One of my favorite movies because (1) it stars my favorite actress, Barbara Stanwyck and (2) it was made in the early sixties, the ultimate time for psychological horror.
Very true on the physiological horror especially with Hitchcock and others doing great shows/movies
I love Barbara Stanwyck as well. Fascinating woman.
100%
And it's a William Castle film. Love them.
Psychological horror. One can also be literally scared to death.@@walterhager8626
A William Castle production with Barbara Stanwyck. A Psychological thriller with some horror elements... A good choice to watch. Old school is the best school.
What a stupid convoluted movie! Just idiotic!
I AGREE!! this whole program ain't any good- there AIN'T Any Creatures in this Creature Features, I un- subscribed because this show is STUPID, and that Idiot Vincent with his childish "TV Guide" skit and his other failed attempts at humor wouldn't make a 5 year old laugh. This show SUCKS

Just two years after he produced this movie William Castle produced "Rosemary's Baby."

@Creature Features - great movie. I’ve never seen this before. Love William Castle’s work!
My year!! I was born in 64!! This is a good movie!! Love William Castle films!!
This Is Actually Better Than 99% Of The Movies Out Of Hollywood These Days!!!
I am amazed at how you keep your act so fresh. Lovely writing and acting. Thanks and❤ from Michigan USA!
Vic Mizzy composed the memorable score for Wm. Castle's THE NIGHT WALKER. His most famous composition is the TV theme music for THE ADDAMS FAMILY. I never pass up a Barbara Stanwyck flick!
“Food, glorious food ….”

I think you should put out a
Tangella doll!!!
More popular than

Please include a

Better than Bratz, not that they betray their sex, we all grow up in our own time, so high, yes.
Orja'let.
Come for the movie but always love rockin' out to the theme tune - undead Bon Scott or whoever it is smashes that tune \m/, Great stuff, Vincent, Tangella & Livingstone, never stop, please

This is a GREAT movie from William Castle!!!
Ms stanwyck a beautiful beautiful woman 👠👠
I'm 65 Now and saw this when I was a kid. Scary as hell then and was always my favorite horror flick.
No one mentioned the music composer and arranger, Vic Mizzy! I thought the name looked very familiar and it turns out he wrote lots of movie and TV music including the theme songs for The Addams Family and Green Acres.
yip
Merci pour le film 😊
A few weeks ago, I had never watched Creature Features... now, it's kind of all I watch. LOL Fortunately, the backlog of episodes is vast!
You little fool!
Jumps out of bed with her hair perfectly in place. Wish my hair looked like that after the night sleeping
Has Alfred Hitchcock vibes 💯👍👍👍👍👍
LOVE all William Castle movies!! Trivia: William Castle was the man outside the phone booth when Mia Farrow was calling for help in 'Rosmary's Baby'!!
Interesting fact. Anton Lavey played the Devil in Tosemarys Baby.
The soundtrack is great❤
Interesting film! I really enjoyed it. Thank you Creature Features! Love you guys! ❤
nice outfit Vincent you remind me of my brother he was a genies RIP Steven and dress like my biker brother Roger he is my best friend in the world he hates bullies too especially ones wielding knives he is sixty-five and drives eighteen wheelers and hobby of building Harleys with a heart as big as a house and bad to the bone keep up the good work cast and crew i am hooked besides i love horror sci-fi and monster movies and i been seeing lots of ones i have never seen and interesting guests make it interesting commenting just out of respect i love the mansion just needs a big fish pond to swim in with fish and frogs to be crooking all night and a lake monster in it for the kids

When I was a child, this movie scared the hell out of me and the soundtrack was part of the scare. So years later I bought the soundtrack to it.

from 'oliver!'
Reminds me a little of another film called "Carnival of Souls"...
Great story!!
I like the groovy 60s music at the beginning.
That was beyond a awesome movie 🎥🎥🎥 well done creature features 💯💯💯💯💯
YAY! 😃😍🥰 I love this show, and Tangella is back to normal! Why did she look so different a while ago suddenly? 🧐🤔
My all time favorite ❤
and its my cult film
Great movie. Recently saw a documentary about Barbara Stanwyck. What a character. What a career and life.
Think the Macintosh was waiting on the threshold, at least in the Netherlands.
Thanks, CF ❤️🤗🍿 🐈⬛
🪦 👻🌌✨🦉🎶 🌝🦇
Excellent cast. I believe Barbara Stanwyck and Robert Taylor were married when younger. Miss Stanwyck was a class act, as well as a fine actor. Thanks for posting this movie!
Thanks CF for another great Saturday night
Tangella was soooo cute laughing at Mr. Livingston...❤😂👍
They all look marvelous, tonight.
Livingston should tan her ass, not even an eyeroll, I don't even unnerstan.
I haven't been a subscriber, for long. From New Zealand 🇳🇿
My favorite 3 people in the world Vincent tangella Mr Sir Livingston 💯💯
What about Andrew?
great film never seen this before but I probably thing at some point my mum would have watched it in her lifetime when she was a live - i enjoyed it felt a bit creepy
Thanks from England, good old school film 🎥 chilling on sofa watching this movie with beers 🍻 and green 💚
I'M HALF WAY AND STILL GOT NO IDEA WHAT'S THIS MOVIE ABOUT, I'M HOPING THE SECOND HALF WILL CLEAR IT OUT.
That won’t help.
😃
@messamurai2658 It makes no sense! The lawyer had all the money (estate) and he could have said her husband had so much debt, that it wouldn't cover expenses. Lawyers rarely have to murder people.
@@deanmoulton8994 you have not understand thid film
The hope is in vain.
So much fun to watch.
I've always loved the opening sequence. Very scary. 😮
William Castle is great. He elevated the gimmick to high art
The score for this movie was delightful.
“Food, glorious food …”
😃
Haunting soundtrack. The main riff reminds me of "Food, Glorious Food" from "Oliver."
Oliver great film I liked it that much I had to buy it as it's NOT FREE on you tube.
😢
I knew it wasn't just me that kept hearing that melody.
@@troyhickman4904 Yup. I had the cassette tape of Oliver in about 1970, so the tunes were burned into my brain as a kid.
I wondered whether Lionel Bart ripped off The Night Walker, or vice versa. The Night Walker came out on 1964, and the Oliver movie was released in 1968.
However, the stage version of Oliver was around in 1960, so the odds are pretty good that William Castle (or his composer) liked and lifted it.
Cheers
That bass and piano riff is the best I have ever heard......
I am so grateful that you got t his movie. I have been asking for quite a long time.
I enjoyed your movie The Street Walker , but it wasnt what i expected
At the wedding .. those were not her hands
Cool film, great to see Taylor and Stanwyck in a film together !
I remember Barbara stanwyck in big valley with Lee majors and Linda Evans awesome show 💯
One of the best psychological thrillers ever made. A masterpiece.Always like movies of this kind. Not into blood and gore like the saw movies but love films like Psycho by Alfred Hitchcock.
agree its cult
1:16:24 I f'kn hate these movies, coyote bait, learn it, live it
Nice one and rather rare.
what the fuck is with that intro???

I sleep one eye open married once.
What I find interesting about this episode of Creature Features is that the front of the apartment building with apartment 341 in Barbara Stanwyck's dream bears a striking resemblance to the front of the doll house with the ghost that was sent to Tangella in the letters reading portion.
Cool movie "The Night Walker". Vincent, Tangella, Livingston are very entertaining and nice guest Andrew Farago.
An oldie! Yay!
That woman will be screwed up for the rest of her life
Is it a red pokémon carp Miss Tangella is holding? Spooky things that haunt my dreams!
I enjoy your show guys keep up the good work all 3 of you are awesome 👌🏾 😍
I love watching these bad B movies, I fall asleep usually on Saturday Nights before I can watch them. I Love The live Chat, it's like we get a chance to do our own group MST3K. i don't think it was a B movie but if it was it was fun yes i slept through it the first time I'm glad i came back to see what i missed

Vincent reminds me of Dani filth from cradle of filth 🤘🤘🤘🤘
Can anyone provide a source for the creature at 1:22 of the intro. I've been trying to remember a movie from when I was a kid and that might be it.
_Invaders from Mars_ but the 1986 remake not the 1953 original.
BTW, i couldn't remember it either so I took a screenshot of UA-cam on my mobile (cropped to have only the monster and not also the comments section 😊) then on Google tapped the Camera icon to the right of the search bar to upload the cropped screenshot. Not many know Google had this awesome "visual search" feature 👍
I was oddly enough thinking I dreamt up the movie but yes that's the movie I remember it now from those screen shots. Thank you@@ethzero
What a star studded line up. In all my years, I can't believe I've never seen this movie and i love my classic horror, thrillers etc. Great work wonderful Creatures. From down under!
I only watch to see Tangella ... and her awesome little dance and her hoop
Mesmerizing, I hope she doesn't throw her back out...
The Night (i'm scare) Running. This movie is frightening.
I think wes craven took alot of inspiration from this and other movies to create Freddy Krueger
Absolutely love your guest, I wanted to and was studying to be a comic book and cartoon illustrator and would love to see this museum!!! Gary Bailey KingofDarkness
A very interesting film...to say the least. Stanwyck and Taylor, by the time that this film was shot, had been divorced for about 13 years. How William Castle, the extraordinary producer/director of campy, gimicky B movies, got these two A-List stars to appear together in one of his productions must be an interesting tale. And, Hayden Rourke looks nothing like his character on I Dream Of Jeannie. Barbara Stanwyck is my favorite actress ever. At one time she was the highest paid in Hollywood...more than Davis, more than Garbo, more than Crawford. Thanks for showing this on Creature Features. Keep up the good work!
Well, she got to slap him (at 1:00:32). Props consistently steal the scenes from the actors in this refugee from TV.

Funny how Hayden Rourke and Barbara Stanwyck are playing a str8 couple considering their sexuality
Did a woman ever age as well as Barbara Stanwyck? 😍
I’ve fallen off a cliff in my dream and hit bottom, my heart thumped in my chest then it felt like I was floating.
awesome ...
Loved it!❤
Unexpected developing horror story indeed. A NICE kind of horror, which depends on situational developments, not on streams of blood. 🙂 The scene where the wax figures were ripped apart and thrown down looks to me as a humoristic blink to the "fat" horror movies where indeed limbs and heads fly all over the place.. well, here too but they are puppet parts without blood. Insider joke succeeded !
The Graphic Violence problem is related to the uncanny valley issue, the suspension of disbelief the relationship between them.
Calvin and Hobbes' creator Bill Watterson never allowed his trademark cartoons on any product. Back in the 90's I got a bootleg C&H t-shirt at a Grateful Dead gig.
If I was cartoon/comic character I'd be SwampWeed.
Maybe I'd show up in a graphic novel teaming up with Man-Thing!
I am actually about to watch a vintage horror that I have never seen! So excited can't wait! Thank you ❤
