Great video! I have House of Leaves on my shelf but I’m not sure how to actually start reading it. Lol for some reason that book intimidates me. How would you suggest reading it?
The stranger diaries sounds AMAZING! I checked the audiobook's sample and it has multiple narrators and I just love when that happens, so.. can't wait to listen to it!!
Hoping to read The Final Girls Support Group this month and I'm so excited!!!!! Also I've been seeing House of Leaves pop up a lot lately and I feel like this is my sign to go get the book now! 🤣
Loving this video 🧡🧡 I’m going to read 12 Nights at Rotter House super soon! I LOVED The Patient so much! I freaking loveeee Horrorstor 😍 I love Grady Hendrix! I love your love for They Never Learn because I feel 10000% the same way! I had SO MUCH FUN.
I ended up refunding “Things have gotten worse since we last spoke” it was way too disturbing for me lol 😬 I’m currently reading The Grownup hope it doesn’t get too disturbing. Also almost done with The Retreat and wow it’s so good the whole gloomy atmosphere is perfect for fall.
So intrigued by so many of your recommendations. I really did NOT like Mexican Gothic. You should try City of Masks by Daniel Hecht. Super spooky and scary and the ending is devastating.
I listened to The Patient on Audible. It was really good. It reminded me of another on of my favorite books...which I won't say here...because it would be a spoiler.
I need advice. Soooo I really want to read, “Things have gotten worse since we last spoke”, but I’m terrified of the animal abuse everyone mentions. I’m one of those who doesn’t care who dies as long as the animals live. Lol. Sooo would you be able to warn me as to where that section is so I can skip it? Please help! Lol
I hate to tell you this but there are multiple scenes of graphic animal violence…. Since it’s such a short book I’m not sure if it would be worth the read if it will really upset you. Buttttt I’ll tell you that the only two parts that are coming to mind is when a lizard is brought up and also there is a story near the end about a priest (I think?) and a cat… I would skip those 2 parts if you still want to read! Hope that helps!
@@carolinejohnson3483 Oh you are amazing!!! Thank you so very much 🙏🏼. Yea, animals in pain or mistreated just breaks me. I can’t even watch The Revenant (with DiCaprio) because of the scene with the bear 🐻. I mean, I get it, he’s trying to survive but does that have to be at the 🐻 bear’s cost 😢😭😭😭😭💔. Again, thank you so much for responding and the heads up.
I love that 'just trust me' is a section on its own. I suggest Prosper's Demon if you are looking for a short read! This is such a fun video idea
You’re so fun and cute. I love your enthusiasm
Can you do a gory book recommendation video ?
Btw I’m a new subscriber 😁
Lovin these spooky recs! Tis the season! 🎃
