fish changed the DI resin lol) Have a great day Steve o !
someone asked me once what we put on the windows because pros seem to get the window to stay clean longer. its now whats one them its what is not on them. a little soap residue is not visible. but it can attract dust and it becomes obvious. ever see some terribly cleaned windows? they looked good enough when they were cleaned. but when they get dirty again every wipe is visible. perfectly clean glass has nothing that creates a static electric charge to attract more dust. so its harder to develop.
I pretty much explain it simply with how you said it. But I do mention it’s not for all windows. Windows that are extremely dirty that need to be scraped and buffed with a wool pad, water fed isn’t the right application. First initial clean will be traditional then WFP next visit. The only thing that sucks down here in S.Florida is oxidation on the frames. When there’s heavy oxidation, I don’t even touch the windows with the pole, I do it trad
My windows are perfect when I clean them traditionally. That’s what your detailing cloth is for mate 100 % perfection. I like the water fed pole it’s easier to teach and a million times quicker and safer. But you don’t leave a better product.
We are so unbelievably lucky here. If you TDS test water coming straight off a customers tap you're looking at between 8-11 ppm, usually trending closer to around 9. You could quite literally use no filter of any kind and end up with clean windows. We still use a DI but it's really more for appearances than anything.
What I say is we use the most advanced window cleaning equipment. Is a system that removes all the sediment out of the water and leaves your windows virtually spotless. I also say nothing is perfect unless you buy a new window. I've also explained it its is a portable water softener.
Love your content and looking to get into the business. Wanted to know if you could do a video on various types of windows? Example: double hung, storm etc...not a lot of videos on that sort of thing. Thank you

Can I ask how come you don’t use a pole for oxidized windows? I’m new to cleaning
We just say "spot free" window wash 👍🏼

Its the same product when the correct technique is used. I find it funny that some just can not figure it out.

So, you don't use any kind of cleaning solution with these systems? The water itself us good enough to get the windows clean?
Nope just agitation of the brush and pure water to rinse
Has any customer had a problem using their water? or have they asked for a discount since your using their water?
Nope never had that come up
So you can't use watter out of a hose?

I like this
Do you guys use on site water or do you supply your own water
On site water, there are options for bringing your own water too
do you use this on every house or only on certain houses??
Most homes, except construction cleans
What should we keep in mind when deciding where the waste water should go? Away from lawns, plants, etc? Any other considerations? Thank you Stevo!
Tejbir Singh I just try to find the best place for it not to create a puddle, in the lawn, bushes are always a good place
@@SteveOthewindowcleaner will the high TDS run off hurt plants or grass?
Tejbir Singh no I don’t believe so
@@SteveOthewindowcleaner thank you, I really enjoy being subscribed to your channel and learning from your experience.

I know what your talking about, literally just figured out how to fix it today, new camera has had a learning curve to it. Thank you for mentioning it
Just say " its like the water filter tap in your kitchen"
Ten plus Steve-o for the info and please Steve-o boy tell me the brand of your glasses please please haha 😆
What do you do about water getting in between the double panes? Leaks and broken seals? Do you use water fed pole on first time cleans?
It only gets inside the panes or inside the home or business if the integrity of the window frame is cracked.
Ghostbusters 😂
Thanks good advice again
good one
I ordered the fan jets. I hope.....
