Great video, I agree linen is fantastic, and loafers are super comfy and still stylish enough. For fragrances, I use a drop or two of some organic essential oil blends, you can dilute them on a solution of carrier oil like coconut oil and/or water or some of them I even use them directly on my skin.
I ordered my linen shirts in the winter. I have m my under the lemon trees. Ordered 5 pair of chinos. Just need some white shoes now. May change my gold watch for a silver one.
If possible consider keeping the gold watch and adding the silver so you can switch things up a little. I have collected a handful of different style watches over the years and it is nice to be able to match your watch to your outfit/situation.
I just bought some white Cole Haan sneakers in Memorial Day. Holy cow the style factor is on point. Also, I highly recommend rocking solid colored T-shirts.H&M sells some breathable ones for like $15.

I love linen and wear it all the time during the summer. I agree as to polyester and polyester blends. A stylish gentleman should never wear polyester. The only acceptable fabrics for a stylish gentleman are wool, cotton, linen and silk. I love that you showed Veja sneakers. I saw them all of Paris and picked a pair when I was there in March. I also wear loafers and the no show look. It’s a look you see all over Florence. I love Acqua de Parma Blu Mediterranean for the summer.
I don't care what people say, I love polyester. I like its durability and ease of cleaning and it still looks good. As for breath ability, not an issue for me, I hardly ever sweat.

@@Snarge22 well the material is a lot lighter and softer than cotton, so it will always feel good on you, like polyester can make you itchy some people get the same thing from wool can cotton is really hard to shop for because they don't always put the density on the tag so you could be getting heavy cotton in the summer instead of light cotton. Could you please make a video about alternatives to the white sneaker, for those of us who don't like the idea of having to wash our shoes every day when we get home?
Hi Courtney. I'm curious to read anything you might be able to link to that supports the assertion you're making about new science coming out showing that fragrances disrupt hormones. My understanding was that this is a longstanding myth, but I'm open to new info. I'm sure I'm not the only subscriber who wears perfume daily, and if there is growing cause for concern I'd sure like to read more about it. Thanks for all the great content.

I think when linen is recommended there needs to be caveats mentioned over its maintenance. It’s incredibly difficult to maintain as it does not iron well. Creased linen is not a good look, so you’ll need to put the work in. Ideally, it’s at its best to iron when slightly damp.
I’m not as much a fan of the sleeveless hoodies but I could see the other items working well for a street style type of look! Not necessarily my vibe but if you like it, wear it! 🥰
Hey Courtney, just curious - Where did you find that long sleeve green linen shirt at the beginning of the video? I’d love to pick it up for the Summer. Thank you in advance 😀 Sidenote: Love that two fellow Ohioans got married. We love Both of your channels! 👍🏼
Thank you for doing these Courtney. I was really in love with my V-Necks. After your video, I took a poll from my female friends and they didn't like the V-Necks either. I'm going to compare it to women's love affair with capri pants. Men don't like them but women love them.
I don't understand why "sockless" with shoes, or "no show" socks is better than socks that match your pants or shoes. Someone please explain. Thank You!
She's truly incredible at presentating . However her intellectual and emotional maturity is 2nd to non. How that has happened with such an incredibly beautiful person is something we need to study !
Love your stuff as alway but one point of info here chino is a style of pants, linen is a fabric. They are not mutually exclusive. I own several pairs of linen chinos in various colors including khaki. Congrats on nearly 3/4m subscribers.
Ironically my shorts are gonna be longer and baggy this summer, but gonna pair them with some boots/ chunky sneakers. And I swear if I hear “chinos” again I’m going to lose my mind.
Loafers are for dancing. Leather soles a must. But I could never wear then with no socks. I got lucky on accident. I always put my cologne on my shirt. You are oh so right about black in the summer. I don't know how the traditional bikers do it with black leather in the summer, Oh no, no, no. A gloss blk helmet is 20 degrees hotter than a flat white helmet at 85 degrees in direct sun. Measured it myself with IR thermometer. Gloss color is hotter than flat color too.
Could you make a video similar to this, but instead of just recommending the clothes, you build a few outfits with a budget in mind? Say $200,500,1000? Love these videos but always am left asking myself, where should I shop for these clothes and how much will it cost me to upgrade my wardrobe?
Bouncing off of this I would also say maybe doing a similar video that is brand related? Never been a big linen guy but like the idea. Would love some recommendations on places to buy from

What are your thoughts on sleeveless hoodies, and army fatigue pants? And white airforce 1s as a little evening style… as an outfit
I’m not as much a fan of the sleeveless hoodies but I could see the other items working well for a street style type of look! Not necessarily my vibe but if you like it, wear it! 🥰
@@CourtneyRyanwhy thank you
I do usually go for a street style when I dress
Hey Courtney, just curious - Where did you find that long sleeve green linen shirt at the beginning of the video? I’d love to pick it up for the Summer.
Thank you in advance 😀
Sidenote: Love that two fellow Ohioans got married. We love Both of your channels! 👍🏼
Love watching Teddy's videos, very informative, love wearing wrist candy
Thank you Courtney! Great video and advice! When are you going to collaborate with Teddy?
Thank you for doing these Courtney. I was really in love with my V-Necks. After your video, I took a poll from my female friends and they didn't like the V-Necks either. I'm going to compare it to women's love affair with capri pants. Men don't like them but women love them.
Courtney you make the world a better place
What shoes are you supposed to wear with those linen pants
I don't understand why "sockless" with shoes, or "no show" socks is better than socks that match your pants or shoes. Someone please explain. Thank You!
I always appreciate your input. I love your style Courtney. Your husband is one lucky man....
I "watch" both you and Teddy and didn't know you were married...so nice!
Some other summer fragrances I'd recommend are Aqua di Gio and Guess 1981. They're inexpensive and smell great
Thank you so much!
I must add one big negative for the linen pants, if you go with light colors (white in particular) they are somewhat see through.
Great and helpful video.
Excellent hair!
Can you do one for big guys because not all guys are skinny were fluffy
hi thank you from France you helped me so much ;)
Your winning with linen for summer Thank you God bless
She's truly incredible at presentating . However her intellectual and emotional maturity is 2nd to non. How that has happened with such an incredibly beautiful person is something we need to study !

I think "old money" style is back in, especially for the summer. My go to style.
anyone recommend a good pair of white sneakers that are easy to clean and will last? thx
LINKS Courtney please we need links
COURTNEY YOU ARE TOO CLUTCH!!!
Love your stuff as alway but one point of info here chino is a style of pants, linen is a fabric. They are not mutually exclusive. I own several pairs of linen chinos in various colors including khaki.
Congrats on nearly 3/4m subscribers.
I love your perspective, Courtney ❤👍
I appreciate you!
Ironically my shorts are gonna be longer and baggy this summer, but gonna pair them with some boots/ chunky sneakers. And I swear if I hear “chinos” again I’m going to lose my mind.
Linen should be a blend with silk to allow for easier ironing.
Teddy I’m proud of you bro !
Courtney, nice video and advice. Any recommendations for a mid fifties guy with a little extra weight. (beer gut). thanks.
Could you make a video similar to this, but instead of just recommending the clothes, you build a few outfits with a budget in mind? Say $200,500,1000? Love these videos but always am left asking myself, where should I shop for these clothes and how much will it cost me to upgrade my wardrobe?
That’s a great idea!
Bouncing off of this I would also say maybe doing a similar video that is brand related? Never been a big linen guy but like the idea. Would love some recommendations on places to buy from
For basic linen button downs that wash well: H&M and Uniqlo ($29-$49). Macy’s probably sells them too.
