Hey I am probably the most recent person asking for your advice on belt setup. Thanks for making this video! I know you get paid as a sales rep, but you went above and beyond a few weeks ago answering all the questions I had about belts and supplies. Thanks for continuing to create new content!
Definitely agree with you not many window cleaning pouches that give us enough spaces for tools rags etc that we need as window cleaners definitely something that needs some attention to but yes definitely need a good fitting belt one of the most important part of our setup I personally have been liking that maykker belt with my ettore two pouch and silencer with Unger black leather double squeegee holster and sorbo steel wool pouch works great for me but to each its own
I definitely need suspenders on my belt. I also use a carpenter belt. Window cleaner belts are pretty generic imo. I’m sure glad I got my silencer a few years ago now.
What did you mean when you said that bronze wool is done? I just bought the bronze wool pad kit online for my waterfed pole. Thanks for the amazing video as always!
I use a similar belt and Where I'm at you have to keep everything on your belt about 85% of the time. Windows over here in Ramona are nasty. Great video
I recently purchased the Moerman Excelerator 2.0 Complete Squeegee. I've got the Unger Ninja boab. It doesn't fit real well in it. It also seems to put pressure on the rubber in the area that holds the squeegee. So when I pull it out to use the rubber has an area that is raised. I am getting a trail of water left on the glass. The first job I've used this on is a place that has paned windows on top of casements. So the 14" spends more time in the boab thus exasperating the issue. I've for years used the Pulex Aluminum. I run that at 16" for years. Unless I can get this handle to fit and work. I'll end up back at the Pulex. I do like the fit and function of the Moerman. Any ideas? Thank you.
Thank you for this. I wear too much on my belt too - with the same reason - less trips to the truck!! HOWEVER, I've only been at this going on 3 seasons, so I need to have a few detail rags on me (so far I like the surgical rags the best). I seem to never have enough room for my needed stuff. I've yet to find an ideal arrangement! Lowes Canada doesn't carry this pouch, so I'm looking for a similar one.
Is $130 a month insurance around average? Just getting started up, a little worried to take on a monthly payment like that whenever I'm just now building my clientele. Maybe I'll make sure I have some customers before I commit. Or maybe I need to shop around for a better price
@@SteveOthewindowcleaner Thank you Steve. I’m learning a lot from you man I really appreciate all the knowledge you shared with us. I Took over my father’s carpet cleaning business that he started in 1995. We are now starting to offer Window and solar cleaning as well. So far I have all the basic tools but not everything. I’m going to be needing a short pole and a few other supplies. The poles at Home Depot and Lowe’s seem to be very cheap and flimsy.
Unfortunately the silencers are not being made anymore, the manufacturer is making these now windowcleaner.com/xero-grackles?pt=MY If you would like to text me 970.599.1437 I can alert you when they are in
Sales is all the time honestly and then at least 2 days a week and sometimes Saturday for cleaning. Consists of some route, residential and low rise commercial. It’s a nice combo.
Hello mr. Steveo. I live in Ukraine, the city of Lvov, as you know, we have a war. in my city there lived a little less than a million people, in the last two weeks about 200,000 settlers came to us. my city was fired twice with cruise missiles. despite this, we try to work to support the motherland. migrants are looking for work, but there are very few vacancies, I can take one person to me, even though there are few orders, and I can teach several people to clean windows, and they will find clients themselves. friends, maybe you have a window cleaning tool that you don’t use, could you donate them to a good cause, consumables and chemicals are also very necessary. In any case, thank you very much for supporting Ukraine

Check out the Milwaukee 15-Pocket Electricians Tool Holder from Home Depot! We love it and it is very sturdy and perfect size imo 🙌🏻
I switched to paint can opener for screens instead of putty knife.

Yea, I’ve put sorbo and triumph scrapers in it too

Would like to purchase a silencer. Website says sold out. When would be a good time to check back?

Do you have a template of a quote you send customers?
Hey STEVO can you ask me how to make my own belt or tell me your set up thanks.
How much longer do you think you will clean windows?
Forever, I don’t plan on ever fully leaving it
Good to hear.@@SteveOthewindowcleaner
WHERE DO YOU GET THE BRONCOS SILENCER I NEED IT!
It was a one off but now there is the grackle which is made in black windowcleaner.com/products/xero-grackle?sca_ref=3020242.k17l3JaEgS
Nice SteveO. What did you mean bronze wool is done?
The manufacturer doesn’t make the ultra fine bronze wool needed to clean windows in the US anymore 😩
@@SteveOthewindowcleaner so the walnut pads are a good alternative for the bronze wool pads?
And how to get better because I just started.
Where did you get the cool shirt???
Got these made from FinPrint
