Dont get the "gou chey" landlord. I am also an agent, and if I do feel the landlord is very "gou chey", nitpicking, petty landlord, I avoid at all costs.
I'm currently seeking to rent a place in Singapore to live in. I have noted down all seven points and will refer to them whenever I seek to view a unit. Thank you for this video.
Really great information for those who need real daily costs, like me. Could you clarify for me about the costs when you rent for the first time a condo or HDB, I´ll probably moving in a month and need to calculate a budget for the first month, I´ll receive accommodation for the first 10 days but after that, I´ll be by my myself, I see that you need to pay 3 months in advance for moving. What are the alternatives? any info will be appreciated. thanks in advance
I and my family are moving to SG some time in the next two years. Thank you so much for all of this valuable information! Things seem fairly different from the US where we are so these are great tips
Great video and great tips told in such a succinct and clear fashion. Almost all these tips could be used in other countries too. I was thinking about lots of these tips when I was trying to move out of my flat in Portugal - especially the repeat viewings and not letting the agent talk over you if noise is something that you are concerned about (after all I will not be living there with the agent but alone and most likely in silence coz I am not a party animal)
