We loved seeing all of the Harry Potter shops in Edinburgh! And the bagpipes playing are so cool. We hope to make it back there sometime soon. -Candice, Andrew, & Riley 🐾
Hi Emma. Good to hear from you, Christmas and New year were very quiet for me, im planning a move back Newcastle way, this year after 8 years out in West Northumberland before i hit the big 60!!! scary stuff!; I worked at Newcastle University for about 12 years, anyway i hope you all get back over soon. Cheers Emma pet! jerry field😄
@@emmas_laughter, It damages the statue. It does NOT bring good luck. The myth was started a few years ago, and the people of Edinburgh wish tourists would not do it. Now having said that, I hope you had a Great time in Edinburgh. Look forward to your return. "Cleid Mile Failte" ( A Hundred Thousand Welcomes)
Hi Emma. Hope you are all well. Nice to see you back over here, and visiting Newcastle again, could you ever see yourselves moving back from Norway?. I would imagine you will be deep into Motherhood by now, hope it all went well, take good care. Jerry field😄
Hi Jerry ! So nice to hear from you again :) thank you, hope you’re well too! How was your New Year’s Eve and Christmas? I loveeeee Newcastle, I actually nearly chose to study at the uni there… the accent is gorg and the people are friendly !! I definitely could see myself moving back, I’m just not sure where in the UK I’d choose to live. Yes sort of deep into motherhood… Baby is still in hospital … 11 weeks down so far, but hopefully out soon😭💕
Great travel vlog, coming from a longtime resident (though always away with work). Just, in future, try for some ‘off the beaten track’ vibes content. Our city is richer and more conscious than that.
Thank you, I appreciate the comment! Yes I agree. Last time I visited Scotland we visited some beautiful places “off the beaten track”. We went adventuring and exploring in Callendar, Fort William, the Isle of Skye, etc. We looked for fairy pools and got lost and walked through the streams without our shoes, went on boat trips looking for Eagles, Hiked down into a deep gorge… lots of fun things. But this trip was a bit different. We went with my family so we had less flexibility. But it was still fun and we love Scotland!
Rubbing Bobby's nose just damages the statue, which is an A listed structure (edinburgh's smallest listed building). You can see how much it's been worn away hence please don't do it.
Tell your mum that she is wrong , the lyrics for Skippy as follows , Skippy, Skippy, skippy the bush kangaroo , if she makes that mistake again she will be banned from Australia . I'm glad you enjoyed my home town . Haste ye back .

That's a nice trip 🥰 please next time you say "half five" insert a picture with the clock just to make it clear for non-Englishmen 😂
Hahah sorry kasia 🤣 I always confused Norwegians with this. I’ll try say five thirty instead and insert a picture of the clock just for you🤪❤️
