    A superb presentation, It brought many memories back to my mind, as a young child, gas light fittings in the caravan and early morning walks to collect the bread from the bakery...the smell remains with me to this day.....the beer garden where I had my first sip of beer in the jolly roger....in my recent past I remember my father and I visiting the grave yard where the crew members of the Sam Tampa were buried, and he told me the storey about seeing the Sam Tampa sailing out on its last journey as he was on a merchant navy coming into port. The date of which I never thought to research myself... Thank you so much !

    Very interesting. You can't find much information about this area from this period. So well researched and makes you think each tidbit and picture we need more people to capture these details before they are lost in time like Margaret Bourke White and many photographers did during the depression. Sometimes you don't think oh that will be there forever it is just an old building then poof it is gone!
