I use traditional where ever I can. I prefer nose to glass as I think it yields better results. However, I will use WFP on really tall windows or hard to reach areas.

Here in SoCal, the sun can be a problem, especially on large or irregular shaped windows. For me, that's where WFP really shines. That and of course, second story work. Otherwise, I'm considerably faster using traditional methods. I don't see how one can be successful without having trad skills. Thanks for all the great content!

I agree with your comments, Steve, about trying to convince the customer to include internal cleaning. If a customer asks for an external only quote, I suggest that I include the internal cleaning as a separate line item on the quote. "Here's some additional info that may help with your decision" is something I will say to them.
In 80% of the time, the customer decided to get the internal done as well. They feel good at the outcome and I leave with the satisfaction of another satisfied custome.

Anytime I can leave the 24 ft ladder on the trailer is a good day. Today was a house I cleaned for the first time. That’s the only time I do trad on a 2 or 3 story house. The initial visit. Then get the client on an annual schedule and maintain it with WFP.

Hi Great video. I only use wfed on outside With DI or RO beading isn't an issue plus with trad there is still residue left on windows very little but still on the window so the glass is likely to attract more dirt from humidity moisture via osmosis. Other than the external elements wfed glass will stay cleaner.

You can do traditional only but you can't do WFP only. There's just going to be situations where spraying water above certain doors isn't good, and tricky roof lines where WFP literally won't reach etc... Also, a window may be further than your hose length and the list goes on.

I love my water fed pole. However, if you can’t use traditional tools proficiently, you’re not really a window cleaner. Imagine trying to explain to a customer that you can clean their outside windows perfectly, but you have no idea how to clean the inside of the glass. Anyone choosing water fed pole only are in it for a quick buck. Probably baited by all the “we charged $400 to clean these windows and it only too 1 hour” videos.

The rest of my learning has been in the job training, I’ve tried every gimmick there’s been. Everything you said I can 100% validate. My ladder collapsed on a three story and I started getting jobs on hillsides so I sprung for the WFP. I do each job according to what will be the best. Fact- 50% of every job we do is traditional😂 Better learn it!😊

I don’t understand why so many window cleaners say you must either do trad, or WFP?, you can do both if you’re not lazy,
I believe a WFP window cleaner, who hasn’t got trad experience,
Isn’t a fully trained window cleaner, you should at least learn trad,
You can’t use WFP inside buildings!
I do both, my work is 50% trad, 50% WFP,
